yeah i hear ya im hands on too until i see it for my self its just all theory to my dumb ass.

hands on is a bitch just saying lol when I started I did not know ANY thing what so ever about growing other then I was sick of getting the bone from some kid down town

so I just got done tranplants one of my bigger ones it was so root bound it was nuts I never left plants in veg this long before the looks sososos bad from being RB I have 3 more to do but don't have any thing bigger

I went from a 3gallon ( looked about a lil over haft full so maybe 2gallon) now in a 8 gallon the plant is about 6ft tall all of them are . I need to get them looking better so I can start to get some clone or I might have to take clones from the last set that is now in soil and looking good just so lil

@fatawa so on the weight looking to be about 4 oz im super happy with that with how my plants always look but I can for sure do better . im thinking I might find out what I been doing wrong and that is not getting enough run off when I water so its just building up in the medium

makes sense..wish i cud help u more on that part(im way better at hydro,soil....not so much as far as chemicals)but if those salts build up from lack of runoff it will absolutly effect yields.

what do you use for food tinder? i do not do the 20 percent run off.. my micros keep the soil in check.

so I would not get a salt build up like when I used fox farm im thinking the nutes just setting in the soil building up locking the plant up

took me last 3 plants that seem to been root bound put them in 5 g buckets hoping that fixes them gets lots of red spots on them I did a flush seem it got better but still something was up

so im thinking is all stems from taking clones from a plant that was just about to have nute def

what u guys think is going on here I think a K def I flushed them seem to slowed it down maybe but still don't seem happy should I flush more i give them some more nute but now i have backed off and started just plan ph water

I think its all time for the trash bin I got maybe 2 plants I can keep they all look like crap like a 4 grade grew them. idk thinking I might call it quits all the head ack is not worth this rather just get it from the kid on the corner . seems growing my own meds is not for me as much as I really wish it was not true but I don't know what to do any more. I have tried every thing but what works lol diff lights nute strains planters walls air flow so on and so on if its not one thing its another my out door herb plants growing like mad biggest tomato plants I have ever had using the same nute and soil as my indoors

makes my heart melt every day I open that door and they worse and worse

some of the plants that where trans plant some of the top leafs turned black never seen black on a plant

so after all this bs now I have a boron def its chewing my tops up in veg like nothing I seen before I am damn close to just dump as much nute in to the plants as I can was using 3t per gallon about to do 6 and see what happens

The biggest heat source is the CMH and mh lights. You can move your balast away from the area to start. May consider running a t5 setup and add supplemental lights as you go. I know you're trying to save money but growing isn't a cheap hobby by any means. Probably best to stay with 4 plants total to start. Dial it in really good. Even if you stick a portable in that room it's only going to be about 30 degrees cooler than ambient temps. So if the room is a 100 it may only get to 80ish. I recommend growing in tents so you can manage the environment easier. This is supposed to be fun and full of love. You already got the hard part down and got your feet wet.

My 2 Spydrx lights and my 5x9 gorilla was 5k not even including all the other stuff and other lights
