Start of 2nd Grow. This time in Soil

Took me growin till harvest once to realize the reason disp flower can look good and smell good, but taste and smoke like ass. Has to be the speed-dry cause every fkin time it is the same faint or sometimes strong, taste of chlorophyll/hay/lawn clippings.

Hah hell yeah your herb was on par with COs best. THAT is what is up. Betcha a pretty penny this harvest will be better. Ahh so you are talkin one large grow room and just double up and don't go perpetual. Hmmmm I can't believe I am such a highball that I never considered it but it totally makes more sense in many cases. For me I will have to keep my tents and grow in them but I can see a strong case for growing twice as much at same time vs perpetual. See what you've done. Now I might have to rethink EVERYTHING lol jk but seriously, good thinkin man as always

Yup! Most newbs don't realize that curing correctly is just as important as growing. I see new farmers let their guard down once they harvest and just speed dry to taste the fruits of their labors. They don't realize that they just ruined months of their hard work trying to build up those terpenes only to evaporate them away in their haste.

So right. Not only by patience but for many I don't think we were well prepared enough. Different climates everywhere, changing by the season drastically for most, coupled with just not fully grasping such key things. I really want to do what I can to preserve the terps from my current grow. I feel like I have 4-5 solid weeks left but am sketched about how fast shit can go down hill. I feel like it has been just too quite and trouble free in my tent and that something has got to give hah

It has been 28 days of flower and every day I have waited for them to give off a scent. Just some sort of individual profile and finally. I took a very close wiff of this bad girl Blue Sunset Sherbert and one 2 words immediately came to mind. Fruity Pebbles and I fkin love the smell of fruity pebbles.
The GRC x BBC isn't giving off much of anything other than I can tell she is starting.
The Blueberry ehhh not really anything either.
The Mimosa x Orange Punch is too far to smell up close so I gave a bud a lil squeezy and whooooooooooa she smells like champagne with orange juice in it.
Soo fkin stoked. I can't imagine what this tent is going to smell like in a month with 4 different girls screamin smells at each other. This exhaust is going to put in work

No brotha I haven't but thanks for the links. Never had heard of it but just looked into it meow. I've seen a couple of his vids but not all. Gonna watch all of them now though. He's a great wealth of info for sure

I plan on making my own veganic style mixes using all natural grown plants/seeds for the mix. When I get to it I'll do a journal for folks into that kind of growing

Whoa that sheet better work for a hundo. Have you tried that before? I think if I used that this grow I would never sleep well again. I'd constantly fear being assassinated by @CannaGranny from 1-2 miles away
This grow I swore I'd do exactly what she said and not deviate at all. She watched me get in my way enough my 1st grow I think she felt pity on me like a wounded and broken handi-abled stoner
I sure am not out of the woods yet but all in all this grow has been a breeze just like she said. Aside from the uneven canopy of having 4 strains it has been like clockwork. To have the Blue Sunset Sherbert give off a distinct fruity pebbles smell and the mimosa x orange punch to smell exactly like champagne and oj really made my day today hah. Cheers and knock on wood to another 4-6 weeks hassle free

Yes, I've used it before. I was at a weed convention and one of the reps had boxes of sample bottles to give out. He and I got along pretty well so at the end of the convention he saw me and motioned me over. He handed me a full box of the samples and told me that he didn't like carting around samples after shows so I could have them!!! SCORE!!!

I ran them on a small grow a buddy and I had going. We had built out four 40 ft sea containers in a 3,000 sq/ft warehouse we had leased. We were running Skywalker OG in 2 of the containers for our west coast clients and Sour Diesel in the other 2 for our East coast clients. We ran one container with the Terp additive and one without for each cultivar. There was a noticeable difference in taste and smell and, to a lesser degree, the high.

Anytime I run a grow for commercial purposes I use it. Dispensaries love high THC test reports but when you present product that knocks them back from the gas when they open the bag.....$$$$$! I noticed it seems to really shine on cultivars with a more citrusy profile.

You just made my day! Be patient GrassHopper, those smells will come. You will see, the riper they get, well the riper they smell. I can also tell you that genetics play a big part. I was pretty discouraged with that Orange Widow, seemed not to smell at all, the last week or so they reeked. Smelled like some kind of candy from my childhood, but I couldn’t directly identify it. It’s banging good stuff.
I just got back home, but I was sitting on a mountain top early this morn in Branson, watching the sun come up having a smoke. Fantastic way to start the day

I was pretty discouraged with that Orange Widow, seemed not to smell at all, the last week or so they reeked. Smelled like some kind of candy from my childhood, but I couldn’t directly identify it.
