Kinda bummed, but now I can focus on the two I have left I guess, lol. Just glad I was checking them when I did.

And then there were two

And then there were two
I just chopped the one that looked like it was gonna hermie and I have one more, it gets down to the wire and you dont get what you need. I am gonna start backups for my next run early this time.

That sounds like a good idea, I may do so as well next round. My other two plants show no sign of hermie.
I think the one that hermied, may have been stressed too much because I topped it too early. Lesson learned!
Now as for the 2 that I have left, they are just starting their flower process, looking different everyday,

Some plants will herm no matter what so don't worry about stress too much. I doubt you did anything wrong. All 3 look very healthy! My girls get stressed a lot (heat, cold, light, pruning etc) and they don't herm. Best to just weed them out as they show up. And clone the ones that don't.

I agree, those look awfully good for your first try. My first try I overwatered them horribly and got bud rot.

Thank you for the kind words, I am also suprised how well they have come along. Very excited to see how they finish up, and how the next grow will go :)

My first try wasn't very good either, found out my water is about 8-9 and needs PH adjusted. Your ladies look great but they aren't done yet. Just keep doing whatever you've been doing - they look very happy and healthy!
:)

@MamaBear Since these are most likely Indica leaning strains, how long should I let them flower? Would I be correct if I say around 8-9 weeks?

8-9 weeks should do it. I don't chop on a schedule though. I let them finish on their own and chop when they look ready. I chop when tricomes are all cloudy with a few amber. If you like a really heavy indica, let them go till at least 1/2 amber. Problem is some strains don't amber much so that's not the only thing I look at. No new white pistils coming out and when the buds look fat and full and have some weight to them.
When in doubt - let them go a few more days. You'll get anxious to chop early - everyone does!

Ya I figured 8-9 weeks before I even start to think about it. I don't want a really heavy indica, what if I were chop when 1/2 clear 1/2 cloudy, would I lose out on potency?

It will be an "up" high for an indica but yeah, you can do that. You won't loose on potency - just yield. I like to let them go long as possible. Indicas are famous for putting on a lot of weight at the very end and you don't want to chop before that. I've seen buds double in size/weight in the last week.

Coming along nicely, Just starting to get "frosty" :)
