You FIMMED her! That's awesome. FIM stand for "fuck I missed" when you leave a little too much when topping and you get 4 shoots instead of 2. A lot of people recommend doing over topping. I tried to on one last round but I only got 3 tops
A lot of people actually recommend you "pinch" the top EXACTLY how you did to get 4 tops. You achieved it masterfully. Well done my friend

i like it. it sure helps to have genetics that make it look easy tho. we will hide the afghans behind a steel curtain for now. LOL

not much going on here.. just enjoying the cool day well compared to yesterdays 120F.
trying to find a sativa strain to look into that is good for depression.
wish it was as easy as going to the local dristrib buying a gram of each and finding one you like and go from there.. but yeah that is not gonna hapen.

this was there top shelf jack here. :( no happy high, no high.. cat nip!

@jumpincactus

i have a question for you man. so this jalapeno plant. when i transplant the other kids in a week probably. how do i handle putting him out side? just in the shade for a week?

i can top it right? also about transplanting it.. do i up pot like with herb every 4 weeks.. or do i go from 1g to 5g and put the jalapeno out side in the shade.. im thinking larger 5g pot would help not dry out as fast but i dunno.. any thoughts, how would you handle a pepper plant you started in side?

would you top it?

Chris , you live in AZ? When you said was 120 I can say I feel your pain man. Been in the 110-120 range here for the past week. :fire::fire::fire::fire::fire: Really taxing my ac system to say the least.:sweating: And I am even running lights on after 6 pm to keep the temps down.

Left for work the other day at 2:45 am and it was already 97.

If your in the desert like I am, I would go slow with putting anything outside that is green and living right now. Especially if young starts. I planted all my pepper plants years ago in the late winter/ early spring.
The reason I say this is even tho they are pepper plants if young and not established they will struggle with desert summer heat. Mine are 4 yrs old and have been bearing lots of fruit past 2 seasons but with the recent heat they are struggling big time. Pot em in containers and if you can leave them inside and then transplant outside after the triple digits stop. Sometime come October. Keep in mind I'm assumin you live in AZ somewhere.

yeah AZ, and im surprised my a/c has not blown up.. laughs.
yeah yesterday was a bit warm.. but it dose make you think a bit different for now anyhow.. before 115F was feeling a bit warm.. after 12oF today is like its nice. a/c is working hah.

but that me being silly because im sure ill bitch about the 115F in a month from now.. not so much a single hot day.. but just tried of the heat after weeks of it. laughs like most of us desert rats.

i like to say.. you put up with 3 month of hell for 70F winters.

but i need me some good fishing and greenery.. so i need a change.. once i get healthy.. i hope to get on my feet again one day. laughs

Hell ya it looks healthy. Great color and wanting to be upotted. I used to grow em indoors in 4 gall pots as well with my groom lighting and had great luck with pollinating them with a powered toothbrush. When the plant starts to flower take and gently lay the toothbrush against the main stems holding flowers and the micro vibrations will cause the pollen to fall and get the party started . I use this on indoor maters as well.
