Im pretty new to growing, I have been doing it for around 2 years now. But I have been doing research into big agriculture and just why this world is so fucked up for 14 years, you can say I am awake. We recently had a vote in California on the labeling of genetically modified foods, it lost because of the disinformation campaign put out by companies like Monsanto, Dupont and other chemical companies. GMOS are teaming havoc on the ecology and ppl in general. They spent over 67 million dollars defeating the proposition. They have also been responsible for paying for these pseudo studies that organics are not better than chemical foods. Your ego is hurt because your opinion was discredited, so what did you do you went online and found a study (probably paid for by big agriculture) and posted it here. I'll be back to once I trace the funding source of you study you posted.

Enough said I didn't have to go far just the top of your post, lol. I thought for a minute that you maybe had a little bit of awareness in you. Your study is published buy a government that is run by the Rothschild banking corp who fund the likes of the Rockefellers, JP Morgans, Barclays, who own Dupont, Monsanto and all of the other Chemical companies. Look it up. The funny thing about the truth is that you can't hide it. Look up terms like agenda 21, and you will se that they are attempting to squash small organic farming so that toying can lose your only source of real nutrition. Chemical farmers only replace NPKs so your food has no other minerals because the soil has been depleted. Anyone bows that vegetables will grow in depleted soil as long as you have Npk it will grow. Your helping to spread some dangerous information and it is killing us all.

Ok bro, salts are so dangerous lol. I don't use shitty synthetics made from Monsanto and some great farmers on this site are spreading "dangerous" info on how to make your own synthetic ferts using salts. So go preach to them.

Again, there is no proof of organic NPK making bud taste and smell better. So there is no need for me to keep on with this conversation, unsubbed.

Where do you think all chemical comes from, huge comanies which sell it to smaller companies who use them in their nutrients. When they say their team of chemists , they are only talking about mixing ratios, the raw chemicals come from the larger wholesale chemicals companies. You have to stop defending and open your mind and learn before you speak.

Your not to bright , organics are not split in to npks, they can't be they are whole sources which contain measurable amounts of Npk and other trace minerals, like guano, wood ashe, fish emulsion,
Worm castings, bone meal, blood meal. They are all natural.

Sythetic route for yields. Organics for tastes and smell.

A happy medium for best of both worlds

I grow organically indoor. I reuse all my soil. I leach nothing nowhere. No runoff, no drain to waste.

Lex, when you get a chance please post some photos of YOUR awesome synthetic methods. I know you e have tech problems uploading photos, so I'd be happy to help ya there.

The photos linked in your sig don't look so hot. Why? Take a look at any of my grow logs, please. When your garden looks that good, your opinions will carry lots more weight.

Until then you can post all the stats articles links and references you'd like. My garden speaks for itself. What is your garden saying?

Maybe its not impressive because I CHOSE to grow 1 plant (I don't smoke alot) so it looked small compared to the surrounding area. But healthy with no deficiencies from the unhealthy salts.

I shouldn't have anymore issues uploading photos because my friend just re-built my computer last night (thats why the crickets were chirping).

I had to delay growing about 6 weeks ago, and I'm helping my friend (same friend) build a growroom in his basement, so when we get things going I'll post a pic of them in flower just for you buddy.

P.S. Personal attacks on a shitty, fake Blueberry strain I got from a fake seedbank doesn't mean I can't grow, but you've been growing alot longer then me and your not that far ahead.

Being open to the possibilities of the world will help you along not just with growing but with yourself
You'll find that chemicals are only sold for one purpose, profit. Cheaper to produce, so they had almost everyone fooled when they first came into growing. Advanced Nutrients has had a big hand in it. As we learn more we begin to realize that there are people getting 1lb plants growing resposnibly(Organic) ill be honest synthetics are easy to use and they yield a ton. But now that I know a couple of secrets, when I run out of my synthetics. I'm going to swith to Age old organics Bountee and the earth & grow system and call it a day. I have a caretaker in my meetings that pulls a 1lb a plant organically and its the best of kush I have ever smoked. I don't even like smoking it because it makes me comatose, so I eat the buds and it helps with the knee pain(knee was destoyed in motorcycle accident)

He is going to teach me how to you use that system and ill post the grow on here should be sometime in beg of March.

You can see what the earth n grow is all about. The ppl who know about it don't share it because it gives them a monopoly in the area and they are giving away free meds and still have dough(he showed me the only 100,000 stack I have ever seen.

I use banana manna and swear by it. I does not make your weed tasted like bananas, it's NOTHING like those pineapple rush sweet type products. The only thing I'm certain is in it is IBA/NAA and banana hormones. Not sure what else. Definitely increases tric production and flavor aroma. I don't believe it's a carb source. I also brew teas like a mad dog.

You use NAA on buds intended for consumption??

NAA is a synthetic plant hormone in the auxin family and is an ingredient in many commercial plant rooting horticultural products; it is a rooting agent and used for the vegetative propagation of plants from stem and leaf cutting. It is also used for plant tissue culture.[2]

The hormone NAA does not occur naturally. In the United States, under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), products containing NAA require registration with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as pesticides.

Superthrive also contains NAA. One of my friends uses it on his bonsais and thinks highly of it, but there's a world of difference between a bonsai and a plant where the harvestable parts are consumed.

As for the organic vs. synthetic debate, it's really quite simple. Organic farming uses nitrogen fixed by bacteria, nitrogen actively part of the nitrogen cycle. Nitrogen is usually found in the form of a triple bonded, highly inert gas (N2). In this form, nitrogen is unable to be used by plants, fungi and animals, etc. This is where the Rhizobacteria come into play.

Specific bacteria (e.g., Rhizobium trifolium) possess nitrogenase enzymes that can fix atmospheric nitrogen (see nitrogen fixation) into a form (ammonium ion) that is chemically useful to higher organisms. This process requires a large amount of energy and anoxic conditions. Such bacteria may live freely in soil (e.g., Azotobacter) but normally exist in a symbiotic relationship in the root nodules of leguminous plants (e.g. clover, Trifolium, or soybean plant, Glycine max). Nitrogen-fixing bacteria are also symbiotic with a number of unrelated plant species such as alders (Alnus) spp., lichens, Casuarina, Myrica, liverworts, and Gunnera.[31]

As part of the symbiotic relationship, the plant converts the 'fixed' ammonium ion to nitrogen oxides and amino acids to form proteins and other molecules, (e.g., alkaloids). In return for the 'fixed' nitrogen, the plant secretes sugars to the symbiotic bacteria.[31] Legumes maintain an anaerobic (oxygen free) environment for their nitrogen-fixing bacteria.

Plants are able to assimilate nitrogen directly in the form of nitrates that may be present in soil from natural mineral deposits, artificial fertilizers, animal waste, or organic decay (as the product of bacteria, but not bacteria specifically associated with the plant). Nitrates absorbed in this fashion are converted to nitrites by the enzyme nitrate reductase, and then converted to ammonia by another enzyme called nitrite reductase.[31]

Then on the other side of the cycle there are denitrifying bacteria convert nitrate back into gaseous nitrogen, which helps maintain the balance.

Now let us consider the carbon cycle momentarily. What is the main reason that we're experiencing anthropogenic climate change today? The answer is, of course, due to our exploitation of fossil fuels. Those carbon-rich fossil fuels have been locked up underground for millions of year and have no longer been a part of the carbon cycle. By burning them, we're releasing that carbon back into the atmosphere, which results in a increase of atmospheric carbon.

Now the above is a good analogy for what we're doing with nitrogen. To produce synthetic fertilizers, we use industrial processes to fix massive amounts of gaseous nitrogen (N2) to convert it to forms of nitrogen useable by plants. This results in a massive influx of nitrates which weren't present as part of the natural nitrogen cycle, thus resulting in a drastic imbalance and problems such as algal blooms, etc.

I could be incorrect about the NAA part, but not the IBA part. Thanks for your input.

How do you apply the banana manna Outwest? It's not surprising you find positive results with it considering it contains root growth hormones. More roots = better growth.

About 1 oz/gallon once or twice a week through about week 7. If you look closely a lot of plant foods contain IBA. More roots = Better Nutrient Uptake :D

I have not, at least not in flower. Banana Manna is neither a trendy or popular product. Very few people know of it let alone use it. Those who do, swear by it. Is it possibly that to contains methyl jasmonate?
