    has anyone used whitney farms uncle malcoms blend or just their regular organic potting soil? how about gardner and bloom or cedar grove? They are all supposed to be bomb ass soils - any good mixes with this stuff? what do you guys recommend? until nex time ....keep it :smiley_joint:

    I don't see why not - but IMHO if you already got it- it might be better just to setup a lil drip system with just the hydroton or make a dwc bucket- both r cheap n simpler n cleaner alternatives- if you're stuck on using soil it might be better just to pick up some pumice, expanded clay pellets...

Have you put it up against the power flower like the rock said or roots organic?- i agree its a good soil but idk why but I feel as though it needs improvements and for the price of 2 bags of that or a whole bale of sunshine mix 4...

    despite wanting to go hydro or the coco route and have a lil more control I like to run various strains so giving them all the same food doesnt really work 4me -even though something like dwc is very tempting and may be easier to control - I know the best tasting stuff comes from a living...

    yea man its way too heavy ur gonna need perlite - and regardless of what they say about it being ph buffered thats only good for about 2 months so u gotta add a tspn of lime per gallon when ur going into flowering or ur soil's ph will drop so low it wont even change the color of ur test strips...

    :anim_19: damn what a bad one - i was told to flush with 3x water and the last gallon to run a half strength feed---------so the proper way is just to flush with straight water? - what do I follow this up with once it dries? Another watering or a half strength feed? :wait Im confused Wont it...
