Have you tried to diffuse the light for the auto yet?
I just saw another thread last night where OP looked to be burning their plant up with a Ts 600 .
🤷‍♂️
I raised it probably 6 more inches with wire instead of the included hanging parts... I'm going to find some screw hooks and remove the shelf to see if I can get it higher. Seriously over this stupid plant lol.

I hear ya, outdoor is my forte...clearly, judging by this thread and my sad sad auto. 🤣 I preventative spray all through veg and even early flower being careful to ony get the leaves... because I have all the pests.
Me too, outdoors is like releasing the girls from captivity and letting them go run freely without bounds. Kinda like opening the bird cage and letting them out ! Haha and then there’s the Sun 🌞 ! The free beautiful Sun 😎 I used to start my girls indoor around April and set them out slowly. By the time flower hits they would have had just about five months of veg ! They were always Huge 🎄 and way too obvious in my location , so now I wait till July 4th 💥.
TDS I am sure you would do fantastic indoors it like growing bonsai’s just takes practice. I am constantly screwing up but I am never fighting mold inside. Indoors it’s easier to “play “ with the girls and do more fine tuning because your not at the mercy of the weather. I love them both, inside during early winter and through til April. Then stop and go crazy looking at all the seeds just waiting to pop 🤪 until July!

Yeah I think I'd do fine with a proper set up and photos instead of autos... but the electricity is ridic.

Seriously over this stupid plant lol.
The lack of control and my own personal skill set led me to the same thought on autos.
I'll quote myself from last year for those who did not read my thread and final thoughts on autos.
I grew them outdoors in NYS in an open greenhouse with photos. These guys were never even exposed to rain!
My thoughts on autos outdoors;
NEVER AGAIN ! I have never had bud rot until autos.
I guess that is what happens when plants flower in the most humid time of year. 🤔
The photos in the greenhouse are all unaffected by pest or bud rot.🤔

Remember when many grow their autos outdoors that when they flower will be the most humid time of the year for us up here.
Waiting longer to start them makes them the same effort as photos as the season declines IMO.
I am sure much like anything else there is a learning curve we could both overcome. Others have. 🤷‍♂️
I have learned to be happy to if I can manage a grow with out all the drama.

Yeah I think I've come to the conclusions that I should stick to what I know. I could have bout twice as much smoke than this dumb thing will ever produce for the same money and less stress lol. Luckily I only did it for something to.do, but now that it's taking my attention and space from my outdoor babies, I'm getting annoyed. I just took out the shelf and hung the light from screw hooks. It's like 4.5 feet away from the canopy, which seems ridiculous to me?

Wow that distance does seem ridiculous ! My light currently is only 16” away 🤔 It’s a Spider 2000, though it has a dimmer, it’s set at 100% for the remaining 2-3 weeks.

Yeah I dunno, just trying to rule out light stress I guess? But I really don't think it's that, I think I just fucked up feeding and shit went off the rails.

Thank God that has never been an issue for me outside, at least not yet. I hate spray of any kind. I have released beneficial bugs into indoor grows to deal with unwanted vultures but that’s kinda hard to do outdoors.

I get it steamroller, the best results I have gotten from outdoor autos is setting them in and out, in and out starting in April. Then in June before the real heat hits in July/Aug an entire crop is done.
Indoors I have a crappie spot to grow with a low ceiling of 4ftish , so the lower height of auto’s works well for me. Only big problem I have indoors is Smell ! Growing reg’s I start running at 12/12 right at popping trying to keep the height down. Plus auto’s give me more freedom to grow a shitload of varieties without worrying so much about controlling their height. A person can only burn so much herb (at least me) that I end up with soooo much that jars n jars fill up pretty fast and sometimes I’m working on stuff a couple years old ! So I don’t look for quantity anymore just tokens of variety now 😎

You would think so right? 🤣 I'm really good at overthinking shit and making things harder than they need to be.
I already started my outdoor ladies like 2 weeks ago. Don't even know if I'll be doing that though because my husband is having his yearly panic attack about me doing it.
A yearly panic attack, does he not smoke with you? Or are you in an illigal state? I can understand if your in an illigal state bc even though weed is perfectly legal in my state you can only grow 3 plants hardly worth doing a photoperiod grow so that's why I run autos, but get caught growing outdoors jail! So if your in a legal state maybe a Xanax would help, but if you're in an illegal state he loves you and does not want to see you arrested is all. Anyway good luck either way.

You can have 3 mature and 3 immature plants at the same. It’s most definitely viable to grow photos here, so I’m not sure why you think it’s hardly worth it (and not sure why you’re only saying half of law here - which is the same in regards to plants for both medical and rec growers).

Lol, no he smokes, it's just the stigma he's really worried about w our kid were anyone uncool find out and make it a thing. I'm in NY... so semi legal, still don't think it's technically legal to grow yet, but I take laws as strong suggestions lol.

The law reads legal to grow 18 months after the first sale at a rec dispo... which is so fucking random lol... I think we're a couple months out from that yet... Not sure exactly because again, don't particularly care lol... he's ex law enforcement so he doesn't share my laissez-faire attitude on many things... but he's getting there lol.

Yeah I don't either. It doesn't look like light stress and I know I fucked with shit too much. Always good to raise it when they're doing shitty anyway though I guess. Probably drop it like a foot though, that's too high.

I'm honestly just over it. I want to focus on my actual crop and it's a real pain in the dick maintaining 2 redneck setups with different humidity in the same room.

I mean... I've gotten 2.5 pounds off one plant, outside obviously, so I'd say it's def worth it... you can get pretty good yields with a scrog indoors with photos too...

We pulled 7lbs off 1 plant so yes definitely worth it but like I said if in your state it's illegal and you get caught and go to jail is it really worth that? We can smell our outdoors grows a 1/4 of a mile away when the wind blows. And if your in a red state you can still get years for possession of a few ozs let alone a few lbs they will nail you on a trafficking charge. And now that my state is now legal it's cheaper to walk 3 min and just buy it. No wonder he has panic attacks, but in the end you do you and stay safe.
