Lem Chem #1-4 clones front/center.....Purple Tahoe Alien clones rear. The second pool will be planted in 7-10 days...Alien Rock Candy....Motorbreath...UberDawg....and Purple Cheddar. (gotta give them a bit more veg time) 600's above right now.... will switch to 1K's once the second bed is planted and shit starts a rockin' & settin' bud....

Was gonna drop some coco in here....but went to the store yesterday and as I bent to pick up a bag of Gold Label...the gnats started to fly..... fuckin A....

So I opted for a mix of Happy Frog...Pahroc Giant perlite....and OF. (half recycled..half new) The Foxfarm soils sure aren't perfect....but at least I never see gnats in it AT THE STORE...

Watered in with Rootamentary and EWC tea..... and off we go.,...

in my area it seems like all of the non local soils have been shit for over six months. its getting tiresome.

They are dubbled..LOL...but no drain. One of the reasons I went with the pools was 'cus I had em and they were outside the house looking junky....and more importantly...'cus I am gettin tired of watering the 2 galloners most every night. They've had quite a it of use as catch basins in a DTW system I tore down a few years ago and have been outside in the weather/sun/etc...so I merely dubbled 'em up to ensure they didn't leak.

Make that pool square with white plastic and its $100 at the grow store. Wish they made square kiddy pools!

And those $100+ trays aren't 9" deep either! Round ain't perfect and you loose a bit of space.... but they are cheap, fo' sure. Always wanted to do one of the larger..8' rounders that are 16" deep. A couple thouies... or 3 600's in a triangle would simply kill over one of those....

you could never MOVE it either...but.....hey....who's goin anywhere anyway? :D

pretty slick. i ask cause i might use a couple of these til i get my beds built. they work ok with no drainage? this seems like the epitomy of KISS if so

I haven't used pools before...but the beds I used for years here (Colorado) that I built using waterbed liners (the size of a bed!) had no drains and I did cycle after cycle in 'em...no problems.

In the end, you control the water goin in....and ya just gotta find a good balance, IMO. It's tinker-toy...but I find that one of those $12 soil moisture meters from Wally world/etc for houseplants works well to keep from overwatering /to see where the moisture levels are w/o a drain.

So you finally got PTA clones? I have one female in flower about two weeks now, still havent got a cut to root off of her. I put this plant in a seven gallon bucket early, put it in flower, fingers crossed, it would be a girl. She did hermie, but i think that was a light leak. Think I found all the nanners and havent seen one for about a week. Just had the red light from the power cord in there, heard that would do it but no other strains ever hermied because of it. The older stems didnt have male flowers, most of the new growth did though. Maybe I didnt get the tent zipper all the way closed or something. Looks good now, except I have some cal/mag issues. Last strain I ran couldnt get enough magnesium, think I'm over doing it some with the PTA. Big fan leaves, looks like one of those lem chems you got in there. Cant wait to see the pools fill in.

With all of the paleness, yellowing, and MALES I've encountered...I sure hope the fuck these outer space genetics aren't hermie prone as well. THANKS for the warning...I hadn't/haven't been checking...but will be more rigourous from here on out.

ARC #2 was also a male. ARC #3 is still in veg...yellow as a lemon....but still alive. I don't get it. Nothing else but the Alien gear is yellow/yellowed in my garden. Weird. The plants that have hit flower are righting themselves and are looking greener...but still are a bit pale. Like I said earlier tho...at least the clones are green/look OK so far.

With ARC#2 being a guy...and #3 in doubt.... gotta say this run is one of my all-time worst for males and for overall health. Started 16 seeds.... 4 PTA.... 6 ARC....6 ANOG... and the count now is 2 PTA... 3 ARC....NO ANOG. 5 females plants from 15 seeds...1 undecided. Yikes!!
WAYYYYY glad I shared seeds with bro grit 'cus between us...we might actually get a small peek. (grit saw LOTS of males as well)

Lem chems are beautiful plants. Starting the flush on those.......

hopefully just me being too careless. I wouldnt mind 50% female rate, I think I'll be around there with the Purple Tahoe and the Moonwalker, 0 for 6, that sucks. Rock Candy gets some pretty good smoke reports, thats one i would have liked to have picked up. Weird they are yellow and pale.

lol. Sounds like you did. I aint doing that great. 6 seeds popped 2 female, 2 male, 2 I'm not sure. If these genetics are as great as they say we should only need one though. I split half my packs with someone also.

Got all mine greened back up and taking off...guess they just wanted fresh dirt AND way more food.
Overall about looks like 50% or better. Thought it was worse but realized i already had uppotted a ANOG female. ARC's are starting to take off a little. All these gals, grenades and LAD's will get another 3-4wks in veg tho before flip...we'll see if I can keep em relatively well sized by then. ha.
