The way I almost have 100% success rate is to use the smallest rockwool cubes like inch x inch or so, soak them in a light veg nute mix for a few hours then put a seed in each one, I put mine under 2 T5s x 24"long for about a week or two till i see good roots then i take 6" pots put 2" hydroton...

I have used this Roots Excelurator with the same luck but in my hydro mags they show an explosion of roots. Its been a year and i am still trying different recipes.

I have used the Kool Bloom liquid and dry with not much luck i am going to spend the money and try Bloombastic i saw a guy at the hydro store and he told me "It would make a pro out of a beginer".
