I also think you need a good flush!
Add a handful of gypsum and those should stop seeing those spots.
If this is the case, then why doesn’t the other plant that has 2 actually growing plants have any signs of this? The plants are 3 weeks old. You’re telling me, on a 6 inch plant, in a 2 gallon airpot, there isn’t enough calcium in lush soil to hold it over for a minimum of 3 weeks? I just don’t buy into that. Maybe at 6+ weeks, and even into flower, but not on a early veg state plant. Calcium def also shows on new growth first. With stunted and other issues. This problem started bottom up and is only affecting the main fan leafs and not the new growth. It is calcium though. You are high in Nitrogen and growing fast and there isn't enough available calcium to keep up. Most growers don't understand how much calcium a fast growing cannabis consumes.
I repotted them both. Soil is fresh. Water is 6.4 on the nose. We’ll see what happens. Both plants look to have a pH issue. I’d start with checking the soil pH, runoff pH. Then if those are in check, work down rabbit hole.
Good luck
I’ve read all the comment and I’m not opposed to other thing. I’m 65, and this is a hobby. Creating my own genetics and such. I understand everything that is said, and have for a long time. The one thing everyone is missing is I’ve tested the soil, I’ve tested the water, I’ve looked for pests, and I’ve checked the environment. There is no issues with any of it.I’m not trying to be a jerk but it seems you don’t want to hear anything people here have to say. You said the other plant has no issues.
Mottled coloring, twisted clawed leaves, very short node spacing and rough leaf texture are issues to me.
For the one with spots. Very dark leaves, clawing, rough leaf texture, burnt tips, not to mention the spots- issues
The bud pick, while pretty is pretty small
All the things I see with the first two plants happen when the soil is too hot. If it’s not a soil issue what could it be? Environment? Genetics? Contaminated water? Doubt it. Running some extra water through the soil to bring it down a couple hundred ppm at watering time doesn’t stress your plants. Sitting in nearly toxic hot soil does stress them though. Good luck with it my friend.
You’re right….I don’t know what the heck I’m doing…….hence the name, but my results speak for themselves I believe. Surprised someone on the staff here can be such a mountain of negativity and waste of breath.growing for 30 years? highly doubt it.. if so still hasn’t learned to keep a plant healthy until harvest..
those issues are such newbie issues..
This sounds like a good story…….I’m outta here before I get in trouble…again.
Good luck and
That’s a beautiful plant! You did say n was a bit high in your soil. Maybe your new strains aren’t very n tolerant or they disagree with the ratios in the soil. I wasn’t forgetting that you had the soil tested. I believe the plants know what they want better than a lab. When I said you don’t want to listen, it seemed like you were rebutting every post even from well known growers on here. To be honest I missed the post about changing the dirt. My bad. I hope that does the trick.
Those colors are awesome btw. Nutrient dep, cold?
Here’s one I made jungle breath x platinum kush breath fem seeds.
