One BBQ washing machine mishap and my cred goes up in smoke......This thing is going to be like my glue gun, I can't turn it on without burning myself at least once. There's going to be a learning curve on how to manipulate the whip hot glass smoothly. I need a hanger for the whip, I dropped it onto the floor last night while filling the bowl, I was lucky the glass elbow hit my foot otherwise I'd be looking for new parts today.

Sounds like you are enjoying it. Do you think the buzz is the equivalent of smoking it? Is it easy to empty and reload the bowl? I don’t have the same kind as you. Your sounds more complicated.

Yes the buzz seemed good I'll know better in a bit, It works well but it does get hot. The black part of the bowl we're supposed to hold is still hot....not burning hot but it would be uncomfortable to hold for long. It comes with a cute glass stir stick that cleans the bowl easily to refill. With the whip reloading the bowl is easy just awkward to deal with the hose & glass elbow. It takes some space to keep everything tidy and my dirty keyboard is not a clean enough location to rest it on. I'll make a hook or something to dangle it on while I'm not smoking.

I have a guy I deliver oxygen to who has a rough time even on a smoky day during fire season. Lungs are shot. When he told me, he vapes through a volcano, I decided to give it a try. If it allows him to partake, It’s got to be a lot easier on the lungs. But I didn’t want to cough up 500 bucks for a volcano. You better look into getting some spare glass parts. I’m sure they are available.

IMO, Volcanos are over-rated. While I can't complain about the quality of the vapor, it's impractical if you're the only one vaping. For groups, it's great.

I made one with a digital heat gun and copper parts. Then a paper tube and oven bag. Used it for two years off/on. Just a pain to get it all out.

You guys save the vaped weed when done? We just started using it in box brownie mixes. Great with tea before bed.

Usually use leaves and some fresh bud for tea. Purple leaves, butter, stick of cinnamon...mmmm.... again more of a bedtime thing. Eatables don’t really work for me but this is okay.

Thought about it. But made some butter a few weeks ago. About 2 1/2 pounds of it. Only use two or 3 tablespoons to make a batch of brownies. Going to have to freeze some of it. Pipe Carver makes edibles all the time.

We use 20g of vaped bud in one brownie batch. Also used half old vape and half pulp from tea once. Both good but more buzz from pulp and vape batch.

We like it because you don’t need to make butter or anything first. Dust dump it in after a fine grind.

Might as well try and get everything you can out of it instead of just throwing it away. We used an ounce of decarbed Bud per pound of butter. Long story short came out to about 40 or 50 mg per brownie. Half of one is more than enough for my lightweight ass. there are conversion tables on the web that will put you in the ballpark of milligrams per batch of butter based on the estimated THC con tent of the weed you are making out with.

Thats what it looks like after I dump it out...it looks decarbed as I sit here sucking on this whip. .....I see its not the cloud that's important at all. I have this thing in my mouth using it as an air line....Who needs oxygen? 200 is good This thing could become addictive....lol......I don't have to put it down.....hot fker to deal with stoned though. Don't grab the wrong end of the glass bowl by mistake...Not quit enough to blister but yep its fking hot.

Once the trichomes have been evaporated what's left? I don't understand how there can be enough left to get anything out of it....It looks okay, I kinda expected it to be black but it just looks kinda roasted,

That’s what I thought. But I wondered if it was good enough tor tea. Looked into it and found that vaping only “burns” off the oils and moisture. What’s left is still in the matter. I did a test by burning some in a pipe before cooking with it.

I’m sure the cooler your vape the better the leftovers but I’d rather vape it good first. 💨😆
