There is a technique for re-vegging an auto but it is unreliable at the minute, once I perfect it I will be sure to share the knowledge with you.

I am glad you are enjoying the info, stay tuned there is lots more to come. Once I finish the growing techniques info I will be talking about perpetual growing, the best equipment to use, genetics, feminised seed production and much more.

Welcome to the auto revolution!

Can't seem to find Perpetual grow guide? Was it ever posted? Am I just too :smoking: and missed it?

ACK! :opps:

Three inchs isn't deep enough, is my opinion. She needs a deeper pot.
It's too late now so do what you can with her.
You need to cut the bucket down to plant level so you can get good air flow around/through her.

That's what she said...

Now I have talked about the lifecycle of an auto lets get to how best to grow them

I wont bore you with the simple stuff like germination the only thing I will say on this subject is its best to start them in their final pot as autos don't like to be transplanted, or rather they don't like their roots disturbed.

So lets say you have germinated your seeds and they have broken ground.
The first thing to note is that Autos are very sensitive to nutrients compared to photo period plants. So lets go through the correct way to fertilise them.

Here is a feeding schedule for autos using bio bizz nutrients

As you can see for the first 3 weeks there is very little in the way of nutrients, this is because at this age they burn very easily.
The main thing in this time period is root stimulator, as there is a very short veg cycle this helps the roots to get a good foothold and increases the overall growth of the plant.

Once you start to introduce nutrients it is best to start with a quarter of the recommended dose and then slowly increase it to 1/2 - 2/3 of the recommended dosage.

Hello from Greece! Very informative post mate!
I have a question , these quantities you say are per week or per watering?
Thank you

If you're asking about the BioBizz schedules, it's per watering. This should answer some more of your questions as well:

Thank you for the super quick answer and the very informative link you show me!
I have 6 autos in day 20-22 and i follow this program (instead of root stimulator i have voodoo juice for the roots)
I will use also the molasses in mineral water (7,3ph) because the tap water in my home is not good but generally i put ph down to go to 6-6,5
Do you know how many lumens can i give them in this stage? I have about 23.000-25.000 in the top of the plants. Can i give them more or it's ok for now?
Thank you

Hey! Yeah! That custom schedule has been working out for me just fine! I'm actually doing 2 autos, stickin' to that thread. Everything good for now and I bet yours will be fine too if you do stick to it. Can't give you good advice on lumens though. 22 days hmm.. Should be around 4th node or sth like that? Well, at that point my thoughts are: the more light, the better. You can't match the sun anyways. Just watch your temperatures! As long they're good, you're good to go I think.

You can give them all the light they can take, just watch watch the temps.

Yes they are in 4th node.
My temperatures are about 25-27 celsius and the humidity about 48%-55%
I will try lower the cool tube a litle to see what happens (i have the thermometer who count the temp on the leaf or bud)
I also have 2 quite big fans to reduce temp.
From your experience what are the limits of the temperature/humidity for autos?

No experience, no clue! Lol! Can't really help you out on that.
But, as far as I know, Rh is pretty ok I guess.
With tempratures, I pretty much love the hand test. Put it over your tops, if it feels hot after 30 seconds, back off the lights. If it feels compfy, your temps are good. Good ventilation helps in lowering the temperatures a lot. Btw: if you're using one of these standart thermometers, they ofter read radiant temperatures. These can be much higher than ambient temperatures. You have to measure temperature in the shade. That's the temperature you need to know. But... To be on the real safe side: Always do the hand test as well.

I have 4(!) thermometers because in my first grow had huge problems with high temps.
So now i have one in the pot, one in the soil of another pot, one in the air (hanged in a rope) and the one i told you which count the temp on the leaves/buds.
I trust most the last two.
One last question, i water every 2-3 days with 300-400ml water every plant. Is this ok for this stage (20-22 days from spourt) ?
I now water only a big circle around the plants. Maybe better, do i have to water all the pot (18lt pot) ?
Thank you so much for your help!

18l pots? Wow... That's big... Can't tell. Never used a pot that size actually. But hey, why not start a journal with images and stuff so people can follow up and see a bit more of what you do? Always great to see what others do!

I keep my lights about 18"-22" from canopy top. Temps sound good so far.

I have 6 autos (2x Autoextreme, 2x Think Diferrent, 2x Star Ryder) in day 20-22 from spourt under a big cool tube with 600 hps dual spectrum and 2 autos ( 2x Early Miss) in day 51-52 under a 400hps dual.
The lights are about 38''-39'' from the top of the young plants and give them about 25000 lumens.
I definetelly try lower the lights to the 30'' for start, to see what happens.
I will post some photos later or tomorrow.

Lookin nice.. The Think different should be a good yield,I think they can reach 6' tall. So they may take a little longer to start flowering. I'm interested in these. Go ahead and start a thread so we can follow your grow..

Hi your chart is based on 10 weeks
I have some super lemon haze auto and it says the flowering time is 7 weeks can it be pushed to to 10?
Yes,I'm pretty sure your haze will take closer to 9-10 weeks. Most 7weekers actually go to atleast 9 weeks.
But yes you should be fine ,if anything you will just cut out a feeding in the end.
