Kendo, theory is not always reality, the feds told CO they wouldn't be messin with them, they opened the banks up for them and CO generated 128 mill in taxes so far. The feds ain't gonna mess with CO with that kind of tax money generated. On paper what you say looks good, in practicality, not so much. Good luck though, there are already big franchise plans going on, look at the current edition of Oregon Cannabis Connection and notice the big ad for the new statewide dispensary franchise, medheadsoregon I think was the name, they already had a domain purchased, etc. Showed from Portland to Ashland. Also, how long will you have to wait to buy or build your club when the zoning areas aren't designated yet nor the zoning laws established?

I am sorry about being so real about this topic but there is little honor in the business world today. Having watched the way our government works to further the needs of large corporations has led me to my conclusions.
The good news is it might be legal soon and then who cares right?
I will be growing my own crops no matter what the law is.

iT MAKES ME ALL WARM AND FUZZY TO THINK ABOUT CANNABIS BEING TOTALLY LEGAL.

Big nuts?!?
You been talkn to my wife?
Ok, Ya got me there. I am new here, But I did not show up to argue.
I showed up to connect with old friends and make new ones. It did not take me long to make new friends. I always seem to make friends wherever I go. I guess I just like people and enjoy their company.

so according to bob the only way a person should grow weed is to give it away for free. If you are not doing that you are a greedy cash cropper right? I agree with Kendo, you are the most negative person I have ever experienced. Why do you hate people that make money on a loophole so much. Why are you so jealous of "cash croppers"? The only comments bob ever makes are talking shit and preaching how awesome dispensaries will be. It is funny that he thinks that because anyone in oregon i know is stoked to get free meds at harvest. Buying a pound and a half a a dispensary will cost about eight or nine grand. Nobody I know grows shitty weed and I don't know where you are that you are saying everyone that grows outdoor grows shitty weed. That is the most ridiculous thing ever said. You will see what dispensaries have to offer here real soon. All the weed that can't get sold by "cash croppers" out of state because it sucks will go to the dispensaries. Same with indoor, if it is good weed it is sold without the need for legal sales. Legal sales will be for desperate shitty growers in the end. I agree with you though, the law is set up for people to grow their own weed to save money on perscription drugs. If they don't take advantage of that they have to pay. Why are the people that profit "greedy cash croppers". By your logic, farmers who grow corn are greedy cash croppers because they don't give their food away for free. I get so tired of the oregon threads getting ruined by you and your terrible attitude. Why can't you ever be positive? I don't want you to be offended bob but you really need to wake up to the real world that nothing is free. Why do you hate people for making something of themself so much? You just seem very jealous. You act like growers are robbing people at gunpoint for the "extra meds". When in reality they are working very hard to make a living. The only person getting something for nothing is the patient. You are right there are shitty people out there who screw patients and they deserve to be jailed. However you can not lump every person into that one category. I know near a hundred "cash croppers" whose patients return year after year because the grower does them right. They are happy with the agreement. they growers are rewarded for their hard work as well. Seems like a win win for everyone so why are you so filled with hate for a thing that everyone involved is happy. You are not involved with it at all but talk whit about growers like they are the devil. Try and be positive for once and not so mad that others are prospering.

@jaredman Perusing Bob's posts is like harvesting wheat. You have to sift through a shit ton of chaff to get to the wheat berry. That said I have found a few decent berries. Thanks Bob.

jaredman, 28 stickies on the bulletin board of the local club for patients looking for growers, more horror stories in the last two years from many patients whose growers just took off this and last year, grew the crop, harvested early, BAM, gone. lmfao. So when I start hearing more stories from actual patients about how good their growers are, I'd be more than happy to pass them along. Ain't heard none yet, I keep hearing from the growers how good they are, how happy their patients are, yet their patients don't come on here an pay homage to the grower. Check out CL and google ommp and look at the ads for disgruntled patients where the grower ripped them off, etc. All I know is down south, there are many more patients looking for growers than ever, landlords won't let you grow here at all, others are renting land wih water and such for 40K or more to rent out 8 card plots, boy that's cheap. lol Yet the patients don't say nothing, hmmmmm, cash croppers crowin for fame and gain, and patients not saying a word, not hard to figure. Thank you Kendoman, you made this boring forum liven up for a few days, appreciated

I can't thank you enough, your knowledge is as blessings beyond count. As you can imagine the atmosphere in my home has been pretty charged up. The unknown is a mother fucker, and for us this is a whole lot of unknowns. We have been focusing in on the smaller picture, when our main intent is the bigger one.... REFOCUS.... ADJUST...PROCEED...

so, Bob you are just proving the point that the growers have to recoup the expenses of growing. I have not seen one post by you about how expensive it is to grow. By your general attitude the grower should pay this cost of rent and then hand over all the weed to the patient. Maybe you can't realize, not only is this property thirty grand, to grow four cards costs about twelve thousand for supplies. Also to process four cards costs about twenty five grand in trimmers. Also work help at twenty bucks an hour for several hundred hours adds about five grand more. So the total of growing on this property is 72,000$. If the grower pulls off a hundred pound grow it can be profitable. However your ideas of what weed is selling for is a joke. The going rate is between 1200 and 1500 a pound. 1500 if you got people out of state. You are stuck several years ago if you think peeps are getting 3-5k a pound. Nobody anywhere pays that. In florida the going rate for outdoor top of the line bud from humboldt is 2100. In new york it is 2300. That is if it is in those states, not people from there coming here and buying it. People know that there is a flooded market out here and are paying accordingly. So subtract the six pounds for the patients, usually eight, two per patient for every grower i know. You then have 92 pounds to sell. probable price you will get is 1200 so that is 110400$ minus the cost of growing equals 38,200$ profit. Plus people aint exactly lining up to buy weed, it is actually very difficult to have connections that will buy anything. More people actually sell weed for 800-1000. So after knowing the TRUTH about the game are all these growers getting rich bob? And remember this model only works if the grower can grow four pound plants. Also remember the patients don't pay anything up front. I could understand your hatred of growers if the patients each chipped in the 18,000$ for their fair share of the expenses and then were ripped off. Or if they payed the 18,000$ and only got two pounds of weed. However the grower is the one putting up that money not the patient. So the patient sits back and gets free weed and the grower works his ass off to make between nothing and 38,000$. So i would love to hear an intelligent response to all of this information. you will probably ignore the facts and just babble some nonsense and not respond to this post in its entirety. Please if you have the mental capacity address all of the things i have said in this post. It took me a while to think about and express all of these facts. I don't assume things I know from fact in the real world not heresay. so please reply with some facts your self not rumors that you heard.

After harvesting, I am left with an excess of high quality meds. These award-winning strains were grown organically, harvested at full maturity, and dried and cured to perfection. These meds are clean, smooth, and potent.

Current Strains:

-Blue Dream (Hybrid)

Blue Dream is a cross of Blueberry and Haze and was bred to provide the body high of an indica and the cerebral sativa effects. Blue Dream is highly effective for pain management without the sedative effects of a pure indica. Effects are long lasting and she has a pleasant fruity taste.

-Exile (Hybrid, Indica-Dominant)

Exile is a very narcotic body stone, typically reminiscent of what a true Indica would represent. It is the main course of many patients, and a smoke for people who don't have anything planned for a few hours besides day dreaming and zoning out far into La-La Land. Although this is an Indica-dominant medical marijuana strain, it is not completely Indica-related and patients may experience a slight energized buzz but it is not enough to move your body off the couch. You will be completely sedated after smoking this strain.

-Sour OG (Hybrid)

Sour OG is a cross of Sour Diesel and OG Kush. A very nice weed to smoke, not overly powerful but provides a relaxing yet energetic high. Great for chilling with friends and laughing.

-Jillybean (Hybrid)

Bred by TGA Subcool by crossing Orange Velvet and Space Queen, Jillybean was rated a top 10 strain in 2007 by High Times. The high is described as being an upbeat and happy one, with flavors of tangy orange and mango. Flowering time is generally 8 weeks and a drop in temperature late in flowering will produce maroon colors on the leaves. THC content has been measured up to 17% with a CBD up to 0.54%.

-ATF (Sativa)

Alaskan Thunder Fuck is a strong sativa that will have you feeling the effects soon after exhale. Can also be known as Manatuska Thunder Fuck because it originates from the Manatuska Valley in Alaska.

-Cinex (Hybrid)

Cinex is a hybrid cross of the Cinderella 99 and Vortex strains. Cinex is good for mood elevation and pain relief.

-Jack Herer (Sativa)

Quite possibly the most awarded strain around, Jack Herer is named after the late hemp proponent and activist and author of The Empereror Wears No Clothes, a book helping to decriminalize cannabis. The Jack Herer strain is well known for both its cerebral high as well as its very strong body high.

-Orange Crush (Hybrid, Sativa-Dominant)

Orange Crush is a sativa-dominant cannabis strain with a super sweet tangy flavor and aroma. Bred by BC Growers Association with California Orange and Blueberry for parents, Orange Crush produces a powerful cerebral sensation that can last up to two hours. It has small, dense buds that contain a large amount of trichomes and many orange pistils. Orange Crush has a flowering time of 7-9 weeks and a THC content of up to 15%.

-Raspberry Kush (Indica)

Raspberry Kush is a great-tasting indica strain whose raspberries and cream aroma keeps patients coming back for more. This strain will lead to a bit of a body melt, but it can be surprisingly upbeat for an indica. It may leave newer patients feeling pretty lazy, but many find this kush to be a creative flower, making it great for music, art or talking with friends. Its genetics are unknown, but it is possibly the lovechild of Raspberry Cough and Cheese.

just as i thought bob too much truth to respond to. This is a desperate attempt by someone trying to recoup the cost of their grow that thought, "oh everyone makes money so easily growing, i will do it too". By the way i stopped at three dispensaries here in so or today. The meds they were offering at ten dollars a gram were so weak it made me laugh, it was their top shelf indoor. The outdoor/greenhouse eight dollar grams were even worse. Saw people in and out the door too. probably bought half a pound in all while i was in the shops of terrible meds. its laughable that you think dispensaries will do anything but rip people off way harder than any "cash cropper" will.

nope, those clubs you go to may say they test, but how do you know? Down south, the budget meds are 5 a gram and the popcorns of the top shelf. 140 a zip, worth it. That Craigslist ad came from Ptown, there are many more like it, what was you running your mouth about what people get per lb? Figure it up. What is laughable is so many here like you think you grow top shelf, and truth be told, lets see a test, hear from a patient or something. I said I think dispensarys will offer a choice, especially the new ones with the new rules, not those ones you frequent that buy Southern Oregon outdoor and sell in Portland, lmfao. You are just mad your patents will have somewhere else to go and something else to compare your meds to. If they stand up, you don't lose any patients and its nothing to you. If they like the club meds best, well, you may lose a patient, or they'll just sell yours so they can buy the clubs meds, LMFAO. Broaden your horizons son, why do you think Kendo wants to come here and open up shop and show you all how its done! And again, talk to some of the club owners and caregivers down south, that shit where the growers took off to FLA or parts unknown to sell their wares, they've left a black eye on the program too, now, not only do you have to worry out idiots that grow cheap ass genetics and outdoor and think they are DJ Short and grow bunk, hells bells, hey may skip town on you and there is nothing a patient can do about it. I'd say grow the best you can grow, and your meds will speak for themselves, you won't have to get on here and crow bout it.You're just sore the secrets out on how things are done here, as many are, but son, its time. Shine the light on the cockroaches and watch em scatter!

Here is a good little known fact to keep in mind...once you suggest an amount for a donation it becomes a taxable transaction..for example if you just say "donation" but leave the amount open to the "donator" it is all legal as a non taxable transaction but you have to be an established non profit. The second you say $30 donation it becomes a taxable sale, even if you are a legit non profit it is taxable..the flip side of that is that if someones comes to you says they can only donate $10 you can either refuse them or sell it to them at $10, you can not even suggest a higher amount or it becomes taxable..no charity or non profit can ask for a specific amount of a donation only solicate the open donation itself
