One Plant One Scrog Contest CannaGranny Style

Hey Bub, we have all had this to happen. Knowing how good you are to keep things as they should be…I lay a lot of this off on genetics. A lot of these seeds have no generations behind them, just bullshit names and a place on the market. Sorry, not sorry and yes, I said that. On the upside, xlent job on the frost. Pop another and get back at it!

I just read up on hermies a bit and it seems it could be quite a number of things. I've recently put the plants in the tent close to the window so that I could drop the temps but that was like 2 days ago. Maybe even 1-2 days of stress from cold they can't hack can flip them? Possible it is light leaks from me being in the room here and there but ehh had 4 strains in same room last grow no problem. On one hand I can really see how you are right and it is likely genetics and on the other I feel it is something I've done. Sucks though cause I tried hard and won't be able to experience the Purple Dragon Balls strain as I'd have liked. I ordered 5 reg seeds and they sent like frikkin 9! I botched germ so bad I ended up with 6 plants I grew out and 2 of them were female. Now I raised plants that are future drag queens and will end up with none lol actually my mom doesn't even smoke but lives a mile away and I told her I am giving her 2 plants to put outside in her backyard. She is really good gardener and we will see what happens lmao I gave her a blueberry clone weeks ago and when I stop by I'm like wtf it looks really good but just sooo cold now at night here that growth is slowed now in mid flower. I will give her the 2 Purple Dragon Balls and then leave the mimosa till further notice. I'd hate to toss it but not sure whether it is worth growing out vs starting over. Some things to consider no doubt but glad I'm not alone

it is one my favorite too. But now in my current grow i think the last two weeks might be my new favorite: seeing the bulk, frost, and color come in. with that anticipation of smoking it up lol

I do sixty percent humidity with sixty to sixty five degrees. A fan moving the air but not on my plants. They dry at different rates, as soon as the stem snaps I cut and jar.

Do you wait till main stems snap or just the smaller stems? Cant find an answer to this and while my smaller branches are snappy, the mainstems tend to still have bend. Doesnt that mean they need more time drying?

mine only has 1 selection for wood and i use that. i believe i read @Aquaman state to use a soft wood. maybe he can see this and respond. here is an article about it too.

I have a moisture meter and got fristrated and didnt jse it lol. Might pick it up again and try it out next week when i start drying my super lemon haze

I wait until they all give a good snap. I have found the larger limbs are not far enough behind the smaller to matter much. I think it also helps to disburse the moisture after jarring. Keep in mind that I jar mine and I burp the jars for at least for a week. My dry is good and even and my flowers stay sticky. Just the way I like them.

Here is my entry: super lemon haze from greenhouse seed co. week 1.5 of flower. Gonna be defoliating her in a few days then letting her be until harvest, though I might take a leaf off here and there if its really annoying. Here are 100% coco, gh flora series 6 part nutrients. Watering 12x a day in lil squirts, runoff 2x a day once in morning and once hour before lights out. Running 45-55% humidity, and currently rockin around 73f average cuz im trying to mimic the cooler days of late summer.

Good to know, thanks for the advice! I have been burping my jars whenever they get above 63-64% humidity, but some of them had the humidity shoot up quickly, those I guess should have been dried a bit longer! I just harvested my Super Lemon Haze yesterday (will post on my thread about it soon) so hopefully my new drying tent setup will be ideal! I just have the tent's door cracked for ventilation, and a fan attached/pointed at the ceiling. If it gets above 63% humidity I open more flaps. Goal is to have all the doors/flaps closed in couple days, and just have a humidifier and circulation fan in there, no active exhausting. I guess Im trying to avoid an exhaust fan cuz I feel they will draw out some of the terps with the constant air exchange?

Flipped Rosetta Stone to flower yesterday. Heres to hoping I can get her to finish before the deadline,,,, Cheers! She will get a bit more tucking and abuse as the stretch comes on and then I will start raising the scrog after her spread is set. I've been defoliating like a mad man and you can't tell I've been working her. There will be a carpet of buds on this plant when it's all said and done.

Ok, we can cross off another first for me. I was going in the 5x5 for a update picture of Mrs. Epoxy, and uh whats that? And more speckled leaves looked kinda like glitter. Mother effing spider mites!!! Looks like I caught it early, but I’m still freaked out! I gently put some D E on the soil and cut anything i saw effected. Now ive got it sealed up tight, i raised the lights and turned them up to 100%. Hoping to heat it up. Now my biggest concern is not cross contamination, ive got another flower and veg tent going, how do I keep em out of there, if they arent already up in there?

I think a way to keep them out of other tents is to have filters on intake and exhaust. A good preventive for the other veg tent is to spray with natural neem oil in maybe three applications or until threat is gone, once every 2-3 days. It's good for plants and bad for bugs, will actually help leaves get a dark healthy green sometimes. I mix neem and any foliar feed with yucca, this allows me to spray at lights on without any burning or stress.
