Save the lowers for cuttings when growing outdoors. Of course, if you've found that in your locale you just thin out the canopy, for whatever reason(s), then I think you should do that. My perspective is skewed, being in California.

Hello new friend! I recommend leg-shaving for indoor growing. Outside I don't do it, in fact, I like leaving enough lowers for me to take cuts from any ladies I feel are worth it for growing out the following year. Indoors, DEFINITELY, shave the legs or it just turns to hair.
