Alright so we officially got some pre flowers 16 days from flip and the stretch has got me feeling very good. Literally bursting with excitement lol

Seedlings are looking good too. Already way healthier than when the plants in flower got put in the tent so we are learning something haha

not getting any feedback on any of my posts on here, but using this thread to post my grow updates from here on out. so make fun of me, give me advice, tell me a knock knock joke, something.

day 14 in tent
18/6
10 ml fox farm grow big/ gal
4ml cal mag/ gal
.5 ml bio rhizotonic

been phing the water between 5.8 to 6.2 but trying to figure out what they want

getting a little yellowing on a few of the plants dont know if i hit them too hard with nutes too early or if it was from the lights so i bumped them up a few inches.
Roast it? Youll need a better light for that, noob.

Did a final defol day or two ago as today is three weeks since the light change. Got rid of all those sucker branches that I have such a hard to giving up on lol

Featuring these new saucers I got from the friggen dollar store. Mint they got little wheels underneath. Shit you not they sell these at the hydro store near me for twelve dollars a piece. $1.33 unba.
Plants starting to give off some nice smells.

Cheers!

I love the grow. We'll done
Question for you.
Are you trimming growth below 3rd Node from Tip of main cola? And why do you keep so many fans on them? Just curious Questions if you don't mind. Canopy blockage from main large fans, reduces yields, quality and density, in my experience, so am only asking for personal educational feedback.
As you can see on my little girl here, i hack my Main Fans off and allows all the light to penetrate the entire plant with some LST during its 1.5month veg cycle. I used to keep fans on my plants till i experimented with last 5 grows doing half less trim half full prune and results are 1.5 lbs better pruned hard during transition. This allows my bud sites to push sugars, canaboids, nutrients to each site much better. Also only like top 3 nodes + cola to grow keeping undercarriage picked clean of growth. It also helps Push all the love to the flowers and less popcorn nuggs.lol

To tell you the truth I’m still figuring out my system. This is my second grow and I had a plant that Hermed in my first grow although I was still working on controlling my environment, growing cheap bag seeds etc. I also trimmed like all the fan leafs in like the third week of flower so this time i left a lot on. I’m one of those people that has to see things to understand themso this time I leaned on the side of leaving a lot more fan leaves.

I do appreciate the advice and as they are starting to bud I find myself plucking leaves that block bud sites.

I’m just trying to figure it out day by day haha

But I did just go through and lollipop them pretty hard if you scroll up a few pics. And I’m moving a lot of air just to keep from mold or anything with it being too thick. I’m constantly over thinking these things lmao

That's not a bad way to learn and I understand completely.. I did allot of silly things that today I think are silly, but the time thaught I knew what I was doing lmao 9nce flower cycle starts, we have 2 weeks to keep things ship shape with trimming pruning, after that, we don't touch them and I reduce the Air circulating fans by 1 speed so the flower has less stress to develope. Those will turn out good tho so no worries. Next grow you start, do 2 or more same genetics and try different methods, lolly pop, scrogg, lst, hst, hard prune ligjt prune, hard trim, light trim, and see the results when harvesting. You can definitely see the differences between the techniques, then you can focus on what You like and Improve on that technique for fatter heavier denser buds. Its always nicer to have a few colas grow massive than a bunch of smaller buds. Just sayn lol keep up the good grow

Thats good tho, I'm sure you'll do fine.
As long as you have Air flow Under and above canopy, keep things thin for light and air movement, watch you VPD and mold wond be a issue at all. Mold must have a humidity above 65 temp around 24°c and above to form with dead hot pockets in the canopy. The best way to know if you have a VPD issue is 2 ways.
1 rub your hand along tent walls and cieling, is it wet?
2 take your hand using the Back of your hand, brush the underside of the leaf of the plants. Is it wet? If it's wet, you need more Circulation fans and passive intake needs opened more. The temp and humidity range should be maintained to prevent high vapor in tent. My rule if thumb for me is, low and high limits
Day Lights on Veg 24°c 60%hmd
Nnight lights off 16°c 50% hmd
Flower 20°c 50% hmd day light on
Flower 16°c 50% hmd night light off
I use Dr.Greenhouse VDP app for fast efficienct calculation of my VPD LvPD.
I also have a 99% automated system i put together with limit switches and sun rise sunset mode for lights. So I have lots of help and data I can refer to on the fly at any moment to make manual adjustments. Took me 4 years to get here lol..
Hope this was informative

For sure man I appreciate it all and hopefully I’ll be there soon!

been scared because i hermed a plant last time but definitely will do one more defol and lollipop in the next week or so. thank you!
30% at a time over 2 weeks if photo when pruning and not past 4 weeks start flower or the shock will turn them Hermi, over feeding can cause hermi, temp flux 2° + over max temp can turn hermi, another grower within 1 mile growing outdoor males can Cause Hermi. Just some of the reasons they can go hermi..
