The art of drying/curing in dry cali

Sounds like a plan. My temps are pretty high, but i've got decent humidity, hoping that it will compensate. i've had a couple over dry on me now. I'll see how they do tomorrow and maybe I'll jar em up.

Sounds like a great idea! Are the buds still moist on the outsides when you jar them? And what is your normal temps & humidity in the box?

The art of drying/curing in dry cali

Haha, never knew that such a thing as a "cool mist dehumidifer" existed before now! I've been running a hot steam one that I've had forever, shits been getting my closet hot as hell. Well, these AlienDawg's are on 2, going on 3 of drying in the closet. The humidity has been 50-60%, but the temps...

No, not outdoors, wish I was, but I only live in an apt. yeah totally if I was outdoors I've be checking it constantly! But once the temps drop, I won't have to have the A/C inside anymore for the plants, so I'm looking forward to that. Thanks for the advice!

Good, can't wait for the rain to come! The winters up here is what makes it nice, I think. Can't stand the dry hot summers. I guess I'm the only one in norcal that doesn't know what your talking about.

The art of drying/curing in dry cali

About how many days does this normaly take for them to be ready to jar up? Some of mine are at 2 days, and starting to feel a little crispy (but still squishy). I managed to get my humidifier to work, its up to 55%-60% right now, but the temps are also up (85o). Anyone know of any cool...

The art of drying/curing in dry cali

I've heard of ways to go directly from harvest into brown paper bags for a more slow dry. Don't even hang them, just straight into bags or boxes. What do you guys think of this?

The art of drying/curing in dry cali

So its really fucking dry in northern cali, as everyone knows. Humidity doesn't get above 30% if you're lucky. I've been having some problems with the art of drying and curing weed in this such dry environment. I first tried the dry until stem breaks, about 7 days (!!)... wow, waaaay to dry, no...

I'm pretty sure that something like this goes down in mendocino county. I saw it on their craigslist a couple months ago.

    Vending Q

Great info guys! Yeah, I'm not really prepared to drive down to san fran (maybe if I have too) to sell this, but I'm also not looking at selling massive amounts. Just like 2 1/2lbs every 2 months. What's the lowest amount most clubs will buy? Thanks for all the help!

    Vending Q

Thanks baba. Yeah, I know that I'll have to go down to the club actually to show them, but should I call first to let them know that I have stuff? The clubs I've been into I've heard a bunch of times people calling telling them about the meds they have. Just wondering if I should call first...

    Vending Q

Alright my fellow folks in norcal! I have been starting to grow a lot more than I can use, and was wondering about vending to clubs, but I have never done so before so I just had a couple questions about the game. About how much do you get per lb in northern cali? Whats the least amount that...

I totally agree with Sway. We are scared as hell up here in shasta and all over the triangle. This bill means DEATH to all of us vendors.

Justiceman's grow: The quest for Resin

Following your thread bro! Everything looks great! Was thinking of using the roots line-up. How would you say it compares to other liquid organics? How is the yeild gonna be with it, do you think? Since I know that they have low NPK.

    Indoor Raised Bed Q

Thanks for the info! Do you just water from the top, or do you flood the E&F trays under and wick the water from bottom up? I was thinking of maybe some kind of drip system for my beds. Not sure how easy that will be or not. Sounds like your E&F idea is where its at. How is the drainage on them...

    Indoor Raised Bed Q

Very nice, dusty! What are the dimensions on those boxes? 4x4? Also, what kind of drainage (if any) is there? I see you have them off the ground too. Looking for some advice on how to actually construct the raised bed. Thanks a lot!

    Indoor Raised Bed Q

Hello everyone. I've searched the forums far and wide and couldn't find anything really on this. I know GrowMaster utilizes this set-up, but I can't find much info on how to go about constructing it. I am looking at indoor raised beds for my next grow. I am thinking of either 4'x11' or a...

Bubba Kush 12/12 from clone soil grow

Lookin good bro! Once you stick those girls under that HPS they will explode for sure. Just an FYI though, those FF nutes aren't all organic. Only the soil & Big Bloom are. Espically the soluable 3 pack, those are loaded with synthetic salts.

    Worms in soil

"a few" ladybugs won't do anything at all to combat against heavy pest infestations. You will need at least 100-200 lady bugs in a medium sized area to do any real form of pest damage control.
