They're in the AP's Yaaeeeee!
I was going to wait till thurs but had some spare time to did it.
It was a job and took a few hrs but got it done with no hiccups.
I am checking regularly for leaks and anything that might spell trouble.

I am a lil high because I fell down the cellar stairs.
Needed the pain relief cause I usually do not smoke in the day time.
Well I let the dog in my room the last few days cause he is being real good
with the cats and this is their safe room ( it has a gate so dog cant get in but cats can squeese thru)
So unknown to me the dog ate 2 dishes of cat food and I didn't notice.
Dog did a poo pooo that I also didnt notice and stepped in it but didn't feel it cause it was soft uhg!
Well I grabbed the laundry basket and started down the stairs and slip smash I went down.
And that's why I'm high high high!
I'm sure I will feel back and arm pain tomorrow for sure.

Ok back to the plants. 🌿
The soil mix I am using is 1 part Coco-Coir and 2 parts Mother Earth Groundswell.
They are doing great and although a lil limpy because I
was going to feed today but instead transplanted them to the AP's
I got the PH at 5.8 It is the recomended PH for this method of growing.
The PPM is low at 450 cause of the soil mix, lil high PPM wise.
It looks messy with all those tubes and I might fix that in the future.
Light is at 50% and will go up after a few days lil bit by lil bit.
Light hieght is at 18".
I got 2 oc 6" fans going and a 4" inline booster duct fan drawing air into the tent from the cellar.
Also an air pump for the bottom of the pots.
Oxigen is supposted to help with root growth.
I got it on a timer for about 4 hres a day.
The UV lights are also on a timer for about 1 hr a day for now.
When they go into flower mode then it gets bumped up to 1.5 then 2 hrs a day.
I have a water pump in the Tank to mix everything up daily on a timer for about 4 hrs.
I think the tank holds 12 gal. I have an extra one but not useing right now.
They will switch to flower in 10 days or less, depends on how they are doing.
Now where's my bourbon 😁

I noticed something but maybe it's just me idk.
These first 2 pic's of plants have these lil skinny like leaves almost flower-like at the ends.
It don't look normal to me. There are several plants that have this look to them so not the strain.
The last plant pic is imo normal looking, nothing like the others.
Maybe nothing idk. Is my timer is defective and sending them into flower?

After thinking about it last night I might know what the prob is.
I turned my light up to 50% then up'ed it again to 60% a few days ago and I believe it's to much for them.
Turning it down to 40% today and raising it to 24".
I am pretty sure it is light intensity that cause the plants to do that.

Week 5 in Veg
All's good in the tent 😎

Tent Stats
Temp 82° give or take 1°
Hummy 40% give or take a couple of %
No drips or flooding.

Tank Stats
PH 6.20 a lil bit high but ok
PPM 450 plants seem ok with it for now.
Looks like bout 4-5 gals left
Will add 4-5 gals today or tomorrow
and up the PPM to 600 also cutting back on the Mag Pro to half the amt (1.25 tsp per gal. ).
and reducing the PH to 5.5-5.8 (my tap water is in the 7-7.2 range)
I also use Drip Clean (1ml per gal) to help keep the valves clear.

By or before the 6 week mark of veg. I will be flipping to 12/12
and incresing the light to 50%, it's at 40% now and about 45k lux.
I will steadily increase to 65k lux not sure if I will go higher, depends on when
I take the light to it's highest height lvl in the tent.
UV lights will increase to 1.5 hrs a day then 2 hrs a day max.

At 5 wks they look pretty good to me so far.
Minor leaf problems but should be corrected next feed.
If one plant or two is in dire need of fixin' I can shoot a tiny shot of nutes
directly into the base where the valve feeder is on the side of the pot base
or push a turkey baster into the side of the pot to give it a good squirt of the nutes it needs.

Skai likes panda best, not so much Shady as Shady will hiss and strike out but Skai to dumb
to know it's a warning to stay away ....dog! 🤣

Ya I did the same thing with mine I bumped it up and they started todroop so I dropped it a bit.....still trying to get these leds down...I want to give them more,,,the book says I can have them at 55,000 lux....nope they didn't like 50,000 I dropped back to 45,000.

No pic's but decided to go 12/12 today.
I think they are doing well enough.
Wanted to reference it so when I forget I can go back and 👀
8-10 wks from now I hope to have a great harvest.
Lux is in the 45k range give or take 3 or 4k.
Tank is still at bout 450 PPM but will up it to 500-550 in the next few days.
Temp 80° and hummy 40%
Cellar stays at bout 64° and hummy down there is bout 40-45%
Even tho it has a drain channel around the whole cellar it still
runs over the floor when it rains hard, hopfully the ground will freeze soon and put a stop to that.
That' s why the cellar hummy runs high sometimes.
Hey it's Evis's Birthday !!! 🎉🎂

Update after first night of 12/12
They look really good after their first 12 hrs of rest.
They are starting to fill the tent up :)

I also took some advice to detach the exhaust duct from the chimney.
The thinking is to put back all that warmer air into the cellar and
save a lil electric from the oil heater keeping the tent at 80° and
letting the warmer cellar air do some of that work.
Also reduce the steam as the hummy should increase a bit as well.
I will be keeping an eye on any adjustments I have to make
and hopefully this works out.
The low 70° temp is cause the lights just went on an hr before I took this pic.
Lights out at night drop the temp to bout 70° which slowly raise to 80° after they go back on.
I took screen pic of the temps in the tent and outside of the tent, cellar temp.

It looks like they have some nice color to them with healthy leaves, You're doing something right.......

I seeyYou got yourself one of them fancy phone apps.....Everything these days have these smart connect shit and its pissing me off.....I don't have no cell phone, I'm not getting one and everything wants me to use one.......No.! I'm Old I don't fking want one.....oooops I slipped.....sorry about that.

We can't even use a credit card without duel authorization via a smart phone app.........We're getting to be second class citizens, fk even the homeless have cell phones .....ooop s off on a rant...lol

Trying to keep basements warm and dry is tough when we add gallons of water to our plants and want them to sweat it off and take more water Its a viscous cycle.

I don't get that warm now I'm lucky to get to 76f my 1000w is trying to heat the whole basement and its doing its best. My low is around 64f and I'm going to have to veg longer to keep my veg room warm. I'm now on 18hrs but as soon as I shut off my hps I'll go to 20 hs and lights off through 4 hrs in the morning after everything else comes on.

Its helped add color to some of my girls though, the low temps at night bring that out but I don't think they swell as much...so I gain pretty and lose bulk....

Thanks I try to remember all my mistakes and tricks but am too old lol.
Ya the app for the temp/hummy read outs save me from running up and down stairs to check em.
I kept the PPM down cause I know the soil has some nutes in it.
A couple of plants had a few burnt leaves on the lower part.
Mostly everything is running smooth.
I got a blackout tarp and a blanket over my tent, plus a curtain over the doorway.
This Vivosun tent, I have, has a lot of leaks where the zippers are so I turn off all lights at night
incase wifey creeps down there to get something. I got 3 or 4 timers running everything so it's
almost automated. I only have to feed the tank once or twice a week.
Tomorrow I will be putting in 5 gal of 500 PPM 5.8 PH water in there.
Just cutting back the Cal-Mag from 2.5 ml per gal to 1.25 per gal.

I was trying out a suggestion from someone and it's interesting to see what happens and what cost cutting it could do for me.
Right now with no steam on it's 78° F and 48% hummy which would be perfect for vegging.
I will re-attach the exhaust duct to the chimney later as i don't want to get things to wet at night when the lights are off and temp is down.

Takes me a year to figure out a new phone, this one is an upgrade from the last one I had.
I got on a free program years ago cause I don't use my phone much. Back then it was 300 mins free
and unlimited texting. I got this iphone after I lost the old junky brick I had.
Cost $180 (used iphone 10 xl) through the free phone comp. (assurance) Then they upp'ed everything to unlimited.
So I pay nothing to use it and that's about what it's worth to me as much as I do use it.
I like my PC, I do almost everything from banking to paying bills on it, to playing a game if I want to stop thinking about things.

Watching For Males
That is my main worry as they mature.

Up'ed the PPM to 550 today, PH is 5.8.
Put in another 5 gal of nutes (Tank holds 12 gal.).
They are feeding well.
The lux is 38-55k depends on where the plant is 55k is center.
They all are praying to the light god so that's good in my book.
Very bushy and I like that too.

Some random pic's of my stuff.
Spider Farmer 6" inline fan w/temp an humi control an programible controller.
I got a 4" one too.
IMG 4193
IMG 4200

IMG 4191

Control Center looks like spegetti but I know where they all go, I think.
Some go to the veg tent that I just left plugged in.
I use shot glasses to put the nutes into before I draw them into the measureing syringe.
IMG 4187

MarsHydro FC4800 LED this was my most expensive purchase ($569 at the time, I think ) but was worth it.
I really like this light but would get a SF light, if this one failed or was spent.
But unless I have a dif setup I would have to buy one the same size, measurement wise.
Cause it barely fits in the 4x4x62 tent, cause at the top the roof slants to a peak.
The SF UV lights I brought ($69) hanging below near center are a pain to hang cause it's not a SF light so have to use the hangers provided and the clips are not strong enough to hold them very well. I ended up tieing them to the light.
IMG 4190

All doing well as can be. The only sorta problem is I cannot raise them up with a crate very easy so they are all dif lengths away from the light.
A couple inches dif, not anything to worry about right now.

Nice and green, they're looking good, I like my veg humidity up in the 60% range specially when they're young. This time of the year I have to add humidity, My closet would be 50% as it is in the rest of the basement so I've a small humidifier running with lights on.
I pulled a Quebec Blast today and I'll hang it in my 3x3 with my good humidifier keeping it around 60%, there's not much I can do about the temp, it's house temp - a few degrees but its all I got.....a self contained dry box would be nice,,,,,,I looked online and a good small one was around $45.000.00 a bit out of my range...lol

I've spaghetti wiring as well, but I took a piece of white cardboard and drew out where my wires and extension were all going to and I was able to eliminate some extensions and rearrange my timers. I helped me see the big picture. I had wires crossing from one side of my basement to the other and back again. Add this add that run a cord here add a splitter 2 timers for 2 lights with the idea I'll get to that later...Later finely showed up and I've drew it out and fixed it...well 85% still wires going everywhere but I now know to where they go and to whom they belong.

Yes I like mine at 60% also, but usually can't get it that high. The temp and humi on the controller is from morning when the lights came on and
I get dif humi's on that compared to the other digital reader half way up the tent.
They are 1 week into flower as of today.
Thinking of using my scrog, not sure yet.
Man I have to add 6-8 gal. of water/nutes to the tank already.
They drink like they in a desert.
Raising it to 600 PPM.
I have to unhook all the veg tent wiring to see how I can consolidate that stuff.
Good idea about the cardboard. I went over it last week and eliminated 1 extension.
So far my easiest grow with very little problems.
I found my light has two switches one for on/off and one does something else lol.
I finally found a page that exlplained it but found i need bot;h on and the dimmer all the way up.
18 inches above the plant canopy the lux is between 55k and 45k from center to outside edges.

Ya, how do you like the auto pot grow so far? it looks like a cleaner system than I use but I guess I'm afraid of automation and its taken me so long to learn soil....ah...well...I don't think I'll be trying to learn a whole new game.......I'll watch you...that'll do it for me ...like kids you don't have to raise,,,fun fun fun...then offs ya go....see ya next time....lol

i like it........so far.
I had two 3.9 gal. pots growing last grow and it did ok but........
I was tinkering to much with steering the crop.
Messed around to much with light and timer changes and practically
ruined the whole crop. Ended up with some soft light airy buds and mal forned ones too.
I think I was ok with the nutes but would have to look back on that to be sure.

This time without the distraction of the regular feed pots I am enjoying this much more.
I use Dyna-Gro products cause they are cleaner looking and won't mess up the valve system.
So far no root problem with that either.
(The roots are contained in the pot using skirts that cover the bottom of the pot
and prevent them from growing into the valve system)
Right now there is Three 3.9 gal. pots and Four 2.2 gal. pots in my 4x4x6 roof tent.

Strains
2 Strawberry Banana
2 Cherry Pie
2 Durban Poison
1 Wedding Cake

Dyna-Gro (At 600 PPM 1st wk of flower, PH 5.5 - 5.8 That is the suggested PH for this type of grow, it says.)
Pro-Tekt (5ml or 1 tsp.)
Foliage-Pro (5ml or 1 tsp.)
Mag-Pro (1.25ml or 1/2 tsp.)
Zyme (5ml or 1 tsp.)
Bloom (not using yet)

Tips that I read and use;
I also use .4ml per gal. of Drip Clean to keep the valves clean and working proper.
I also have a water pump in the res tank to mix nutes and keep them mixed
with a timer set to run for an hr every 6 hrs.

(Not sure why I don't use Dyna-gro Grow but will next time)
I will also use, maybe instead of Bloom, KoolBloom.
I cannot use any Re-Charge or Fish Fertilizer either. (I think it would plug up the valve and cause flooding)

I have 3 3.9 gal. pots and 4 2.2 gal. pots all attached to one 12 gal reservoir feeder tank.

The Pro's
No run off to get rid of after feeding.
Easy feeding, they all get the same amounts.
Pretty much set it and forget it.

The Con's
Any leaks or flooding if a hose gets seperated. (Had one flood because of a loose hose, last grow.)
Roots growing into the valve area. (Has not happened yet.)
If one plant is in need of extra food or less food (Has not happened yet but if it did I would either
inject more nutes in the base of the pot or would clamp off the feeding hose and put in plain water, at the base, for a while.)
So far I've had 0 problems with any of the Con's (knock on wood)
You cannot space the 2.2 gal. pots apart as much as you would like to, as they are attached by 2's.
(it would help if I had a bigger growing space)

I have two 2.5 gal pails that I fill, measure in the nutes and ph it before dumping it in the res. tank
So in a nutshell I go down and check on em once a day.
If more nute/water is needed I dump in 1 or 2 pails of it and I'm done.
I check the light every few days to see if it needs raising, if so, I raise it.
That's it!
With the phone app I have that monitors Temp and Humi I could wait 2 or 3 days before checking.

And when I check the res tank for Ph to see if it drifted, which it does, usually higher so I put a lil PH down in
PPM usually doesn’t change much.
If up I add plain water if down I add Foilage Pro until flowers show then I would add Bloom,

Everything is going smooth here.
Easy Peasy Lemon Squeesy

600 PPM, PH is at 5.8, no water leaks and plants look healthy.
7 plants are drinking bout 2.5 gallons a day.
I am dreading raising the light to full height, it will be tricky because of the tight space.
I will probably take out some of the pots to make room to maneuver since
this tent has a front and a side entry but no back entry and that side entry is against the wall.
Minor problems.

This Sunday (tomorrow) will be the 2nd week in flower.
They are starting to stretch. LST will be coming up shortly.
Ditching the scrog idea because of no room.
Checked each one for MALES but happy happy joy joy no males!
They all look female after a thorough search.
I will check again next week to be sure.

Lots of foliage, the canapy looks good!
No leaf problems at all.
Looks like some early flowering going on.
So far this is my easiest grow!
By Golly I think I got it together this time!!!

I seen a few potential problems after checking for light leaks
yesterday. Taped em up (electrical tape) and
put extra carboard on the cellar window in the grow room.
I never know when wifey will do laundry at 6am and turn on all the cellar lights haha.

Still following this chart (Foliage Pro is same as Grow)

FeedChart

While down there I took some pics.

Oh ya looking good, they're all nice and healthy. Canopy looks great! don't hit them too early with extra potassium, I screwed up this grow by adding Kool Bloom at 2 weeks and I should have waited 1 more, I stunted them and they're not looking healthy...I'm blaming it on that anyways.......and a grey beard moment!

I'm going to toss the 2 strains I'm having issues with Gelato,, a heavy sticky smoke but 3 tries and only 1 under my hps came out nicely. & GG #4 same thing I can grow them under hps but I'm killing them under the led's......I've 4 clones ...2 of each growing well but I need to make room for a few new stains I'm growing now.

I'll keep an eye on that, next feed, which should be in about 2 days.
I am using Dyna Gro Bloom (3-12-6) 1 tsp per gal. right now. Won't use Koolbloom (2-44-28) for another 3-4 weeks ( That stuff is powerfull ).
I have an extra 12 gal tank to use if I have to dump the feed water to change the mix if it gets drastic.
So far I'm having an easy time of it........."knock on wood"

To bad about the Gelato, never grew it or tried it but ya had me at heavy sticky, lol
I grew some GG a while ago and just dug up some the other day, wowy, it was really good smoke almost couch lock :)

I made a batch of cookies today and decided to get on the puter and post some stuff......not a good idea lol
I burnt the whole batch, damm was I mad, but after wifey took me to the store and made another, which came out perfect!
I tried one out and was a nice mellow high 😎 yippeee ki-yay

I've still never been high on eatables......We make gummy's and my wife eats 3 @ 8:30 pm....its lights out for her around 11 she's drowsy giggly and sleepy, she sleep through the night now...Before she started eating them she was awake half the night, uncomfortable, irritable and a bit bitchy....er.......lol.....The other day I said fk it and I ate 6 of them....zippo.....nothing more than my daily high....slight headache even.......Do I need to eat 12??? fk I'd be sick of the gummys by then..

Every now and then we get this syrup called cannlean.. its a small 1000mg bottle of knock out juice for her. she takes 5ml at a time 1 tsp and out she goes same thing 11 pm shes a stumbling giddy, I call her pliable. $45 and it last about 2 weeks.....I wonder if I need a bottle to try and get high off it........I don't want to just try 1/2 and it not do anything.....that's just a waste......I don't want to take so much I go loony....er....or worse...lol
