Well, I’m still plugging away. I got half my harvest down before it hit a record low in Colorado and dropped to 7 degrees while dumping snow. It literally froze my buds into popsicles in one night and didn’t get above 20 the next day. Yesterday it was 80. Colorado is not high it’s drunk! Any how I had to pull an emergency trim which is good news for the community here because I can discuss and show trimmed beautiful plants before the freeze, during the freeze( I cut one night of frozen weed) and after they thawed out. The leaves did not come back. I checked a flower and it was wilted after the thaw to cut. So I just hacked everything and hung it outside on my fence for 2 days and then brought it in. I had to do it that way because that amount wet in the room I have would probably mold. Any how when they were a little more dry I brought them in to finish. It’s actually making my work a lot easier. Although the product is quite different I wouldn’t say it’s worse than the wet trim I normally do and hang. It just has different qualities. I noticed the frozen weed looks almost freeze dried but the flavor is preserved. The freeze must have done something to preserve the terpenes. I thought it would suck and be moldy but no. And I thought it would taste like hay doing the outside dry trim for two days being in sun it got to like 70 within a few days. Huge temp swing. I thought it would not get me high from the sun supposedly deteriorating the thc. Nope I’ll tell you right now it works just as well as anything else if not better in that aspect. I’ll have to get more pics later but I’ll post some of what I thought was Da Alien . Actually now I think I messed up that labeling and it is most likely an S1 from sweet poison which is a lot like golden goat. The s1 looks identical/tastes and smells like the parent only had a huge tight structure outside. Rock hard super frosty weed. The jar was a lot more full after the rest came off the line too. I think she was around 8 or 9 oz dry. The plant in the middle was what I think sweet poison. Which was cut pre freeze temps . I’ll post some freeze one post frozen buds later.
