Hard to see the spots in the pic. She's not that ugly, ive seen much uglier lil.Maybe "you" are just over watered? :) I will have the benefit of your grow experience when I drop those PC.
I hope some of other beans pop I been known to dig them up lol Thats why I get a spout at least before I drop them now.
Yeah the ugly thing has some tiny spots on some of those ugly leafs but has some ugly new growth to which confuses me that in her shape anything new would start. I have the RH back to 50% trying to get my heater and Ink bird worked out.
Heavy stuff, sorry you have to go through it bro. Hooe the best for you.Dr told my mom today she had to decide if she wanted to live or die. She has not been eating because of nausea. Now she is in bad enough shape that she could use a feeding tube but because of overall health that the specialist would probably not give her one. So if she wants to live she had better force it down or die. Dr's words.
I'm lost on what to tell her. Selfish me wants to use the argument that by not eating it would be suicide or remind her years ago I promised her I would not commit suicide if she was alive because she said losing me would kill her.
Would I feel different if she had cancer or would I ask her to go through chemo and anything else just so I wouldn't lose her. Should I tell her I am ok with her not eating thus ending her suffering.
She has been sick and in pain for a few years and seen many drs who either said I don't know what else to do or just pushed more drugs that made her worse. 1 drug they gave her was Lyrica and it worked some until they maxed out the dose and the side effects were worse than the help. She went through a 1 year taper off of it and stayed miserable the whole time. Towards the end of that year she started taking opiates without a prescription a mere 20mg a day or percocet. When she came home from Florida and went to see her dr she told her she would not give her any opiates because of her compromised breathing with her already needing oxygen around the clock and unstable blood pressure. So without a supply she had to quit by tapering off in just 3 weeks and is very very hard on her probably more so because of her weight. She was only taking 20mg but she only weighs 90lb. She is tired of being sick and sick of being tired.
If you noticed there wasn't and "?" in all of it because I was more thinking out loud then asking questions.
On another note I think I may have figure out why my plants are smaller then I feel they should be and am expecting a growth spurt within 2 days.
@str8smokn I final fished all 58 pages of the Accurate Info page.
Good night all
What type of fixture is it again?@incogneato , @str8smokn , @anyone How close can I put this 600w MH ? I have it 18-20" now and have a temp of 77° but that is with a heater on in the room. If I turn the heater off the temps will drop another 5° easily during the day and 10° at night. So can I give them too much light if I turn the heater off and lower the lights until I get temps in range ?
Hope everyone is having a good day
I meant the fixture, batwing, aircooled?@incogneato its a 600w MH for now I will switch it to HPS Later. From This chart it would seem like optimal would be closer if you can get it.
Put your hand under the light... raise your hand till it gets slightly warm... thats where you put it.@incogneato , @str8smokn , @anyone How close can I put this 600w MH ? Its a cool tube fixture with glass but currently no duct work hooked to themI meant the fixture, batwing, aircooled?
Appreciate the input. The word slightly being subjective works for making sure a person keeps the lights far enough away but I was looking for how close can I get them to maximize yield on this small setup of autos.Put your hand under the light... raise your hand till it gets slightly warm... thats where you put it.
Thank you18 inches batwing and 12 inches in a vented hood is about as close as you can get..
I do what @GT21 suggested. Keep in mind these are just guidelines. Every room, strain, etc is different and will react differently. If its hot to the back of your hand it will be hot for them. Its a cool tube fixture with glass but currently no duct work hooked to them

Thank you
My concern was could overdose them with light even if I keep the canopy tent under lets say 75-77°

Its all trial and error bro.. Just takes time and money....Thanks bro. My room without a heater on and lights off for 4 hours would probably drop into the low 50's. I have the lights at 15 inches right now with canopy under 80 easily. The room its self is maybe 70 and lights will go out at 1:00 by 1:30 temps will be down to 60's without the heater so I try to adjust to keep everything between 70-80. I moved years ago to escape these temps but didn't go far enough it seems.
I value all of you guy's opinions even when they are not the same or I would not tag you when asking a question. I also appreciate the fact that even with descriptions no one can give truly specific info about a room they are not in.
I am watching these things like a fat kid on cake well like me on cake :) Now let me tell you how I screwed up and held these plants back a bit.
I got one tracked minded since my first plant that the most often mistake was over watering. So I had read this time how I needed these auto's to start in large pots. Now reading this set off another bit of advice that a large pot and small pot was often the cause of over watering.
So I filled my pots after mixing the soil with extra pearlite. I added a couple ounces of water to the center and in the tiny seedlings went. The next 3 weeks I never added enough water to allow the roots to spread out and pretty much made it the same as if I would have stuck them in a small cup. The soil outside of this small circle I hadn't watered.
Not once had I watered to run off. (Somehow I must of watered the ugly one at least double one night but only in the center of the pot.) 8 ounces is the most I had given per pot all the way up until last night. I checked and decided they needed water and realized the plants were bigger and could handle more water. I ph'ed 2 gallon of water and started very slowly adding 16 ounces to each pot spread across the entire pot. Then after waiting 15 minutes I started over at the beginning and they all took another 16 +/-oz before I got a little run off.
They all looked better today. I did not water little ugly as she is still trying to dry out somehow.
So no one should worry about me killing my plants following their advice as I can screw up even with the best advice. I won't blame anyone but me if they die for some reason.
Thank you all for stopping in and offering your help.
@jipp Where are you bud?
Lots of both lol.Its all trial and error bro.. Just takes time and money....
I think you're doing good bro. You have good instincts. I know i would struggle watering small plants in big pots, in soil. Very few grows go off without a few mistakes. Once these get a little bigger it will be smooth sailing. It wouldn't hurt to consider a weekly tea. You mentioned having ewc and also some form of bottled microbes right? A little molasses, a handful of ewc, some bennies and bubble 24-36h once weekly to boost microbial life. Mine always perc up when i hit em with it.Thanks bro. another blue cookies x 93 pop dirt sometimes between last night and now and its healthy, thick shoot no purple from over water or cold. so i have 5 blue cookies, 1 aphrodite fem, 1 white widow auto.. hand full of dead solos i think but ill l et them rot until i need the dirt or the cups i guess.
i need about 10 more beans to pop. i think ill use the cup method to pop beans unless they are fresh beans i made.. them to the dirt. cause you can get away with that.
time to get medicated.. just got done feeding the kids. half strength baby food :D
