If the plants turn yellow from over fertilizing it causes them to not take the nutrients up through the roots right? Causing the yellowing? Would a light foliage feeding help them? Or superthrive spray?

Going to clone this romie, i got a propagation dome and heating pad, i have a cabinet that’s perfect for it, it was my original veg closet. Already has ventilation ducting i left in place, i just stole the 80 mm ac infinity fans.

The jack herer is bent over enough, giving it a break, just holding it it place, it will bend back to the light fast. I was going to put it it flower today, and saw i only transplanted it 5 days ago, its grown and is healthy, but i hesitated and stuffed it back in veg.

Working the magic melon a little bit, i want to clone this the most, this strain is really exciting to me to try. High thc and cbd good smells etc.

Soooooo, the 6” can fan i got is dying. The 6” ac infinity is doing most the work. I should have done duel 4” infinity fans 2 6inch feels like over kill, but this things about trash. It’s melonfarm brand, my fault for buying a 17$ fan. Bad part is its been making the pressure more negative than i want to maintain the right airflow. I’m buying a new fan soon, just got my ppm meter. But for now its sucking my tent flat, stretching the material. I braced it with some bamboo from outside...... so much for clean room

These guys are doing ok still, more hairs and i measured ppm in runoff. My water is 150ppm the runoff was around 500, the runoff from the veg stuff was 700 range, never fertilized that’s just the dirt being only 5 days old i suppose. So does that mean the flowers are flushed enough?

Interesting side note, the romie clone and the jack herer are the same born on date, cut and plant same day. I bought the magic melon at about the same time, it was a teen clone.

It wasn’t actually sucking the tent flat, its a strong tent i tested it at speed 10 just squeezing in and getting looser, i decided to use my 4” for the intake and use the can fan for my veg tent. The 4” ac infinity is 2times the fan easy

Put the herer into flower, i wrote the date on the tag. The pot is taller than the buckets I cut, we will see how far she stretches....

Looking at these up close, not so bad, they are filling out a little

Noticed the 3rd dosido seed sprouted in the herer pot lol. 9 seeds out of 9 seeds.

It’s been storming like crazy, power went off for a little while, I was like NOOOOOOOO not again lol.i have a generator ready to go this time. The wind was blowing so hard it blew over a board inside my wood shed and smashed one of the wacky romie plants. Guess I’ll start my perpetual harvest a little early. I have a bunch of fresh outdoor blueberry muffin, stuff smells amazing, and orange kush, its really nice to. But I had to pick up some strawberry banana and purple punch from humboldt indoor. Just for the variety lol. Them and up north are my inspiration, consistent quality, nice variety. This may be the last time I go there. Might as well spend the money doing it myself.

Really turned out wacky lol, think I may have got some nutes mixed up and gave it a bit of nitrogen, not just revegetation for the timer malfunction. Cause wow lol probably just going to bubble hash it. Idk the last one was some premium uplifting stuff. Guess I have to try it. Think mimed try’s it fresh, I’m on it now, lol off to the bong.

I started bending them young because I only really have room for the stretch during flower, the wedding cake before this last bend was 12” from the light if you look at the base I was training it but it stretched so fast and the tent was so full I had to let it go strait up, hope it’s done stretching and finishes fast. I need room soon.

The magic melon has already shown growth since transplant, I was worried because the terra-cotta pot tends to have roots stuck to it, and grown around the screen on the bottom, I had to more or less rip it out by the trunk. Going to wait a couple days, take a couple branches for clones, and flower it. Same with herer, showing growth and fully recovered from bend, pics in morning.

No herer clones I still have 13 seeds. I also have several accidental seeds from my friends orange kush out door. It got to 15 feet lol. Turned out really good! After I decide what strains to keep from the cutting and seed madness, I’ll pop a few and see how they do.

I’m kicking myself for going bonkers, satori has Durban poison clones, thats on my list with the herer. The original goal was to have 2 sativa style and 2 indica, or night and day weed basically. On a perpetual cycle. As long as I keep them trained short I can do 8.

bah! i meant to say, with your soil post about samples n such: doods r diggin up their yards (many, on cesspool/septic: no wonder it's so green!), and sellin it, up there! some of our peers, actually say the ash does wonders... later on. if u were homeless, at any point, last yr... i might consider that- the evac part. i don't think soil will b an issue 4 u. Humboldt, something- has a great catalog 4 YOU PEOPLE!, btw.
I'm wondering if we might not have met, in a previous life, norcal. ;D .

Ordered another 2 bulb t5 for veg, the front half isn’t covered by light and they stretch/bend a little, not to bad, and works with my training but figured a little more light/heat will be ok for winter.

Got everything i wanted for taking clones, just got a dome and a heating pad, its been getting cold, I’m trying to not use the forced air heater, just the fireplace, to justify the cost of the lights.

Have a bunch of company, going to be tricky sneaking into the attic, i need to monitor the seedlings, everything else will be fine through the weekend. It would be sad if all of them popped then i let them die from not watering. I only water the seedlings with a hand spray bottle, its so easy to over water seedlings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So they are always a day away from drying out. I will take detailed pics next time i pop some beans.

One more thing, i had been using bonsai tie wire, its pretty thin, i don’t think it will be a problem, but it has slightly damaged the stem of the jack herer, i bought some of the soft tie wire with the rubber around it. Ill take more pics on Sunday.

So I’ve been trying to learn more about the nutrients and using a ppm meter. I’ve read about mixing 50/50 one oz water and one oz soil I’m using and testing the ppm-ph-and npk going to test this on the soil from one of my old plants I cut and from my new mix this weekend, I love science lol I’m excited. To learn and understand better.

Making some miscellaneous changes with my set up.

Converting my old cupboard i had the first herer and magic melon in to the nursery room. Had this Mylar type wrapping paper, it helped a lot so i think i will line everything with aluminum foil on Sunday.

Set up is
12 watt cfl on the stressed cuttings
2 bulb 2’ t5 for when i bring the seedlings down, maybe as soon as Sunday
Heat pad and dome
Misc items on rout
Notice the small hole in the floor front right. There’s another one in the back corner opposite. I have 2 ac infinity 80mm fans in my flower tent, those used to be the intake and exhaust, the cabinet gets pretty warm.

Ordered a 120 mm fan for air circulation to replace it them in the flower tent, and a temp humid sensor, should have everything i need to finish it up by the 5th, also bought a carbon filter for my veg tent, the magic melon is covered in trichomes and stinks from slightly starting to flower. All the new growth has it to, It’s going to be one of my moms, so are a couple of the stressed cuttings if they happen to root and regrow without issues.

This will help a lot, i will need more room in the small veg tent soon. I will put all the seedlings in it once I’m done setting up a timer and lining it. It will only work for a short while, but hopefully with some lst/pruning i can veg them till i sex them.

There’s enough room for 2 trays in there

Eventually i hope to have 4 mothers in my veg tent, 2 different sativa and 2 different Indica, take 2 clones off them every couple weeks, veg a short while, and sea of green perpetual style. Going to take some time to work out what’s realistic, and how much soil/pot size to use etc.

Have my kids split custody, they go home Sunday, and i will resume messing with everything. I rearrange stuff and tweak things for a week then see how it all goes for a week lol. I peek in and water, but pretty hands off.

Going to add the carbon filter to my veg tent and increase the passive flow a little.
Reroute some electrical to clean things up a bit.
Set up the 80mm fans and line cabinet with aluminum
Move the 9 seedlings to the nursery cabinet

So I ordered a cheap led light for my flower tent, Hoping it will work better for supplemental light than the cfls, was pretty highly rated on Amazon, thinks it’s a blurple lol

I chickened out and tried to cancel, if it works I’m buying another 400w hps. If it doesn’t cancel I will try it and see what happens.
