I deal with high humidity where I live. I have 2 in my lung room, in week 4 of flower and my humidity stays around 50-55% I need a good quality dehumidifier to put inside my 4x4, looking for a nice one will spend 200-300$. (Yes I’ve tried a smaller one in my grow tent and did not help at all)

I never considered an in tent dehu became of the need to constantly change air in flower. I started growing in a large basement so the humidity was always low and adding was always easier. Now I am in a small room in the large basement and I got a 70 pint dehumidifier for the basement and a smaller one for the lung room. This allows me 3 humidity zones
Basement set to anywhere from 40 to 55. Lung room set 5% below tent requirements ( this changes through the grow )
And tent humidity with a thermoforge.
The 70 pint per day has a lift pump that can move the water 16 feet and the dehu in the room has a gravity hose going through a wall in the lung room into the acoil drain sump for the house AC.
70 pint per day with lift pump.
As far as a dehuey in a 4x4 I am pretty sure the transperation rate from 4 plants will far exceed a small dehumidifier. I think you should concentrate on the lung room.
My 2 cents

I have a window unit in my lung room to keep good temp, my humidity in my lung room is staying at 35% but my tent will not drop below 55% maybe because I have a c02 bag hanging in it?

Do not know much about CO2 other than anything below 1200 ppm is a waste of effort. What kind of duct out of the tent are you running? With a 35% lung room only air transfer should be required to dial it in. If you dump to much heat with this let's talk and get that part fixed.

T7 Cloudforge is probably the best if you are running a tent with AC Infinity gear because of the controller but something like this is probably gonna work a bit better as a standalone unit

He is going the other way 😎

Hey bud use you post you made. That way there is a record for the next grow bro to find. Not pms
Let me know what your duct system is and how you control the air leaving the tent. If you do not have one just say so bro.

I do, I have 16 feet of duct for my 4x4 maybe that has something to do with it

I have the exhaust going out the top of the tent, and has 2-3 turns in it so maybe losing pressure with the turns and having 16ft of exhaust, might try just one 8ft exhaust but then I won’t be able to run it out the window

Ok is your tent and duct on any controller where you can change the speed and timing and watch the humidity changes as it happens?

Ok so you have a lung room ( outside ) at 45% and at stage 10 it is howling like a lost soul in the full moon and you are at 59%

We have identified the enemy!
First ensure that at setting 10 the duct exiting the tent should be pushing some rushing air. I suppose you have the fan on the inside of the tent and the duct running outside?
next step is to make sure your app did not come with the calibration moved from zero. This actually should not be possible in fact open the tent and let the air fall out. In 5 minutes your outside and inside temp and humidity should be much closer.

Not sure how to check the calibration, and the problem with that is I work so can’t open the tent door

Ok. You need to be at the tent to run down this problem. Do you wanna do this when you get home? I am a medically retired old dude growing pot I'm pretty time flexible.

That would be perfect, this is my first grow and I’m scared I’m going to lose my plants, yesterday marked week 4 of flower, at night my ac window unit doesn’t run as much so my humidity will stay around 40-45 which is okay, but it got warm out today and seeing my humidity at 60% scares me, also I have 1 auto oscillating fan blowing on my plants but I’m going to add a second one today underneath my plants blowing upwards. Also going to take the extra 8ft of ducting off and make sure there’s no curves in my ducting, (I’ve heard with each curve you lose 20% airflow)

And I really appreciate the help!

No problem lots of guys would help here.
Drop a time I got nothing but a jar of pot and a cat in my lap.
And please post pic of plants. Week 4 is an exciting time. Prepare for a ride. Plants get weird. Growth stops and starts. Made an error in watering week 5 one plant shut down and I did not check weight of pot and it was not ready. Boom overwatering.
But if everything goes smooth you will learn nothing. Let me look through and fine pic from week 4. Ttyl

I’ll be on at 6:30 EST, and I’ll definitely take some when I get home, I’ll try and get some good shots of the terps. I have the VIVOSUN auto watering pots and they have been doing a fabulous job, definitely recommend them. Keeps the bottom roots wet and the top damp
