I will have time to get into nutrient profiles and a more in depth look at these products as the thread progresses, however i have been so impressed with them that i felt i had to get some pics up...
My initial impressions of the products are:
They are very concentrated - more so then any...
This thread starts at day 1 because we have designed several pro to-type hardware scenarios for the UC and are testing and tweaking what works best. This hopefully will be a project that we work on increasingly with Daniel and CC. So, that being said these were in 10-14 days in clone, 10-14...
I have recently noticed that while most of the dispensaries in CO are struggling to put anything above 20% THC on their shelves, everything that has come out of our UCs has been between 24% and 29% THC.
Anyone else notice higher THC levels when using this system?
I know its not what anyone wants to hear. I know everyone wants to just buy a product and feel safe from root rot regardless of how much time goes between rez changes. However just the idea of 2-4 weeks between change-outs is completely counter intuitive for dealing with this issue especially...
Rooting has always been a some what mystifying experience. Whether the mystification be based upon the ability to make a cut root, or the more philosophical fact that cuts do in fact root into trees at all, or both, methodology is always highly disputed. This is due largely, i believe, to...
I have often heard of this mythical "perfect" or even "stable" pH. However this approach has failed me both practically as well as theoretically.
Practically i documented running a static pH at the start of the thread "UC actual available nutrient profiles" and it was a nightmare. Link...
Well it appears that the Sure-to-grow portion of our side-by-side is starting to fail us. One maybe 2 trees are/have fallen to a root rot (mostly stem rot) issue stemming from their tendency to hold water against the massive trunks.
This event has caused me to re-evaluate H2O2 and bleach...
I have noticed more and more people ask how to veg/prep their plants for flower in the Under Current, and rightly so. IMO a key aspect of a successful UC run is the vegetative phase, and having a seamless transition of it into the system. That being said, it is presented here in 3 easy steps...
ISA pruning techniques
Proper as well as improper pruning can drastically affect your plants health in areas such as vigor, structure, yield, natural resistance to pests and pathogens, reproduction, ability to uptake water and solution, its production of plant growth regulators and plant...
Little outdoor coco going on. Same mix as the inside. Always reused:

Im posting this because i havent seen anyone else doing it and it is a technique that has really improved my grow.
Any trays that i run i first line with cloning trays for the blocks to sit upon. I do this for two main reasons.
First, i do it for drainage, it helps break the water tension...
16 k watts over 24 site UCXXL13 w/ geothermal cooling, double recirculation, uv filtration etc...
Nutes will be H&G...
For this round our side by side is veg media. We will be testing 4 inch Pargro cubes, 3 inch sure-to-grow and 1 inch rockwol rooting cubes.
Strains are the Filthy...
So Medimary asked me to throw the roots excel under the microscope, specifically looking for living microbes.
From what i could tell upon looking strait from the bottle, nothing is alive. However im going to culture some in potato auger to see if anything comes out.
Interestingly after it...
As the title says i ran 3 batches total, 1 of each type. Quantities were all about the same (one jammed full box of trim). However, i mixed these batches for quality, as they will be sent to the lab for testing.
ill go ahead and post pics of the set up, and of the initial crystal harvest...
So this project started out with about 150 F5 Chem Ultimas (SFV OG X ChemD) from Matt Riot. We are going to work on this generation together and this is some of my work.
That being said its hard to run males in a commercial MMJ center for obvious reasons so when i cannot risk the pollen...
As the title says... seedlings are mostly riots genetics. Strawberry white cough, Stormy Russian Blue, Crystal BLue Persuasion, Sandy Orange Dream, CLockwork BX, The scream, Cannasutra, Tahoe OG, and Double Black Doja.
For this mix we used Basement coco, perilite, worm castings, humus, and benies. It was mixed a few runs ago.
Always reuse soil/coco mixes that were well managed.
For nutes it was PBP, Cal-mag, Floralicious, Epsom, Protek, and FF 0-50-30's.
Hope you like..
God bud:
Started construction on a new place that i am Growmaster for, she is starting to come together (first 3 pics are the veg room almost complete and second 3 are the under construction flower room)... hope you like...
