Looking like a jungle in there. Keep up the good work! Ladies are looking really healthy.

Shane20, thank you. I see you have a nice Uc avatar? wheres ur thread?
Thanks for the compliment, the leaves are reaching, ridges are strong and edges sharp.
The uc has these growing stages almost that I see sometimes in the threads here. Turgid leaves and taking breaks along with weird growth patterns. Nothing like what Im used to in soil at all. I feel they are looking pretty nice and am really looking forward to some minor changes after this rd. I really hope These plants pack it on...

Very nice bushes
I would bust out the hedge trimmers and start hacking the under growth now it aint gonna get any easier later. Mine looked just like that yesterday today not so much but tomorrow they will be there again
Again very nice plants

Bgoggles, thanks for popping in. I cleaned the insides out pretty well several times and boom.... more!! These things are pretty thick. I'm gonna clip some large lowers and pluck some leaves tonight. Then weasel my screen down over em. I been lagging a little.
Thank you for the compliment. I read your thread a few times looking for ideas and tips. Nice pics and good work Bg!

Who Is getting 1lb+ individual plants here under horizontals? Reason I ask is in the past Ive had a few in soil and these are really quite a bit healthier and robust. Im just not sure how they will finish ya know? basically 2k over 3 plants. Could actually lower my gpw by having 8k over 12 plants this round.

Killin' it! :rock Those girls are lookin' sexy now!

Ur not gonna be able to even walk around in there homie. Nice work.

Hogaaaan how are you keeping your rh at 65%?? With my splits I can't get the room above 39%
I need to know asap! They wanna take off but the rh is holding em back.
Oh yeah by the way lookin killer bro!

Gf
I shut down a couple lights, after that I didnt need both ac's. Added the my dehuey, it was still only around 50%.... so, I just went old school, cleaned my gallon sprayer real well w a lil bleach. Filled it with hot water and every few hours sprayed the floor, containers, rez, epicenter. Anything that wouldnt catch fire or create an issue. The r.h went thru the roof. After a week they were lg enough that the room retained more moisture. (55%)

Now two weeks in the room is too humid, 60-70%. I'll let it ride til week 4 since they seem super happy and plants do better in higher humidity anyways. I sprayed moms w eagle 20 long ago and pm has never come back! My mini splits are dehumidifiers also so maybe the one im not cooling with I will switch to dehuey mode?

Deac, thanks for popping in. I could only be so lucky to not be able to walk around in there.....thanks for the compliment man! I hope this room fills up!!

shady, Im ready to get the next rd going and already have some plans and a few mods to my style:sun

I know Hogan I need to do a thread.Lol! Just finishing my second run. Had a few problems with both. Looking forward to starting number three. Hopefully lucky number 3. Just trying to put all this great knowledge from here to good use. So much helpful stuff. Looking forward to your next pics. Are you running zone and h2o2? Thanks!

I use zone once a week @1ml per gallon. seems fine. No h202 but was thinkin of adding to my rez, since I get floaties and algea a little.

If you dont mind my asking what problems have you experienced and how were you able, if so, to solve them?

First run started off fairly well. Tried 4 different strains. Major thing I did wrong was got one of the strains from a friend and didnt treat them. Couple weeks in and I see root aphids. Errrr... Mixed 5 gallon bucket with water and Merit and took every net pot out and dunked roots and rock. Killed them little shits. Did not run zone or H2o2 and think I had some root problems. Finished run and best strain was Blackberry kush. Not a great first run but ok. Just finishing second run now. Tried 3 strains. Just trying to find a keeper that produces and is tasty. The Tahoe OG is looking the best on this run. Humidity problems in the beginning were a problem but will have a good humidifier this next run. Ran some H2o2 on second run but still had some root issues. Going to try the zone in the next run and use H&G. I used Canna for the first two runs. Tried to follow jacks recipe. Love the way these systems can work and I am going to get it dialed one of these days. Hopefully sooner than later.

Had root aphids my last soil run.... lame!
Zone is good and I have a lot a friends that rock h2o2 and it seems less cost effective. I had several issues early that I could have easily avoided by reading more before I started this thing. Zone I feel saved my ass for now. I appreciate you answering my question man, it aint easy talkin but the ones we made mistakes on. Good vibes man!

Oh yeah one other thing I did wrong was that I had about 4 plants that were in 2 inch netpots and I planted them that way. I think the roots and stalk didnt like that. Lol! I think they were tapping out from chokehold. Live and learn.

Today I changed the water out of my system. My ppms were at 620 so I mixed fresh nutes in my waterchange rez to 620 and my ph was 5.8. I drained the old and added in the nice new and now I have a .5 ph drop.... down to 5.2? is this normal and something you all see when you add a fresh mix.

I read and experienced on my switch to bloom some hesitation before the ladies started feeding the bloom nutes and a slight ph dip, but wasnt expecting it this time?!

Should I be concerned? my only other varying factor was the change out water was 74 degrees but cooled to 64 in a couple hours..

As long as you didnt set your ph that low it should swing back. iirc desert squirrel lets his ph swing from 5.1 -6.5

Did you change the order of what you added? I used to have multiple reservours and I have added the same nutes in different orders and came up with different ph between the two.

Fresh nutes is like getting a whole new plate of food than what they were eating since the last full res change... Think of a whole new nutrient profile for the girls to take in... Patience is the key... :wait

Yeah, things were rocking over here and now I'm shittin logs!! I'm gonna say things "look" ok but now I question if a nute swap is a positive thing for this system MID CYCLE and if it really throws a bad variance into the mix? In reefkeeping small consistent water changer are key but a lg one can wipe you out....

GF, I addded my total volume of cal-mag to my 32g top off by itself monitor my specific plant uptake of cal-mag per strain this time. Otherwise nothing else.

crossouttheiis, thanks for stopping by as well. you notice this before?

shady, makes sense to me but it dropped so damn hard and fast its pretty scary! shit, bout a hour ago it was 5.0....fuuuuck...
stressss

Don't trip brah... Just pull out a gallon of the mix from the epicenter and add base to it to raise the pH to about 6.5 in that gal... Then add it back to the epicenter and check the overall pH in a couple of hrs. Continue this until you reach 5.5 pH overall and then monitor progress over the next few days... I still let my pH drift upwards after this point. Also in my two UC runs I only changed the res at the flip and once more around 30 days later. During last couple of weeks until harvest, I just continued to topoff with RO at a low pH... :thinking

added some ph up, and freshwater from my topoff and still only ph 5.0. dropper and meter read the same.

hmmm...as long as this deal smooths itself out I think I will go away from uc change outs unless something major happens. A shock like this prob isnt good, mid stretch when they need to be doin the boogie.
