Thx brah! The scrog has been a lot of consistent practice and is well overdue to be flipped as soon as I install the 600W setup in the tent... Although it will def need another screen to hold the colas in place... :nod

Shady’s Round 8… Coco DTW

After a long break and the typical wipe down of the Shady Bloom Room, I decided to redo the ventilation setup. I’ve removed the 265 CFM squirrel cage fan at the ceiling and attached the 165 CFM inline 4” fan directly to the hood, and added a 4” Charcoal Carbon Filter with a max flow of 516 CFM (which I will use once the preflowers show). By eliminating flow restrictions, and placing the fan directly on the hood I was able to eliminate the larger fan and still keep the temps in check… BTW, under the reflective tape, there’s a ridiculous amount of Gorilla tape holding the inline onto the hood….

I’ll probably use those blue straps to secure the inline fan as a precaution now that I don’t need the carbon filter in the ceiling…

Well, I’ve consistently flipped nearly all my rounds the day I transplant to larger pots in an effort to prevent becoming root bound. What I’ve noticed is that my root structure at harvest is not as substantial if I had vegged for at least a week under the HPS. So this round I’ve been veggin’ for 1 ½ weeks under the HPS, starting when I transplanted to 2 gal Smart Pots with B’cuzz Coco and Chunky Perlite #4 in a 1:1 ratio. This is the first res mix and the girls were also injected with Great White and Root’s Excelurator on 9/26/10…

One question, what carbon filter did you connect to your hood? Looks like a funky HEPA-style homemade rig that I'd be incredibly interested in using. Also, I see that you're now running filter-->hood-->fan instead of filter-->fan-->hood. Any reason for this, or just weight distribution? Either way, super clean setup as always, and those 240w outlets have my mouth watering.

Sup saltr! Thx for the compliments... Well, they actually make a HEPA filter version, but I'm using the Carbon filter which is very light. I'm actually worried about the fan which is very heavy and needs a more secure attachment to the hood... :itwasntme
