Why what do you mean? Tell me what happen so it dont happen to me because i didnt know you can mess shit up because of the nutes?

Also, I'm still noticing the new leaves coming in quite deficient on the Cali Haze so I bumped her up in nutrients too. Gorilla Glue is drinking and eating great. She's getting further into preflower structure. PPM hasn't changed since I started em. Roots are phenomenal.

Only thing I'm worried about is timing when I should switch my veg nute to bloom. My last transition was a complete disaster. Not trying to go through that again. The Cali Haze is a long way out til I have to worry about that, but the Gorilla Glue can't be more than a week away I'm thinking. She's gonna be a month old Friday.

I will tell you one other thing i do.. When i lst like you have done, if there is any huge fan leaves covering new tops/growth, i pinch it.
When small i try to tuck it, so as to not take away from the plants growth. 6 weeks and after, i will pinch them off, as ive seen it not only help the top, but also the top that i pinched the fan leaf from... They are getting ready to hit stretch in the next 7 to 10 days. I would feed 500 + ppm up till day 40 and start fnb 700 to 800 ppm or 8ml per gallon. That is what i did. I used gh 3 part (HEAD RECIPE) for veg up until switch to fnb at 5ml per gal for a 10 days then 8ml per gal the rest of the way. Day 70 start topping off with plain ro.... for the remainder(prob 3 days) but your girls look good,, you are doing a great job. I am glad to share the nubie stage with you :)

Yea. I had a multitude of issues, but basically the strain I was growing was VERY susceptible to Nitrogen toxicity. I had to flush my system and couldn't bring the PPM any higher than 400 without them showing more toxic, with bloom nutes!

Purple Voodoo.. Not an easy strain in Hydro. If I grow again, will be from start to finish in bloom nutes.

Adjustments I've made this week:

60 Day Wonder - PPM @ 450 - GH FNG/CalMag - 10 days old. I took a chance to see if I could give them a descent PPM in the start. This strain took well. 3rd leaf set coming @ 10 days old.

Super Cali Haze - Did some more research on the strain. Kind of on the fence about picking this one to grow as 1 of my first autos. A lot of people reported herming plants, bigtime stretching with low yields. However, there were some bomb reports as well. Long as I keep my levels in check I should be ok. Furthermore, I read they're more photo trait. So, in lieu, I think it makes more sense why I'm showing mag. def. Been running @ 560 PPM. Bumped to 800. Response - Positive. bunch of obvious lower branch growth and the stem is surprisingly thick. Easily 1/2"+ @ 27 days.

Gorilla Glue - More of an Auto trait. Funny, Im right on schedule with your recommended PPM's. 560 on Monday. It dropped to 555, then went up to 590 but I noticed it drank a lot so I added a ball jar of water bringing it down to 560. Dropped 5 PPM and responding really good to the LST.

It just dawned on me to use this friggin journal for everything, lol. I always forget to write down my adjustments, but I'm on here all the time.

@Midwestjay. Show some of your grows buddy! What kind a girls you got running right now?

I see... that is why i went with the lucas formula ( head recipe).. Lucas reported then there was enough n in the micro/bloom if used 6/9 ratio, that way not needing the grow added which can easily cause n toxicity in young tender plants. And if you are using ro water, add Epson salts.. or 1ml per gal of calimag.. I had n toxicity twice.. Very easy to spot. Both times I semi flushed the plant and redid the nutes. one time i tried to give them advanced veg formula and the other time I let the res get real low which raised my ppm and my ph which locked out p and k, which spiked n

Hmm..... I have the micro and bloom. Lucus is 1 part micro 2 bloom right?

right that is what you are doing here.. I actually am trying to keep track of your ppm and progress especially when you try it earlier because like you i dont know when you can hit them with what. I know this I hit my seedlings at 3 days old with 250 ppm in the root spa and they blew the fuck up like nothing i ever seen. At 2 weeks they are as big as my autos at 30 days easily!
That Root spa and the straight into dwc is the shit.. Personally, I am ready to try sprayers, and no median.. just hold the plant in air and spray the roots for 2 mins every hr...

let me get a better answer... @Wisher619 wasnt that 6/9 on the head recipe? 4.5/7 is 3/4 strength and 3/4.5 is 50% strength... I think im correct... Wish will verify,,, I am a student....He is a stator of facts... @Midwestjay will acknowledge that if wish is speaking,, its good to be listening...

ya autos seem to like it at about 500 ppm untill stretch and then i hit them with 700pp and 800 the week after... I havent went any higher than that...

yea that is the correct formula
but with head you want to run calmg
for coco
lucas full would be 8/16 for straight hydro

Well shit i think he has fnb, so he might as well use it,,,, you think 8ml to start now at 1 month? they are getting ready to hit stretch in a week, so does he want to hit them now with 8ml, or wait for stretch to start, then hit them with 8ml?

with the head formula
the reason why you bring down the bloom is because it is for coco
in coco you dont want to much K Because coco releases its own K
that is why most coco specific brands have low K because it works with the media

but for hydro you need full bloom for all that P and K because your media is H2O

no just start 8ml right now....and run that till the end
you can run that since seedling if you want
depending on how strong your light is

@Wisher619 what do you think of the FNG? using flora nova grow during veg and FNB during flower? What would be the advantage to using both instead of just FNB all the way thru?

in week 3 of flower you can also run a little P/K booster in there to help with the stacking
as well Floralicious + is a good "sweetner" that may bring out taste and aroma
