I'm on day #4 of 12/12 cycle. Still have yet to adjust my pH since I made this batch of nutes. My pH is still 5.8 and ppm is at 909. So weird how I used to adjust every day and now there has only been one time and that was after I mixed my nutes. If this is fine and not what a nutrient lock out is then I will take advantage of not having to pH up and down. Or top off the res. I can see pistils forming and especially on the very tops. Idk if you will be able to see that from this camera. However I'm going to leave you with some pictures to help show case my first hydro/indoor grow. Stay tuned loading pictures....

@Theassbandit
you know whats up...gotta get that res temp down....but h202 should do the trick.....also try an enzyme.....I use hydroguard for myself but you said that didnt help at all....
you can also pull up the lid and cut out all the infected roots....then run h202

I guess I'm lucky, I've had my air hoses get a lil slick and when I first started growing here I was using tap and got a lil slimy but a dose of h2o2 and then hydroguard ever since. But you know if you get that old fish tank smell that something is off. The lower temps should work for you. And like wish said maybe cut the affected roots. How are they looking now?

So I have had success in recovering a almost rotten plant by cutting roots and running water and tea in order to stimulate new root growth (75-80 farenhight) and it has worked. But if that's the best results I can get and struggle I would rather drop it altogether. I think I would only do DWC buckets in a crawlspace or if I lived somewhere hot and owned and a.c. and kept my house at 65 degrees.

So alas I have a digital timer that turns on 8 times daily for 10 minute intervals to cool my RDWC. Temps range at 59-68 every two hours hopefully the plant can get used to the flux

Okay so here is the update on the dehumidifier turned into a water chiller.
So this morning I went down to my hydro shop and got a Hydrofarm timer the timer can turn on and off up to eight times a day and can be set to any intervals right now I run it at 10 minute intervals every 2 hours. My room temperature is 77 degrees water in a bucket standing will stay at 72 degrees but with this 50 pint diffuser turn into a chiller my water will fluctuate from 63 to 68 degrees. I'm probably happier than this plant is right now.
Gh 3part. 250 ppm(total) 250watt MH.
20ml hydroguard. 7 drops superthrive
5 ml silica.

So this is just some information I got from Matt at Botanicare when I call them that I want to pass along.

Orca and Voodoo Juice have a whole host of beneficial bacterias, or baccilus innoculants. The difference with hydroguard by Botanicare is the fact that they have isolated the one most powerful fastest growing bacillus strain and bottled it. Instead of a bunch of diff varieties.
It's my opinion that Hydro guard would be the best solution for water-based medium and orca and Voodoo Juice would be better for soil based growth because they have more organic components and need the variety of bacterias for decomposition, but that has become my understanding☺

I was using kangaroots with my hydrogaurd. I wish I could pull up a bucket to see in there. We will wait until harvest.

Yeah @wasfromks I'm mad jealous , those pics of your grow look awesome. Are you running single detached buckets and just keeping their room temperature a.c.'d so the buckets stay cooler?
So my system is like
Images
the large res is outside the tent. So it's not taking up tent space or being exposed to the heat off the lamps. The controller bucket is in the tent simply chose that because majority of the day nutes are sitting in my res and get pumped to the controller bucket like 5 times in a 24 hour process and for only 15 minutes each time. So I don't really need to worry about temps of my nutes in the tent too often because they aren't exposed to the heat of the lights. Now outside of the tent were my giant 55 gal. res is I have the ac ducted to blow on the outside of the res and my clean air intake is low on the ground next to that res as well. So by doing this I kill several issues with one stone. I have my tent temps perfect, I exhaust out enough hot air and bring in enough cool air for it to stay constantly perfect inside the tent. Also my res temp is like next to perfect because it's on cold cement and next to the ac. I didn't have to buy a chiller and use more utility. I have to run my ac this time of year anyways its getting warmer where I am. I like this system honestly. I think a large flood and drain tray system that would be the size of my tent is more ideal for me considering my limiting factors physically to do scrog crops much more. Also it's way less time invested before you get flowers. To get up and going and experienced this is a legit kit. Now that I see how it was made I probably won't buy another vs making one. If someone wanted to see how it works or experience or for moms this is legit. I will probably convert this to a mom set up and keep 12 different strains in a constant veg. Get some flood and drain trays and have a perpetual system. Have a flower tent and a veg tent.....it will be another half year or year before I start to consider doing all that. Let's see where I get with this cycle and I will make some moves I'm sure.

Fuck yeah, so that's a ebb and flow? It pumps up and then pumps it out 5 times a day? That's pretty sick bro, I run a rooting, vegging, and flower room consistently. It was my first grow and I just kinda knew I wanted the experience with this plant in all stages of its development and figured there was no better way than to just take a clone flower and keep building shit to keep those clones going. My supersoil plants are fire and it has kinda sucked because I'm messing with this DWC shit (which is cool and fast in its own wright) be all my friends keep saying how fire of bus it is which I will admit all the tea and molasis I feed it should be ("sugar in is sugar out") my air pots I make Definately out grow plastic pots and all is going well, but this DWC thing has been a headache up until today and honestly I was considering a system similar to yours before siging onto dwc. I've heard it beats dwc with less of a headache and produces similar to more results but I wasn't gonna buy a system and figured a bucket with water seemed pretty simple. But whatev ya know I struggled but flowered with plain old buckets and build this dehumidifier and it kick good so I have attacked everything anyone has offered so if this plant doesn't like it im going to a diff system. I always flower my super soils along side it tho, I'm kind of a health person and it just sits better with meh.

Everybody in my state is trying to learn to grow (now that AK is legal). I feel I learn faster but I see all the competition popping up and I'm like, fck.

That's the info that cause my to buy hg. It sucks you're having issues. I guess I'm lucky. I've seen side dwc nightmares. But I swear this shit is set it and forget it. Like I ain't even checked water level in 2 days. I know their good. Once you get it dialed in its easy. One thing I haven't done is bring in cuts or anything from someone else grow.

What water are you using again? Just wanna get this dialed in. Does it have any medium still that came from the other grow? Have you flushed the root crown with hg or h2o2?
