This years soil experiment I posted previously seems to be rather on point. I haven't fed anything since august 21st. Just water and whatever the compost and ammendments are providing.
Interesting considering acetone w/ dry ice baths are becoming the defacto standard for dewaxing in the inter web circles. Have you done any post winterization filter tests of both side by side with exact amounts of biomass and solvent for each?
I've also put it out long enough to purge the liquids, then flip over the Pyrex on top of parchment (to keep debris out) and let the purge happen on the glass side. Gets the product dry and purged much quicker and more evenly IMHO
I like 50% RH for drying myself, and gauge stem dryness (ie does it snap or 'peel' when broken) for being ready to cure. I cure in sealed jars wrapped with panda film though. Is RH still something I should be checking in the jar? I breath them once a day for 5 min and usually prefer a 90 day...

I've been making extract since 09 regularly and yes a soak opposed to closed pressure blast gets a nice product, but pressure helps pull flavor from deeper in the plant, not just surface thc CBD etc. either way, winterization is an absolute must (no pun intended) MUST! Here is what I am making...
