Yeah......I did see a few sites that had seeds, but the old "sold out" banner....

Which is only slightly less annoying than my 2nd favorite banner, "discontinued". Don't remove the selection though.......that would be normal. :(
Yeah I guess they want me potential buyers to know they carry it maybe? Idk but I def get your point lol

I might have to go beyond that. The floor gets and stays pretty cold.... we have long, rough winters up here. It often gets down to 0 or below at night.
I have the same problem , last two years I been running a small 750 watt oil heater ( Walmart) with a fan blowing on it . This fall I think I’m going to build a 4x4 tile floor with in floor heating ( like peoples bathrooms) try and keep all 16 sq feet warm .

We have a heated floor in the basement bathroom.....very nice in the winter. It runs off of propane, just like our hot water, but the rest of the house is oil heat, the basement is electric. They're actually down there right now switching our oil burner, we're going all propane.......that'll free up more soace in the boiler room (no more oil tanks, the old water tank gone). That's a big step.

As far as the cold concrete foundation floor, I should check the temperature of it, both summer and winter. It could be as cold as 50 degrees in the winter, since the air temp gets down to the upper 50s down there. But between raising the pots off the floor, the heat from the lights......and I just bought a space heater, (a Delonghi, one that blows heatef air).......I think the temps will be good. Root temperature is so important. I gotta make sure the floor isn't cold.

Those little heat guns you point and pull trigger to get the temps are great for leaf surface temperature and actual surface temps. That becomes important when dealing with LEDs in cool environments. 🤘

It's this. I can easily get it close to 80 in the closet, even though I'm going to aim for low 70s and see how they like it, It's the roots temp that will be harder to keep above 70. Doable though.......

Here is how I survived the winter . I also have 5/8 rubber mats under the tent. I have a higher fan blowing down also . Keeps it around 21-24 Celsius 🇨🇦

That's like........114 Calvin?

Why do we have a system where half of us use centimeters and celsius, and the other half use inches and fahrenheit....

I completed a Humboldt Seed Co not Org. Train Wreck very very good first time was not so good very leather tasting and harvested a bit early but it’s next generation of clones I cut on time and smell of straight pine and earth with maybe wet wood or leather mixed in too. Definitely fill the room with a dank hazy smell like you are in a hookah bar or something. rock hard buds of all sizes too trichomes were not dense but definitely abundant and spaced out in little clusters like looking up in the night sky you could see the shimmers. Not sure how Humboldts wreck differs from other breeders wrecks considering it’s really just a name for how the plant grows and not really it’s genetic makeup. I did purchase the regular pack though.

Have any of you all found your Cat Piss, Ammonia, RKS, aka 1977-78' Skunk yet.
I tried to read up on this thread and all I see mentioned that's close is Train Wreck
Skunk was mostly an "east coast" variety from the Ohio Valley and the Appalachians eastward back in the day.
East Coast had the gassy piss varieties and the west had that fruity shit. lol
I began growing the Skunk in 1977 or 78'.
A few of us "old timers" still have it in our "stump stashes" and we don't share.
Cause look what's happened to today's weed. Full of damn hermis and all tastes the same.
Original Skunk has almost been lost forever, (due to breeding stupidity) if there wasn't isolated pockets of growers not on IG or other internet scam spots that never bred into this newer (elite/clone only) stuff.
Thing is, when you tell someone you have it, they don't believe you, so it quietly goes back into isolation until prohibition is over for all.
This is the real deal below
Just look at the length of those hairs lol
When it gets above 80 degrees, they start "gassing off" and makes you sick at your stomach to stick your nose in fresh flower.

I have some really stinky Piss and Skunk varieties running right now in early flower. After running a lot of acclaimed stuff these last years virtually all was bogus however the stuff I found recently is finally starting to get close to what I have been looking for. We will see in another few months once Im deeper in flower. This is the first time I have ran these cultivars and so far so good. I ran that trainwreck/skunk ammonia cut back in the day it's my holy grail smoke it was the best Ammonia skunk strain I have ever smelled it reeked to high hell and was amazing. But I haven't been able to find it ever since I lost it 20 years ago. There was some really hot ammonia skunk stuff in California decades ago however it was pretty rare most everything was Kush and sweet funk but I do remember a few times we did get the good stuff that your talking about. Once again rare but it was around if you smoked a lot you would occasionally stumble across it. That pic you are showing looks good I've seen long pistols like that before. The really good ammonia skunk that came from your area likely had a sativa expression to it at least thats what I read. That "gassing off" effect your referring to is epic I have experienced that once during a hot summer grow back in the day the ester alcohols in fresh flower would blow your head off. Im glad you still have it good to know it hasn't been crossed or contaminated. I have networked with lots of people recently some in the Appalachians as well I have a feeling Im gonna find the Esters soon it's just a matter of time I have been putting in the work and its paying off.

I've given my experiences, take/opinions on it in this thread, a few others have too. There are a few different stories, legends around who had it, worked it, the way it made it's way east, west, to Holland and back, and who still has "it". Besides the whole smell thing, I found the leaves to be very unique and exotic looking, the way it was serrated, a very on point Sativa/Indica blend look, the buds were fluffy but large and wouldn't quit. It could grow huge in a greenhouse or outdoors, but also tamed in a closet.

Mine came from Neville's Seed Bank in 1988, and was identical to what I bought in around 1983. I grew and picked it early, middle, and late. It is imprinted on my brain like a cow gets branded. ;)

There are some really great people here worth sharing it, who would take loving care if the real true original genetics were shared. Cool people, Dead Heads who were there in the early days........fine, I'll give you my address..... ;)

I don't know if you've read the whole thread yet. I haven't grown in 30 years until now. I already know better than to set the bar high but I've ordered 6 or 7 versions of "Skunk #1" seeds, so far mostly from older, well-known, rather easily available seed banks. In my case I'm using my first grow now to run through those, hunt them, see if any come close enough and stand out, along with Big Bud and Northern Lights/Afghanis, and a few other old-school names......I'm all about breeding, heirlooms, landraces, so this run is really a springboard, a "get the rust off" , build a genetic foundation grow.

Fuels are alkanes and alkenes. Limonene is an alkene, from cyclohexene. Alkenes, carboxylics, thiols can also be terpenes. Which makes the word terpene meaningless. The word terpene is literally meaningless in Cannabis context. It's likely saying 'bro this shit is moleculed out, so moleculey. I breed for molecules'.

Oregon Kid? Yes that's one strain I was looking at. Then there's the ones that are like "Banana cyclone explosion" with various banana names crossed with each other......

And yet Banana OG might still be the best.
You want the orgnkid cut my friend anything else would be difficult to get any provenance on - the business is and always has been a shady business also sometimes a breeder gets a cut of one thing and is told it is something else/ breeds with releases it as the name he was told…… you get it what I’m saying is whenever possible get genetics as close to the source as possible

I've never had any banana strain, and I can buy dozens of different varieties at any given time (I don't.....I wouldn’t be able to function), but not one banana. So I'll grow them.

Besides Banana OG, Banana Kush, and some of the newer ones, Divine Banana.......there are ones that make bold claims with names.....Ultra banana cake frosting explosion.......

What does everything think the most intense banana strain out there is?
