Lol...the only problem I see currently, once you wipe away all of the opinions, hard work and love of growing is the lack of a solid industry. That too shall solve itself in 5-10 years, IMO so not much else to do except complain or do something positive for the overall movement.
Partial agreement............by the way I provide free meds to certin types of patients , and some of us have an informal lend lease program going , for instance I often lend out the little " Emily's Garden" hydro unit and a 400 and give 'em six clones and the nutrients , it's come back every time in perfect shape and twice the folks hoave brought brand new bulbs back with it.
Paying it forward *does* help some what..............however.............
Where I *do* disagree is as regards your specific time frame , 5 or 10 years?................Nope.
Do the math........straight from the mouth of the Humboldt county Sheriff himself ( and doing the math REASONABLY not with the fed weigh the damn rootball too and count dead sticks as plants method)......the total outdoor seizures in Calif in 2009 were...........and keep in mind he clearly states that get less than 5 percent...............ready yet? Market value at *current* prices.
S E V E N T Y B I L L I O N DOLLARS.....................
And that's just what they seized..................straight agriculture in Calif totals somewhere around 150 billion in revenue at the outside , argue if you wish but I work in the industry still .
Do the math at the 5 percent tax level and then do the math on the extrapolated total values seized AND unseized.
Hell say that 70 is actually 20 percent , that still leaves the total crop at more that TWICE all other agriculture in the Golden State combined.
THIS is why Corporate vultures and Taxmad politicos are casting their greedy damned eyes at the hippie sacrament. So in other words.......
It's Later than we think.
