I agreed to update 3 times a week. But I mean, with one plant in a vented tent... it's basically the same pic over and over for a few weeks almost lol.

So yeah I've fallen short on the plant updates. Try to keep the thread alive with sweet tune recommendations 😆
But really I update plant progress every 3 or 4 days. Today would have been an update day.. plant looks great. Gonna make a ton of clones.
I want to see you do the clones. We haven't done that yet. We don't have the room at this point, but we are planning on not living here forever.

Perhaps dumping some of this stuff together into a single thread might be useful, (just an idea) since so many of us got lights now. Could be something more useful to SF, just a thought.

I couldn't play your video, instead of the vid, the below message was up... 🤔

"This video is age-restricted and only available on YouTube. Learn more

There's a disclaimer you need to check. Follow the link, I got it open. "this might be offensive to some" lol

Dude, these are great, one after another.

*UPDATE: Found it..."Oliver Tree - Hurt"

Here is a couple pics of the process. I start by breaking down the branches into about 4" long cuts. I'll clean them up and remove the tips of leaves to avoid overlapping leaves in the dome.
Then I make a final cut under water with a scalpel just above or just below a node, dip it into rooting gel that I keep on the butt end of a coffee mug, and stick it in the rooter hole. These are a different kind of rooter with smaller holes than RR's so the pre-made hole works fine. That's about all there is to it.
Oh I also squirt about .25ml of Wilson gel into the hole in addition to dipping the cuts. I find inserting the stem strips a lot of gel off so I preload the hole with a bit.

From here I will put them under a single T5 at about 75 - 80F until they root. And I'll remove the dome to air them out once a day and wipe off any condensation, and top up the moisture levels after a week or so by using the medicine syringe to squirt a bit of water on each rooter. I never mist them, I find that just invites mold. These were also given a sulphur burn treatment today before taking the cuts to help keep them clean while they root.

Ended up with an even 50 clones off that plant. 30 tops and 20 mid stem cuts.

Hello all!
So, I noticed this thread seems to be loaded with extremely experienced growers. So, I was wondering if some kind soul might help me.. I'm a newby. (And Dirtbag, that is one AMAZING light, totally green over here 🤢!!).. Anyway, this is my first ever grow and I'm getting ready to flip my Dark Star over to flower. I'm set up in a 4x4x7 tent with a Mars Hydro TS600W and a Viparspectra XS1500 on 18/6 cycle. Ventilation is a 6" 390 CFM inline with carbon filter and a couple of oscillating fans. Ambient temps run at 79.5 at its hottest, leaf temps are 83ish.
I'm growing with Fox Farm Happy Frog Soil in a 10 gallon fabric pot. I'm using tap water (ppm before nutes hover around 338 and abt 546 after) with a ph of 6.3, run off ph generally holds around 6. I use Humboldt supplements (Root Enzymes, Golden Tree, Base A&B) along with Cal-mag and Recharge. Will begin flowering nutes when I turn it over.
The plant currently has a 36" circumference and stands just over 33". I've fimmed throughout to keep it short and have done some minimal LST training as it grew.
I've defoliated a few times to keep air flowing and have lollipopped the lower portion of each branch abt 14" up from the bottom removing suckers as I went. Soooo, now that I've melted your brains with my long post.. The question is (sorry, it's really a few but even if you could help with one I'd really appreciate it).. Is there anything I need to do to prep for the flowering stage? Should I lollipop further up? Defoliate further? (Last time was abt 2 weeks ago and it's thick again).

I figure who better to ask than veteran growers... I really appreciate any help or suggestions anyone can throw my way..

THANKS EVERYONE!

@HumbleTie1321 personally I'd remove a bit more undergrowth. When that thing stretches its going to leave a lot of that foliage buried under the canopy.
I'd pretty much strip the nodes off each branch up to the top 2 or 3, and same for the leaves. You really just want a thin canopy at the top of the plant when you flip. A few weeks later you can clean it up again.

Looks good though, nice job for your first grow!
Be careful with that water too, it's awfully hot at almost 400ppm on its own. I'm hesitant to use water that's over 200ppm without diluting it with RO.
