its because its anti-microbial... but trust me there are many products they can put in house cleaning products just as effective as citrus (limonene). citrus was carefully chosen to not only clean your house, but act as a sort of anti-depressant at the same time.

Soo rosin actually is the shit, i went out and dropped 15 bucks on a hair straitner, and pressed out about .5 to make a small little dab that fucking rocked me. Super tasty, super potent, and cleaner than any BHO i can get around here. So if you dont have access to good oil, but do have some good bud, try it and youll definetly enjoy it.

Also i realized today that the dab myth that claims that "One dab is like smoking 3 joints in one hit" is totally untrue. The average size dab is probably about .4-.5 of actual cannabis, just without any of the plant material. But i truly was suprised at how little bud it took to get a "avg dab"

Heres 2 dabs or so made from around .5 of small little .1 buds pressed once for a few seconds after it siZzles. Then scraped up splats with a knife, very clean, very terpy, very tasty, approximately 5 min maybe less of work.

if someone comes up with a legit way to press out the oil then harvest it i could see it competing with other concentrates, i just dont think it will be possible because its a laborious process, but if youve never smoked good fullmelt but your girlfriend has a hair straigtner and she bakes with parchment paper your in luck.

:eek: I must be living in a cave ..... Got a house full of straighteners (2 daughters 3 woman household) got flowers , damp ones too ... Parchment paper check .

But I busted my dab gear awhile back .....shit gonna have to get a new one
How long you need to flatten say a eighth and on I'm getting . O5 gram is this correct ?

If you have keif or hash laying around they are both really good nice yielding starting material. When you press the buds just press about .3 at a time, it'd probably take about an hour to squish and collect an 1/8 once you get in the groove of things. An eighth with probably yield from .5-.7. Here's some keif rosin I made a couple nights ago. :)

I find myself wondering about using things like panini makers, with the flat side instead of the griddle side...

Rosin or SHO was entered into the high times cup by multiple people...its super easy to make a bunch if you have a 25 micron screen and a t-shirt press...i can pump out rosin like crazy with those two things.

Huh, one of my jobs in high school was working for a place called California T-Shirts. We did those custom shirts that were popular in the 70s, packed 'em in cans and that sorta thing. I'd forgotten about those presses. What do they run nowadays?

this one was about $250 delivered, all you have to do is scrape off the foam pad so its metal to metal...i found that out after using a cookie sheet shown in the photo lol

Wow that is a great pressing tool right there! Had no clue there were shirt presses with digital thermo control. That looks like a game changer for pressing larger amount at a time. Great post, thanks for sharing:) @sox

Looks great @Timmyahcomeon138 that clarity is very nice. Hows it taste? was it from flowers? Do you use screens or filters when you make yours?

You could tumble the trim and collect the keif or sift and press that, or make bubble from trim and press that. I don't think I've seen anyone trying to rosin trim itself but seen lots of hash, sift, keif, and scissor hash rosin. @Seamaiden
