Man you not messing around are you! Few questions?

Plus we been running the lights off 12v D/c Battery banks. No genarators or electric powering our lights ALL D/C POWER running inverters. Are lights are 6-1k and 6-600watt all hortilux hps with the 4ft hoods with Co2 sealed room. As of now we running 2-4x8 hydro tables with 108 each table and 60 buckets. I'm just wounding if we went the BIG PLANTS way if we would maxumize our yeilds. Any info would be thankful.

How are you recharging the batteries? With all that power, over 10kw x 12 hours a day, those batteries woud drain very quickly.

Nice work bro!! Just got done reading it all and got a few questions about spacing of your plants. Whats the spacing between plants and the spacing between bulbs? How high are those ceilings of yours? Very nice!! What kind of weight do you except to pull from a plant?

Jack, mad props man, I would like to see DD switch over to the under current system... I think he would have his best results yet and U.C. systems seem to be so fresh and so clean... I',m waiting for the 13 gallon buckets as well.... They are the future. I can't wait.. I'm going to try Paradise's Ice Cream in a 4 plant system with 5K and the 13 gallons.. What a dream setup man way to go.. Must be a lot of work but to be able to go that big with such a low plant count... Plus it's gotta be one of the most rewarding styles of growing just seeing em get so huge!

Quick question I've always wanted to try some type of NFT/KFB setup similiar to what you got going on, but I'm afraid a power outage could kill em...

How do power outages affect a setup like that? How long can you go w/o power? Couple hours, days or notat all.. I'm assuming you would need to at least power your water and air pumps with a lil genny in case of a power outage to keep everything healthy?

I'd love to try it, but I've had outages that lasted up to 3 days where I'm at so it seems risky for me.

Those are 120vac inputs on those inverters - so you charge batteries off the grid using the inverters - then invert it AGAIN to run the lights?

This makes no sense at all and would run some riduclous premium over just running the lamps off the grid.

So how in the world are you powering your grow?

D/C as i said before! You right on one thing it is a inverter but what you are missing is that it's an inverter/battery charger MEANING""" options. You would have been correct if i was using then for inverting 120 to D/C i'm NOT! They are used as battery chargers that charger the battery then the battery run TRUE sine wave inverters that power the lights from the battery that get charged back up by the CHARGER slash INVERTER. So that means I'M ONLY USE VERY LITTLE ELECTRIC to run the BATTERY CHARGER. I guess you got confussed but maybe i cleared it up for ya. Here maybe this pic will help you picture it better...... ;]
