Tonight’s update:

The buds are really starting to take shape and lots of beautiful pistils all over.

Fed the girls tonight. Usual mixture plus some flower stacker.

In veg I did fox farm big bloom and grow big, then around the last week or so of veg, I switched to Humboldt’s Secret base A, base B, and golden tree.

They’re more expensive than fox farms (at least the golden tree), but I like them a lot better.

I also toss in a dose of Orca every few feedings.

Tonight’s update:

The buds are really starting to fill out now that I’m halfway through week 5.

And I got some colored leaves last night:

My pellet stove ran out, and I didn’t fill it all day, so it got to the low/mid 60’s last night in the basement, so I’m assuming that’s what triggered the purple coloring.

Nightly update:

Still looking good. The aroma when I stick my head in is super strong now. Idk if it’s because I haven’t been going in as often, or if they’re just full of stank, but regardless, it smells great.

Looks like the leaves got more purple. I’m guessing it’s the genetics as my basement didn’t get below 70F last night. I’m kind of excited to see these colors!

Still doing their thing. They look happy and well fed (which I did just a few minutes ago).

The purple coloring got a little further on some fingers, but I think that might be all she does as not much has changed in the last few days. She does look pretty with those colors though.

Tonight’s update:

More or less the same as before, but she got more purple

I’m going to assume it’s the temp as I’ve been letting it get cooler at night since I don’t have to heat the house as much since we’re warming up for spring. They were prob in the low 70’s most of the day (it’s 74 in there now), so likely high 60’s at night.

They’ll need a feeding tomorrow.

Just finished week 5 and now I’m heading into week 6

Idk if it’s genetics or temps, but she got a lil more color

Silver Alert (purple lady):

Pretty frosty, pistils are turning a nice orange/amber color, and they’re starting to get fat.

White widows (all 3 plants):

Also very frosty, not as many amber pistils yet, but they’re doing just swell.

And lastly, the Lucid Dreams x Hells Kitchen:

Also really frost, and I’d say pistil colors are between where the White Widows are at and the Silver Alert.

Snipped a few leaves off that were damaged (seems to be from the tent sides touching + fan as it’s only in that one spot).

Some light burn on the edges, so I turned it down a smidge. If it continues then I’ll lower it some more.

Todays update:

A few leaves have started showing some discolorations over the last few days. Gotta do a bit of research to see what the cause is (feel free to offer any insight), but I’m not too concerned since I only have about 2-3 weeks left.

One of my humidifiers died and the humidity got up to 80% last night. Hopefully that doesn’t do any harm (would’ve been for less than 8 hours). It’s back down to 50-53% now.

Other than that, they seem to be going well still.

Daily update:

Starting to get some leaf discoloration here and there, as you can see in the front on the lower part of the canopy.

Other than that, they’re looking good still. I added some calmag and iron nutrients in their last feeding, so hopefully that helps a little bit.

I’m not too worried since I’m heading into week 7 tomorrow, so only another 2 weeks (give or take). From my other 2 grows, this seems fairly normal at this point in the grow.

Daily update:

Week 7 is starting off with a bang.

I just got done feeding them, and after I realized I had the fan on full speed and not variable, I was able to correct my humidity levels (they weren’t off too much - but never got above 51% and went through the entire humidifier reservoir in less than a day - now it’ll take longer since it won’t be running constantly).

I dimmed the lights a bit as well. The top leaves of the silver alert has started curling, so before it becomes a bigger issues, I’ll just dial it back now.

makesure to lower the nitrogen to a minimum from here on out..
too much nitrogen at the end can cause negative effects to terpenes.. don’t blast them with too much light intensity from here till finish also..
