Mine all rooted in about 9 days… I just dipped them in root gel and put them in little jars of water. Then I went to walmart and bought this $11 cake carrier. It worked perfect because it had the built in cupcake holders that the little jars fit in perfect. I drilled a small hole in the top of it for air. It was really tall also so my clones fit perfectly . So I essentially made my own little propagation station for under $15.
Set it in front of a window and the roots really took off growing. They have been planted for about 3-4 days and already have new growth.
I think they are coming along pretty well.

Awesome haha didn’t even think about that, I went to about 4 stores before work and nobody had domed seed starter treys or anything so I’ll stick with the bucket until I get some time and I’ll build a little clone hut so it’s ready for next time

Does this look a good size for the start of week 4 flower?
Just want to make sure we are on track. I feel like they've been that size for a few days now.

I sure hope so because I feel mine are all at that same spot. Yesterday was 21 days of flower and all 4 strains alebit different looking, all have about that same exact growth in frost and pistil growth. Your leaves look gorgeous as well and whatever you are doing if you keep doing I bet you are going to be floored

Thanks so much! That makes me feel better! Yours are awesome too! That’s is exactly what mine are… so maybe they are just stalling for a few days while they switch their energy over to focus on the buds?🤷🏼‍♀️

What flower nutes are you using?
I’m super excited about this whole flower stage! They make me sooooo HAPPY! 😂
But man…. Do they STINK( in a good way of course)! It about knocks me down every time I open the door in the morning.
I have a really good air purifier with carbon crystals in there too.

🤗 ty as well and stay strong, we got this 💪
I think more likely that sometimes we can't really tell how much they are changing because we look so often that it is very gradual. I think we will really start to notice the frost coming on and continued bud site swelling. I could be wrong but I have heard that late in flower, if your daytime and nightime temps differ a good 10ish degrees or more, that they like it and if you have genetics that are colorful it can help make them be more pronounced. Also like @CannaGranny says if we can drop RH and temps gradually but consistently, the plants trichomes act in defense and really increase 🤗

I just feed seaweed and molasses and then water the next. Didn't really use flower nutes persee aside from top dressing with dr earths flower girl and compost teas twice

Not really sure as I have my 1st cuttings now. I think how you LST should be based on your goals. For instance I do not want short plants because they are harder to hand water. For that reason I don't want to LST to early and or aggressively until they are taller. If I was short on tent height though, I would LST early and often with emphasis on exposing node sides to maximum light

JMO, but you're a tad early on the LST as Perf mentioned. I would Top and FIM for now to try and grow as many bud sites as you can.

The whole idea to training is to induce shape and volume. There are excellent resources on this site that explain what Topping and FIMing are and what they do and how to do it if you aren't familiar. Shape meaning how you want it to grow in regards to the grow style you are attempting (Sea of Green, Screen of Green, etc.) and volume in regards to how many bud sites you want to grow. In topping what you are trying to do is break the plants apical dominance, that's where the plant naturally grows in a Xmas tree shape, by cutting or "Topping" the main stem in early training. Since you are growing under artificial lighting the shape you want to achieve for maximum yield is a flat top canopy. This will afford the best light coverage to all your bud sites and give you a nice even canopy full of colas!!

You want to wait around 5th or 6th node before you start Topping and FIMing. I count around 3 nodes from the pic.

The picture below shows how my plants look after a few weeks of training. What you're looking for is a vase shaped under branch network and all bud sites relatively even at canopy line. You can achieve canopy line eveness with LST training. I would start LST training after you have branches with multiple bud sites. Since the branches usually grow straight up you can bend them over to the side to expose the bottom bud sites on the branch line to more light giving you bigger and more abundant flowers per branch. These sites will grow straight up and will give you a canopy of pure flowers!

I encourage you to continue learning about different grow methods. I like the screen of green method as that seems to yield the most flower per square foot but there are lots of other factors that help in that.

Good Luck and Welcome to The Farm!!!

My Bad! After reviewing your pics your already at 5th node. You can cut the main stem at the node below the top leaf. Don't cut right at the node. Leave around 1/2" of main stem above it if you have enough. 45* cut.

Thank you!
She seems to be doing good this morning and perked right back up. I’m running a little experiment to see what method works the best.

LST this morning….that I topped also.

Then this little scraggler… that I took all top nodes off and cut in the middle of the stem…

Then my extra little clones still rooting… in case any of the above go wrong.😂

You are probably 100% correct! I literally check on them 3-4 times a day…. I will start changing the temps lower at night also.

Oh so you only bend the branches to LST? Not the whole main stem?
