When I did some research, I saw your post at the other forum where you smashed your 900 LOL. I thought you were loopy but I wish I would have looked into why you did it a little more.

Hi fellas Mars should know who I am. I'm not here to fight but your new return policy is a joke. I smash my 900w because of the poor customer service and being lied to. I'm with Toaster it's all about diy

I have 11 panels 8 cobs on each made so far and I have still 5 more to make and when winter comes I'll turn them up from 186watts each to 423watts and each panels Cost me about $700+ and I can comfortably say they slay HPS all day

If you make them yourself you can fix it real easy. Cree has a 10 year warranty and Meanwell has a 7 year and they honor them very well. Although I won't be having with either but it's good to know if something goes wrong I won't be ignored.

I had 2 panels go out on me a 900 had 7 burnt and 1200 only 2 so I fixed the 1200 and smashed the 900 but I won't post the video on here just to be fair

I think he was trying to say some Chinese companies are out there just for the money. I've been dealing with Chinese tools for over 23 years and was selling them when I had my tool supply business and what he should have said is you get what you pay for.

Thanks eastcoastjoe Mars is ok until it breaks. I'm here too tell the truth not bash Mars because a lot of people got upset from that video lol. When it happens to them they will see. And as for the new Cree lights they have and saying using USA made Cree is not true because all the Diodes and COBs are made in China lol they are designed in the US but manufactured in China lol.

What you are looking at is 10 Vero 29 v2 and 66 CXB3590s top bin lol

Realstyles i am happy your really excited good for you man kinda reminds me when i did 73 plant grow started with 76 plants clone form Afghanistan kush and a few died at beginning but 2000 watt mag ballast umbrella 5 foot hoods i smashed it at 7 pounds dry harvest :) something like 1.589 grams per watt

Why with all the lies dude if you are really hitting those numbers why change it up? 8lbs 2000 watts you should write a book or make a video on how to do it. Like I tell my 24 yr old son "The only one you are lying too is yourself"

cause as you get older plant numbers do dictate jail times and mandatory minims no differnent then your lies on what you think you harvested i can assure you just by looking on tube and your vids thumb sized nugs are not going to get what you claim :) thems are facts real facts but if you insist i lowered my plant counts cause getting more yields with 1 k more and in scrog 5 x 15 scorg to be exact 7.3/4 pound :) with 12 plants and off course nice sized stalks cold you imagine 500 plus buds like the one on 5 gallon pail ??? Nope i no you can't cause for one your growing in 100 degree temps and two your growing in a we little tent there for your not going to see it yielding lol .... think about it my friend so please show us your lighter sized nugs some of us were not born yesterday buddy some

Also on closing note most growers i know shut it down in summer specially when its to hot etc this is why even us canucks throw a plant out door look at this bad boy 10 -11 feet tall 12 feet wide monster whats your thoughts on yield ?? lol plant and walk away let mother nature water her :) 4 more weeks you think soil will hold out half way point now with 0 nutrients

this thread is suppose to be about mars lights just go to my thread and then I'll turn it up on you.

@MarsG sorry I'll take his hate elsewhere and I'll only discuss LED or LES lighting. Also I know what Cree bins you are running. I won't say but I know what bins they are only because I didn't get my 900w fixed. I can not lie Mars was my training wheels and now I run with the big boys.

Sorry I may not do this. The light was purchased 3 months ago, Eastcoastjoe acccepted the order and didn't complain anything within 30 days, we can not reship a new panels, and I don't think any company will do this either:)

As a company, we protect customers' rights, but we also have our principles. There are more explaination you may find in the comment I replied to Keiksweat. :)

I think it's more important how eastcoastjoe feels about the solution, and I think eastcoastjoe can understand I'm also trying to help him. 4 new fans will be sent tmr. :)


i read this thread again today and it made me pretty sad and upset. it also made me think of something. you said you guys sell thousands of panels everyday, THOUSANDS. im no fool, you guys are doing just fine as a buisness being your the manufacturer and sales department, no middleman. you tell keiksweat not to judge over 1 accident. so if you say you guys have principles, what would it hurt for you guys to replace 2 panels, out of the thousands you sell everyday ? it would be a drop in the bucket and you know it. you admit its your accident but yet i have to be the one inconvenienced ? do you really think you will gain long term customers with your bad buisness practices ? you definitely lost a customer with me and anyone i know. keep your fans @MarsG and if you want you can have these panels back. you can fix them and sell them to someone else. you saying your company has principles is a joke

Doesn't sound very promising... not enough product support in my opinion.

my thoughts exactly. if i would have known this in advance there is no way i would have purchased them. don't get me wrong, it works decent and the spectrum seems OK. if it didn't make loads of heat than it would be a decent light. for $500 though, i could have got a real nice digital ballast, a nice fan and a nice reflector, bulbs too. instead i am stuck with two panels that make just as much heat as a HID but yields less. i should have known the 3 year warranty was too good to be true. screw me once, shame on you. screw me twice, shame on me. lesson learned.
 
Yep, pretty typical from a Chinese company I would say... And from what I understand in the news, the warehouses are so overloaded now, they can't dump all the stuff they have over produced.

ware houses are over loaded with everything thats business why so much hate on Mars bottom line they make it affordable for the beginner growers and as they get better they can move on to better products as far as i am concerned i have seen many first timers quit after first failed attempt either germinating or what ever but truth is does mars grow plants ???? will you yield something from them
What ould it be like to use 10 - 1600 mars panels in a room would it yield ???

WTF you have to say about this you don't even own a Mars light let alone 5 less one I smashed kick rocks lol.
 
If they are cheap enough, then fine... But if their warranty sucks, then they should own it.

well i did complain right away about the heat but it took me almost a month from the time of purchase to get everything setup. i plugged them in when i first recieved them to make sure they worked, not sure what else i should have done to asses if they were faulty ? when i did mention the heat you made it seem like i was a rookie grower and didnt have my tent ventilated properly which was not the case.

i didnt realize there was a problem until i saw other people post there setups and talk about how cool there panels ran, similar setups to mine. if you were willing to send new panels i would have sent them right to PA but i dont think thats what you wanted to do because you never once mentioned it ? you said i could send them there to be looked at. you never mentioned sending new panels, i still have a copy of every message you ever sent me.

and your statement about other companies is wrong. htg supply, lighthouse hydro and quite a few others would accept the panel back and replace it after 30 days. only thing different is they wouldnt issue a refund, instead a replacement. i had a blackstar panel from lighthouse hydro have issues with the fan rattling after 6 months. they sent me a replacement and didnt blink a eye because, THE PANEL WAS DEFECTIVE AND HAD A 1 YEAR WARRANTY. they didnt send me through hoops making me ship things to repair shops. that should be your end of the buisness not mine. if every panel was the same quality this issue wouldnt exist. and instead of just sucking it up and replacing them, your gonna pass the buck to me, the consumer. like somehow something i did was wrong and now i have to suffer just for supporting your buisness and buying your product. how come when you first posted in this thread you didnt ask me has it been 30 days from purchase ? no instead you wasted two weeks talking about add another fan and then just tried to give me a discount on buying a new panel

so in regards to the fans, if i have to ship my panels somewhere for repair and also cover the shipping, its kind of defeating the purpose and you can just keep the fans @MarsG . what light will i use in the mean time ? and why should i have to pay anything to get this issue resolved if there is a warranty in place ? so to answer your question about how i feel, i guess im not very happy about the solution.

I didn't mention about new panel because you never mention about the date you purchased as well. Try to imagine you are a seller, will you ask every user "Something wrong? Ok let me reship a new panel for you!" I do not think any company still can exist if works like this.

Firstly, this thread was set up on 11th Sep, I have never asked you when you bought it, you didn't tell me when you bought it either. It's impossible I meant to stall you, because i had no idea when you bought it, and no matter what I knew this issue was 2 months later after you purchased, 2 months were over "reship new brand " warranty time already.

Secondly, other growers and me were really trying to help you, because every grow situation might have heat problem, it's caused by many reasons. It happened before, and many people figured out it's something wrong with the ventilation system or too tight grow space. So please don't blame anyone of us who was trying to help you.:)

Thirdly, no matter you sent to PA at the begining when I set up this thread, or you send to PA now, after checking it's impossible to give you a new panel, because it's over warranty time. Every company has principle, so many customers there, we protect customers' rights, but also need to protect us. Because we have fooled by some people before. All those issues only have made us more strict about this policy. I think it's not hard to understand :)

Forthly, I said I would send you 4 new fans even without checking, this is from my personal emotion trying to help you. You were fine with that yesterday, you said thank you very much, and gave me your adress and phone number.TBH your new fans are packed already. But after a while you have changed your mind. I think your mood is just influenced by some other members here. I totally understand people always put sympathy to "disadvantaged" part, here you seem in this part. But as a company, of course we look rich and powerful. So people start to blame on us even without knowing all the things. But being a company, we must be mean and cheat and irresponsible?

So, here, I understand many guys are trying to help you, but I hope the helpers please be more rational. I believe many people just would like to see how exciting our discussion will be! But this is not ghossip or soap opera, less dramatic gonna be better.

Again, what I am doing here is trying to help you, but not slap my face in front of you. Or please send your light to PA now, check if it's really something wrong with the light, that repair guy is more professional than anyone of us, we will cover the shipping fee. Or 4 new fans will be sent to you for free, as my personal favor :)
 
yes it comes with free shipping. what im referring too is having to send the panel out for repair. there not speaking of that so i think its a safe bet i will be expected to pay shipping to the repair shop which wont be cheap.

If you send your light to PA for check, we will cover the shipping fee , and if it's something wrong with the light, we will fix it for free as well.
 
@MarsG if i was a seller and someone was complaing in my thread they had problems with my product, your damn right id ask them is everything ok. it would be the first thing i would ask. that would be the responsible thing to do, you know, the principle you claim you pride your company on.

when you set this thread up and saw i was having extreme heat problems, did you offer any warranty service. no you and a few others just assumed i didnt know how to vent my room properly. im not a rookie sweetheart, get it through your head. im experienced in building and growing and i believe you dont do either so that makes me the one with more experience. your blaming these problems on me and its likely the crappy fans you use in your panels.

you claimed 3 year warranty when i bought these 3 months ago, how is warranty time over ? and about our conversation, of course i said thank you and wasnt rude. but lets put it out there, if i dont accept the fans, is there any other option for me ? of course not so why be rude to you. i didnt agree to anything its the only option you offered so what can i do. you already have my money.

your the only company i ever dealt with that sends items out while the customer waits for repair. my local store, if i buy it there and it breaks, they replace it no question asked. what am i supposed to use in the meantime ?
