Welcome to the grow… all are welcomed hereI want to be a part of this some way but alas, I have absolutely zero to offer up and add to it.
Hell, half the time, I don't even know what you're talking about.
Thats the hope and goal… im very confident in this so excited to get goingholy shit you've got some tech going into this, it will be interesting to see where integration finishes up, could be mind-blowing.

Yup they areGot a lot done today. Sterilized the grow space. Got the external dehuy online. Finished the light setup. Ran all the tent sensors and I’m now logging (useless) data. Changed the pre filters on my carbon. Got the ac infinity fans online. Got the ac tested. This growspace is ready to rock.
Now things slow down a bit as software always lags hardware. Important stuff happening in the background.
Went to the hydro store to pick up an exhale bag. Says out of stock on indefinite back order. He used to have a shelf full. Told me to go to the mushroom guy he sells them.
What a crock of shit these bags must be. I have grown 400 pounds of mushrooms in my basement at one time in various phases of fruiting and I still require co2 injection. I’ve got this documented personally on GoPro.
If the hydro guy is sending me to my competition to buy mushroom bags, I must be in the wrong business. I should be selling my own version of exhale bags. Call ‘em FARTS!
If anyone has info on the content of exhale bags I would appreciate it. If these are just mycelium as I have been told by multiple sources now I’ll do the experiment with a 10pound bag of lions main I was about to fruit.
How can there possibly be any validity to these bags? Maybe because I am encouraging fruiting co2 is sequestered in the mushrooms? Idk.Yup they are
Nope mycelium can actually produce high amounts of co2 they consume o2… kinda the exact opposite ratio wise as plants… some mycelium are better than others for that purpose. How can there possibly be any validity to these bags? So say you run 4 plants in 4x4 space and just pretend your getting 2 lbs - how much more weight could a bottle possibly add?Nope mycelium can actually produce high amounts of co2 they consume o2… kinda the exact opposite ratio wise as plants… some mycelium are better than others for that purpose.
I agree though they seem far mire gimmickry and marketing.
I used to build my own co2 generators. They work much better im sure but kind of a pita and hard to regulate. Definitely worth going bottled imo
Subjective because it depends in the base rate of how well you grow. To pit it simply growth rates can be upwards of 20% if you are pushing healthy plants to the limits. So say you run 4 plants in 4x4 space and just pretend your getting 2 lbs - how much more weight could a bottle possibly add?
Is that 20% more finished weight? Or just growth speedSubjective because it depends in the base rate of how well you grow. To pit it simply growth rates can be upwards of 20% if you are pushing healthy plants to the limits.
So some may see 25% and others may see 0%
Speed and in turn plant health also so some of that translates into weight yeah… but thats not to say all of it does. More vigorous healthy growth always will increase weight. Same as without co2. Co2 just reduces some of the limiting factors… much as i intend to do with the o2 in the rootzone. Is that 20% more finished weight? Or just growth speed
I should say can make photosynthetic rates over 20% higher because it increases the photosynthetic efficiency and that means more energy produced and used by the plant to build more plant material… is a better way to describe itIs that 20% more finished weight? Or just growth speed
I’m running bout 65 lux on my cheap meeter I think that’s at least 1000 ppfd but I’m still running a hlg board ( small hotspots) - I just don’t think it would be worth it for me unless it’s 20% weightIs that 20% more finished weight? Or just growth speed
I’ll weight for this box to be available to the public! Lol giddy upBut growth is always limited by the largest limiting factors eg. Co2 in atmosphere and o2 in the rootzone. Once you address those your next limiting factor maybe light, or nutrients.
So as you change limiting factors m, demands change in all other factors and some may then become a limiting factor.
Take light if you have a 100w light in a 5x5 its oretty safe to say that will be your biggest limiting factor… fix that and next maybe the co2 and so on
Its always a cost vs gain brother… i run sealed rooms for other reasons than co2… so the fact i want to run sealed means i have no choice but to supplement co2I’m running bout 65 lux on my cheap meeter I think that’s at least 1000 ppfd but I’m still running a hlg board ( small hotspots) - I just don’t think it would be worth it for me unless it’s 20% weight
Thanx ! No doubt the limiting factor is the farmer here! LmaoBut growth is always limited by the largest limiting factors eg. Co2 in atmosphere and o2 in the rootzone. Once you address those your next limiting factor maybe light, or nutrients.
