Last day before the defoliation party tomorrow....... every plant will be removed from the room and cleaned up, then separated according to height and replaced. I'll need to control my urges to remove too much, but past that, the entire room sure needs it. And it's a far cry from the first 2 weeks or so.

The other side of the room is identical, so no need to keep doubling up on the pic's............. also worth noting the different pheno's as there are a couple of plants far above the others with a more XMAS tree look- check the plant in the back and right side.

That's for sure........... it's the LED's. Ethos claims this strain is a monster too. I don't think it's a worry, as nothing as of yet has stretched much in flowering since the LED's are only 20 inches away. The veg stretch was probably helped along by 1) cooler night temps and 2) placing the lights 4 ft away (further than usual).

I'm a little anxious about tomorrow.....just wanting to do the right thing. I know once I get "into" it, I'll figure the best way to move forward but definitely want to remove less than previous grows, as I don't think it's putting off as many leaves, although they are larger. I'll take before and after videos, just for posterity sake.

No, more like take 2 sets of leaves, leave the rest. I may also try tucking some leaves. Much depends on how much inside crap is there too.

First thing I do when I pull a plant out, I rotate it around 360 degrees and let it talk to me- I’m the Plant Whisperer. Some leaves say “leave me” while others say “gotta go”............ I put a post note up on the wall already- DON’T REMOVE TOO MUCH!!!

So...... sick (yellowing) and lower stuff first, then largest leaves blocking bud sites. The rest I’ll leave for another day.

Well, 2 hours later and the first defoliation is over, and I just finished watering them. Things went really well, and I removed much of the bottom crap and 4-8 of the largest sunleaves that seem to be blocking everything below. I didn’t take a video or pics because it would have just slowed me down but tomorrow is 1 week in flowering and I’ll take them tomorrow when the plants have a chance to acclimate themselves to their new positions in the room.

Happy it’s done and things couldn’t have gone any better imo...........tall plants to the left side of the room now, and I had to raise the light 6 inches more, shorter plants to the right.

I'll take option B... keep growing for your followers, the members and of course what would it be without a little bit of selfishness... most importantly me 😁. Always top notch and reliable info put into practice and unbiased results and opinions.

So no sir don't make me call the wife... on second thought that may not help lol.

I want to change it up next grow in some form............. maybe just daily pictures and no comments, or maybe the "MEAN" sshz where I'll pick fights with everyone that posts in the thread. LOL I went back and found threads under sshz since 2007 at various sites and I was posting them under a different name before that so it's time for a "twist" of some sort. I think I was one of the first 100 people signed up here at THCFarmer under a different name before I was banned a few years later.

And the wife would absolutely LOVE it if I stopped growing.......... make no doubt about that. She hates the growing but sure loves it when the cash comes rolling in. LOL

Still waiting for the Expert Seeds giveaway to arrive.......not sure I mentioned that on their website, it states they still have orders from November that haven't arrived to the USA. My last order was shipped within the U.S. but I guess these freebies are coming from Ireland, where they are based out of.

Hahaha bloody women. My wife is exactly the same mate. Hates me growing but is the first to hold her hand out for the money when it comes in.

+1 lol... just within the rules. It's funny how age mellows a person out (speaking in terms of myself) my mother always said "******" one day you are either going to kill someone and goto jail or be killed... look at me now all nice and polite and stuff 😇
