Yeah im not helpful with that, still working on perfecting it. My temp is always to high, like 72, sometimes higher. I need to get it to 58-60 but my wife gets pissy and yells cause "its to fucking cold!"

So sometimes i can get away with 68 but she still complains 😑 fkn southerns...
lol i try and get away with 68 too my fiancé is always cold 🙃

okay between 70 temp and 60% humidity?
everybody kinda does it different..
yes i take off all leaves before chopping down, once all leaves are off i cut off branches too hang..
than when trimming/removing buds there’s less handling and buds getting knock around damaging trichomes..
i don’t really trim much maybe a jar full for friends as i make hashish and oil.. so all goes into pails to cure.
okay i will try it that way this time
You can but, again, up to you. I do it that way more out of habit as that was the way I was taught but it does tend to stay wet a little longer than if I break it down off the main stem before I hang it. I do it this way also because I've gotten pretty good at it after all this time so I can spot when something is going south quickly and correct course. For you it would be advisable to break it down off the main stem and hang the individual branches so that you reduce the chances of mold.

It usually takes around a week from the day I cut the plant down and hung it for it to be ready to be broken down into branches. The hung branches will take around a week to get to where they need to be and you can figure around another couple weeks in the jar before they're at minimum ready to smoke.

Some like to remove all the flowers off the branches upon harvest and spread them out on a drying net. This is also a viable method.

GNicks way is also a great way to harvest your flower in an easy, orderly way.

As long as you understand the mechanics behind it any method can work.
okay this makes sense my try it in the pot before cutting. but yeah i saved you explanation of it so if i need a reference back to it i can.

Tell her..."But Babe...the Weed?"

Make sure nothing that can be thrown at you is within reaching distance.....
The last time i said that she told me "you don't need to freeze dry it, you just need to dry it"
she hates the cold, 72 in my bedroom right now and shes in a sweatshirt and wrapped in a blanket.... crazy.

i hate the cold and love the heat..
my drying room is a cold storage room and i have all the equipment needed for perfect drying curing conditions.. seems like it was built for it..
My computer office was perfect for the first two but the third dried to quick. Humidity & temp went out of whack over night. Took q-tips taped to the jar lids with a drop of water to fix over time. Gave most of that grow away.

Mines in scrubs all day with a hoody at work and almost the same at home. Always to cold. Won’t turn up the heat. Just complain and have a blanket beside the chair. 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

But then she does put up with my 💩

morning everyone,

here’s some pics from this morning.

To use CO2 effectively you need to have a sealed room. Tents are the opposite of a sealed room! 😄

That's one of the reasons I looked into and then decided against it. I guess you could make it work but it would be way to much work for this lazy gardener!

i didn’t know that lol still i think it give them some co2

It probably did but CO2 needs to be present in high concentrations CONSISTENTLY to really make any impact. The fact that you have as much air running through your tent would remove any chances of CO2 making any real difference unless you were able to somehow seal the tent and inject the CO2 into it for long enough for the plants to take advantage.

What I've seen some people do is turn off their exhaust fans and turn on their CO2 injection system and fill the room with CO2. They'd leave it like that for a day then exhaust out whatever remained to refresh the room air and start again the next day. The standard at the time for CO2 room maintenance was around 1200ppm. The air we breathed back then had around 320ppm of measurable CO2. Today that number is hovering around 420ppm.

Afternoon everyone!

here’s some pics from today. soil looks really dry and the bag feels light may need another feeding possibly on friday or saturday. use the same as last time right? also that next monday the 13th it will be 13 weeks do i wait another week till monday the 20th? or will the 13th be the last week and should i still feed it this friday if it’s going to be done monday?
