Banana OG (Sways Cut)

Just take clip off all the buds and leave the fans and throw it under a 24 hour light cycle. It may or may not work, but its worth a shot. I have only done it once, maybe someone will chime in with a little more experience.

Do not cut off all of your buds...leave a few bottom buds and just take your main nugs. After about 3-6 weeks your start having new growth coming from those buds. The new growth is gonna look pretty funky but after a while she snap out of it. Reveggin takes a while though so be patient. You wont see much the first few weeks but new fans and shoots will start growing out of the buds.

Thanks for the clarity GDS, like I said I have only done it once but now that I think about it I did leave on some of the smaller bottom buds when i revegged an old hashplant that I had. I did take a while, like a month I think but it finally snapped out of it.

Hrmm.. sounds like it could be a good idea to reveg her afterwards. Thanks for the advice guys! My vegging chamber isnt the biggest though, so I might not have room to do it, but we'll see. Just sucks to see her clones not come through... ah well, thats life. Still trying to get my shit dialed in, this is my first run with this set up but everything is coming together.

Now on with the bud porn! This is day 24. Been feeding with organic teas weekly and she is looking great. Growth has really exploded and trich production is starting to come on full force. :rastadancing:

I sugest to leave her a little bud on the bottom and put her into 24 light. After she gets some new shoots, take a clipping or 5 or however many you can get and make soem clones . But yes, it will take her a few weeks to revert back

I thought banana og came from orgn kid..... last I heard he had a cut named that and also elite did.also sticky carries a cut of the name banana kush.. is this cut different..? It looks similar to orgn kids. Yields big smells somewhat of bananas...

This could possibly be, youd have to see if Sway chimes in on this. On the first page it states why its considered "Sways Cut". Not sure who the actual breeder of it was, just know that it was a special pheno that Sway had in his possession, gave it to a club, and then the club turned around and sold it and fucked him.

All I know is that this bitch is getting fat and stinky! Covered in resin too. Pics this weekend!

Its similar to orgnkids, but no its not his. I grew out that cut though a few runs ago and its real nice, got that from a La connection. I didnt keep it around, just flowered it out.. This cut my buddy did in Texas, banana kush male, tahoe female I believe...not the same one floating around california...this pheno was selected from 80 or so F1's... Im a big fan of it.. But like ive said before, this is not "my" cut...

Shes about 5 weeks into flower, looking really killer. Had a little bit of PM problems with her, but got them taken care of. She is right infront of my intake vent right now, sprayed her down with some baking soda, she is doing fine now.

Getting sooo fat/heavy & stinky like banana fuel kush.
Some of the side branches were being weighed down, so I had to tie them up for support.

Note: The white powder on the leaves is baking soda, NOT PM!

the Banana Kush cut, at least the one floatin around CO is not the Banana OG, its not even a OG/Kush pheno, its a more sativa dom plant, bushy as all get out, cant hold itself up even in veg. very weak stemmed plant.

buds are fluffy when dried, lots of trics, and smells real sweet, but i dont get banana with it. high is weak imo.

Thanks a lot. She is the second stickest plant that I have in my room right now, first being this purple platinum which looks like cheesy goodness. And she is seriously exploding! Great cut sway, glad I could have grown it out, can't wait for the smoke test in some weeks hehe. I see that the bottom leaves are kind of yellowing (more like a light green/yellow look) which you mentioned, not to much though, just a lighter color, doesn't like look a N def or anything. Also, she was hit the hardest with PM outta any of my plants in the tent. Probably because of how sticky icky she is. I had to hit her up good with the baking soda. Some of her hairs on the bottom side branches are starting to turn because of the high ph water that I sprayed on her for it, but thats okay, should come back just fine and swell up more still.

Stick around for the show bro! Shes lookin better and better every day. Can't wait for the final review. Shes being grown in a soilless mix of peat moss/perlite/worm castings and feeding aerated teas weekly with Age Old Organics, Cal Mag, Liquid Karma, Molasses, & Humes. They are gonna get a feeding tomorrow, gotta brew a tea up tonight. I swear they look SWOLLEN right after I feed them and put them back in the tent for a couple hours. By the next day or 2, they get STACKED. Pretty good results so far from the age old organics, but I'll see with the final weigh in in less than a month. hehe

how much molasses do you feed radical? My buddy and I disagree aobut it. I push it way heaver than he does, but he uses fox farm cha-ching. When my plants get to that stage, I just start pushing the molasses heavier. At 5 weeks I feed 2 TBL/gal week 6 3 TGL/gal and week 7 no other nutes and 4TBL/gal then nothing but water till harvest. I'm curious how much other growers use
