So much this

I have always thought the cleanest you could grow a flower was pure hydro.

Funny I never switched from promix to coco or grow stones. I decided to go more organic and water only for veg because of my staggered plant count of different stage plants all together. And in flower the different plants all need a bit different care so i just switch to adding nutes mixed indivially for 6-8 plants as they need water.

Works so well i never really changed anything.

And we have spotty power out here so i would need backup generators. And of course i would have to buy or build a system.

Man this headband im smoking is freakin’ potent. Im just babbling away......

They arent gonna grow anymore if they froze like that. May as well cut imho if you can get them inside or somewhere warmer.
Talked to some old school growers from Nelson this morn and they said to see how they do throughout day supposed to get 11 hours of sun, right noe they have defrosted
And I gave them a shake. No viable damage so far but yes things are coming down

Looks like they're done, Finished up right about 8 weeks. I think the bit of nutrient stress caused them to ripen a little early, but trichs are nice and cloudy and some are starting to fall over, and the plants have an overall "ready" look to them.
Dropping the temp to about 12-15c overnight for the last half of the 24 hr dark period. Tomorrow morning I'll get going on tearing this room down. Really curious to see how this one yielded. Because even though I know it could be better, it's still packed in there pretty dense.

Violator is just Insane. Nothing big enough to warrant a photo, but seemingly billions of small rock hard buds that are absolutely soaked.. I mean just drenched, in resin. I dont think I'll need to trim much off them they're so covered in crystal. It's really bizzare how oozy they are. They actually feel wet.

I cant wait to run this violator in wool. Curious to see what more control will produce.

I have to admit it faded a bit more than I'd prefer even with small doses of pbp grow to the end. It really just gave up the ghost. But smells, and looks like incredible quality, fingers crossed it smokes just as good.

BTW killed it like always
Thanks man. I'm happy with it, but I recently saw what this violator is capable of and I didnt quite get it there. Its not bad, but with some fine tuning I think I can almost double the yield from it on the next run if i play it right. The guy who originally gave it to my buddy says it's much easier to grow in wool because it locks out so easily in soiless.

I think for the next run I'm just going to run the 2 strains, the platinum cookies because it's a foolproof producer and excellent smoke, and the violator because it's just so damn potent. Hoping I can find a happy medium with the feed strength, since running 2 varieties on the same hydro res makes me a bit noivous...
