I'm getting unexpected results with my little experiments so I finally ordered tds meter (be here in couple days), I think the water in this area is worse than I thought, could be the new mediums I'm trying though too. Just got cheap 1 so I can figure out what I'm working with.
3/4 sour 91 are male, fma, got 1 more in veg to throw in flower next week (it was the sensitive 1 to nute overdose). The other skunk did not do well with nute overdose either, think I'm just gonna trash that 1 entirely, itll take too long to recover.
With summer here, it's getting too hot in this room, looking into ways to keep temps down without using more electric (lights dim when I vacuum when both tents are awake so have breakers pretty well maxed out)

Tds meter has arrived, unfortunately my numbers are good outta tap & for nute doses. Guess I'll check medium next, is slurry test best way to check it?
If medium is good then my issues are freaking all heat related. (Pretty sure it was but was hoping for easy fix of hard water or something, fma). Summer in stl.

Heat is semi controlled stays less than 90 anyway instead of 100. Lost couple, damaged most, 1 gmo sourdubb x wilson was a total champ during heat wave (barely any brown at all). Chopped sour diesel #3 (it was the 1 that didnt have enough trichs anyway).

Slowed veg as much as I could so I could deal with heat issues but they have suffered for it, repotting poor things today so I dont kill them

Could you modify a cooler with a duct coming out of it going into an intake at bottom of your tent and then drill holes on top of other side of cooler and then pull air through with a fan? It would be better still if you took some soaked paper towel strips and hung them from the lid of cooler with duct tape. You'd have to replace ice a good bit but that would have to bring some cold air in while the ice/water is cool. Basically same concept as an evaporator. You're already running a freezer in that same apt, right?

Just a crazy thought.

Sad little veg tent, now to let them recover from severe stalling so I can start putting stuff in flower again in next couple weeks, only lost few & severely damaged most of rest in flower with temps, 1 of the gmo sourdubb x wilson freebies I got was a little champ, take pics of even sadder flower tent tonight

Yeah, I've done worse than this lol, they'll recover, withheld nutes & kept in solo cups too long to try to stall but I didnt wanna risk killing them so repotted & gave small nute dose last night. I think I got flower temps controlled, steady last few days so time to move forward again

The flower tent in the heat aftermath, 3 are almost done anyway, 2 didnt do well, 1 did amazing & 1 just got put in. I have clones of everything so it could be worse

They just got flushed so I can start over with nutes in case heat did any nute intake damage. I'll put DE on them tomorrow & see what they do. Runoff ph was good 6 in & 6.5 out, ppm was 100 in & 175 out so not terrible.

Of course, they were protected. I still have 6 more of those seeds too, I did break stem when repotting 1 so we'll see if that 1 makes it. Got clones of everything, except for amnesia (apparently didnt leave enough for reveg, so germed another of those with other seeds)

Trying to figure out what these lights actually do & I'm also not sure if I'm using the calculator correctly, screenshots of all, readings taken at plant levels directly under the 2 lights. Never cared before this year because I had 1000w hps, trying out leds now

I don't think you can calculate the lux that way with led. Try this: https://www.ukaps.org/forum/threads/lux-par-pur-and-dslr.30955/

Basically it's a formula using a white sheet of paper and correcting for that (since that correction is well known). I'm going to try it myself tomorrow!

Once you have those lux, you can use a PAR calculator.

So I think you can take a white sheet of paper (better of you know just how white), divide that reading by your reflectivity (guesstimate at .8) and use that lux in the converter. I THINK that should be close. Like I said, I will try tomorrow.

Once you have those numbers, you can look up ideal ranges for ppfd. I think min for ideal flower is like 600 and should be under like 900 unless you are supplementing co2. Again you would want to look it up.

Just confirming that I think measuring lux that way is decent. I was able to get pretty close to the same results as viparapectra lists for my lights when I converted to PAR.

Well dam, the sour diesel that i cut down last week & stuck in fridge (dried itself while growing during the heat issue) just got me high as fk, it won't last because it was too early to cut but it tasted & head buzzed like a decent diesel, yay I have a clone in veg

And I got 2 more sd in flower, they did better, they getting nice new white hairs & looking happier yesterday, got little warm last night though, 93, came home to loose tape at vent, cheap stuff but gorilla tape will take off paint & all lol
