To me, it makes good sense to pH down or up FIRST to get the right environment to then add your nutrients. I believe that would maximize nutrient uptake. But I can't remember if nutes decrease pH or not so maybe this is why most people blast their feed with acid/base after adding nutes.

Hi, I've been told to run nutes at 1/4 the recommended strength (Dutch Master) in the undercurrent system. But what about the additives? Specifically Silica and Add 27? Any input would be appreciated. I've heard to run Zone at full recommendation (1ml/gal). Scott
