Soaking for 25 days or so on a dark-ish shelf. Tried some this morning and Im impressed - good flavor and strength so far.
I didnt add any other flavors but the Vg is sweet and the weed smell is already strong.
Decent high - little kick to the sinuses, but not super strong yet.
Ive heard its supposed to soak for 60 days so I hope it will continue to improve.

Could you imagine how much this much this would cost at a dispensary? This is more than 200 cartridges, crazy.

Yeah I'm gonna have to try that. I went to a festival and got some distillate , guy told me how to mix into my vape / e- juice 💚 I was like , no shit really. Hell yes sign me up🤣 But this way your doing would be better on my coils ! Loves it!! I vape ALot so to mix the two is double great!

Did you decarb it first? is the standard 240 for like 40 minutes adequate ? Or is there a different method of decarb for this infusion?

This time I decarbed in the oven first - I chose 20-25 minutes at 225. On the low end because terpenes burn off first at lower temps and I seem to lose alot of flavor. Last time I did the fast way - steamed the jar with juice and flower for 30 minutes.

I've been looking at making vape juice since I bought a press and making solventless rosin.

With decarbed rosin it's pretty easy, just add some vg/pg and flavor if you want and you're done.

Other option for rosin is Wax Liquidizor, just mix with decarbed rosin and your done.

No idea you could do it by the method used in this thread, pretty neat!

That’s how I make my vape carts. Super easy and takes about 15 minutes. Gram per ml of Terps and your rocking

What is "vg"? I searched the thread and couldn't find it explained anywhere. It's probably there somewhere. I just couldn't find it.

Vegetable Glycerin

PG (propylene glycol) makes flavor better, VG (vegetable glycerin) makes clouds (vapor) bigger.

When you say wax liquidizer do you mean an option like a terpenes flavor addition or an extract of sorts. Like this ?

I see , very cool. This just got a whole lot more fun and Interesting 🤣 I can't wait to experiment now! Gonna have to def try that out!

I don't decarb as a separate step. I break bud up. mix up a jar of 75/25 vg/pg. Mix the bud in with the vg/pg and let it set for a hour. Then put it in a hot water double pan setup at 140F until the vg/pg mixture get to 140F then pull it and let it steep for 30 days. Then filter with bruckner filter and lab paper. Then flavor up however I want, let it set another 7 days. Then put it in a sub-ohm or rda rig. A few rips and I'm gone. I make a lot of my own vape juice so I have all the flavor stuff. I use a 1/2 oz of weed to a quart of vg/pg to make rocket fuel ass kicking juice. If I want a sweeter base juice I use Palm base vg. If I want a more neutral base I use regular veggie base vg. I'm sensitive to pg so sometimes I make juice with as little as 10 or 15 percent pg. I give a lot of my juice away to my adult daughters and close friends. Some cut it more with over the counter vape juice,,, some don't. Most vape it out of a sub-ohm rig. And never complain.

So - curing for 60 days now, and its not much stronger than it was at 15 or 20 days (maybe a little)
Defenitly not as intense as regular dispensory product - not as much sinus burn or cough. But as im typing this i realize - its creeps up on you, like a very strong edible high.
Flavor is good but ill try adding some others next time. Probably do a stronger mix next harvest - 1/2 ounce to 4oz juice maybe?

Hey if anyone has tried using the altafuse to make a concentrate and then converted that into a decent vape juice please let me know. I’m new here so if I don’t get back to y’all right away I’m still learning the platform.

I’d like to make the purest/highest potency shatter and add it to a vape juice with a little bit of nicotine that has no weed smell at all.

I think it can be done using the ultrasonic method. I don’t have the altafuse yet but will soon.

BTW I quit smoking cigarettes and started vaping around 2013. Started making my own nic vape juice about 8 years ago.

Any advice would be great

I dont understand why decarbing is required when this will be a vape juice. I have have only decarbed weed once. And that was to be able to add raw bud to smoothies.

As with any other concentrate, why does the heat from vaporizing not decarb the juice?

I’ve tried making my own vape mixes in the past, but I never quite managed to get the right balance. Some mixes would hit too harsh, others too weak, and I’d end up with a lot of trial and error. You can try Elfbar, I discovered it recently and it was a game-changer. It gave me that smooth, consistent hit without all the hassle of mixing and steeping my own juices. The flavors are spot on, and it’s been much easier to enjoy without worrying about whether the mix will turn out right.
