Whats the lbs per plant on those roots?? 3.5 or higher per plant I consider a successful mark in this system.
With the buckets I have pulled down 3.7 lbs per plant and on a current grow, looking to hit the 4 lb mark with ease (changed up some lighting).
I'm not saying the net pots don't grow plants for people, but the net pots have characteristics about them that I personally don't like.
Every farmer is different and achieves their final product in unique ways.

you dont really think the yeild came from your 3gal buckets thou do you? the 8k around 4plants probably had more to do with it then the top bucket which does very little for the yeild IMO
did you happen to get a photo of one of these 3.5lbers? I have always wanted to see the size of a 3lber that wasnt DD's g-13
Looks like a lot of space is gonna be waisted there if i may....shit ..id jam it least 4 8x4 tables in there and about 400 clones easy....4 seperate sys. to localize trouble and max yeild the space, minamise veg time..screw ounces per plant...gimme ounce per sq. ft. anyday
Nothing wrong with Recon...Heavy yielding Indica kinda like DD's......You grow all that work for personal use.....I assume you sell to make $$$...
I don't grow for free and So-Cal is getting crazy....My genetics need to be top notch to compete...So when yields are mentioned we really need to look at genetics and then compare..
The pictures i posted were just to show that big plants can be grown with the net pots...Feel like I get a better view of the roots....

being a rdwc looser, i can't bring anything to the table aside from saying use regenerative blowers - the more the better.
16 5 gal rdwc room wasn't impressive with 3 ap 100s. not blaming that for the failure, but i would have liked to have seen a lot more bubbles.
jack made the switch, ben made the switch, RMCG started off with it, you will too and hopefully make people want to make the move back to rdwc again. GOOD LUCK!
Just depends on how much noise you can have. Regens are LOUD!
Plumbing looks clean. Is that the PEX stuff?

Norcal Tom - I agree with you about fatman, but I disagree with his thoughts on DO (as contradictory as they were, one min its one thing the next its another.)
That being said, I really have to reccomend air diffusers. You will notice in the heath grows , which is really I believe what fatman was referencing, that the water levels are in terms of inches, the plants are smaller, and the flow rates are off the charts as you would expect putting roots in a drain pipe with alot of flow. Also with his system, there were a ton of waterfalls, and again a max depth of 2.5-3 inches. Anytime you go deeper than that, your asking for problems without the bubbles. Just my opinions from my experience.
awesome building skillz, NorcalTom!
