Here's my bad bitch... One would think I've slapped this bitch around , but I have not. I figured I'd be patient with this one and treat her like a baby. I want the love returned so I'm gonna show it to her.

You lucky bum quagmire lol..what were thE chances of getting your male and female out if 2 seeds!? Not one of mine sprouted and I thought mb it was a bad batch of water of somthing on my part but I soaked 3 of your bubbleguns last night and already have 2 tails poking out..if ya make a few BRB beans let me kno..I still anxious to grow this out..hopefully u find that red pheno..well happy farming folks

No doubt huh NK... what were the odds of me getting one of each of the only 2 seedlings of 6 that made it. probably not to good I imagine.. well, I was born in Las Vegas baby so go figure why my friends call me Vegas.. they refuse to play poker at lunch with me after a few months of facing my luck on the lunch table.. even my name badge on my shirts said Vegas.. LOL..

I sure do plan on making seeds, matter of fact I've got the fan on the male and a few females behind him getting junk goo'd all over them.. hehe. nasty boy. so F1's on the way and I even had Seraphim's permission so all is good.
but I tell ya what, BubbleguN is all the rage NKnect.. look for the sweet smelling pheno, about medium in size that kind of stinks up the room.. although the buds look kind of airy, when they dry they hold weight like nobodies business.. weighing more then a bud 3x's it's size bro.. and potency is 1-2 hits. I mean, DO NOT try to drive after smoking this weed kind of stuff.. and I've received this response from 6 diff friends, wife and sisters.. I had 2 that went face down on their kitchen table and couldn't move.. a sister who took one hit and went to read her book in bed, woke up in the AM never having read a single word.. so this is the magic stuff people look for ok.. do some preflower pollinating if you get a male. If you need to know how to do this just ask me, but it will give you about 30 seeds or so.. I've got a friend who is making me a hundred or so of this in it's pure form while I work her further just in case.. OOOpppps. just realized I hijacked a thread.. sorry Seraphim.. go to my other thread in Autoflowering to follow this ok... Sniper is her bread further.. cheers

Looks like a female to me, don't ask me how I do it but let's see if I'm right ok... good luck, she actually is looking pretty good and the males curl up worse big time.. some leaf's even curling so far inward they roll up all the way on themselves... so, feed her sooner and more then most ok... luck

Hey guys, quick check in: I've been busy with preparing and reading up on proper drying and curing methods as my big auto OG will be coming down in about 10 days and I don't wanna f**k it up! It all comes down to this so wish m luck and any tips are welcomed and appreciated.
On that note being that ONE plant is coming down ( and the 2nd shouldn't be more than 3 weeks after that) I finally will have room to play catchup with you guys in our quest as it were
I put 3 BRB beans in water last night along with 2 Big Daddy. Probly gonna wrap em and bag em this afternoon. I used an emery board on all of them before submersion and they're in a dark cabinet. I was gonna put em in paper towels this afternoon so....wish me luck!
And if anyone has ANYTHING they wished they'd done different or NOT done etc., it would be greatly appreciated to hear it. I've heard that it's been touch and go regarding these seeds so maybe it's a blessing in disguise that I'm starting later so I can learn from any mistakes and basically get a 'do-over' as it were.
Well I'm off and I'll keep updates as things unfold

I thought seriously about going with LED's just because of the constant battle I have with heat issues, but instead, I decided to go with a 400w vs a 600w or 1000w light.. Although I'd love to add some LED strips for side lighting eh !!
Man, I've been thru all the soils: Foxfarm's both light warrior and Ocean Forrest, 3 types of Pro mix be it the compressed 3.8 cu ft units or the bags, Coirbrick in small bricks to 5kg large bricks but found out if you purchase the wrong type you'll battle nutrient issues or retaining sodium.. Used Coco for a few years and finally got tired of fighting headaches with it.. then took a break for almost 5yrs until about 9mos ago.. got lucky and purchased an entire Roots Organic starter kit w/light, foods etc etc for $299 at Xmas time and never looked back.
This soil is the best I've ever used and re-used now 3x's

Make sure you use this exact green bag and stay away from the one called " 707 " as the soil in that one is a bit more for outside work ok... Now I used to do this years ago using a friend, Subcool's , own private mix he created.. Problem is it cost me a buttload of $$ to make it and it was much more then I needed, breaking down the ingredients for a smaller grow was not easy either...

Plus, when I found this stuff by Roots it has most of the products he used and I found that very cool.. the great thing about this is for Auto Flowering it has almost everything a plant needs and matter of fact my 2nd grow I fed them once during veg and once during flowering using only a PK booster.. best hidden secret of an experienced grower man... PK 13/14 used at week 5-7 depending on finishing time.. you won't regret switching to this.... nice price too...

Quick ? On the Roots Organics soil: Do u know if Agway carries it? Also, I went on Amazon just to get an idea on prices and I saw TWO sizes: .75 cubic feet and 1.5 or 1.75 cubic feet. Price aside I'm trying to get an idea a how I would use this or maybe you can tell me how YOU use(d) it. Is the .75 bag enough for 1 plant? Do you just open the bag and put your plants straight in there? Kinda like those 'Eco bags' or whatever they're called? And finally: I've been using FFOF soil as of late and was told by now metro us people to 'dilute' it as it is a VERY 'HOT' soil medium and it isn't advisable to put young plants in the soil straight get outta the bag as it would burn the plant. Thanx in advance for any info. I'm relatively new to growing and am trying out new products, soils, techniques, nutes, etc. but if I can avoid mistakes or disasters I'll GLADLY do so, lol!

I use FFOF and yes you need to dilute, that just means add some perlite to it add some EWC. It's just hot for seedlings str8 in it.thats why you put starter soil in middle where seed is..

Yeah, I get that you need to dilute FFOF. I did it for my current grow. Something like 55% FFOF soil, 20% vermiculite, 20% perlite and 10% sphagnum moss ( for aeration) and it works great. My question, which I guess I didn't either word correctly or forgot to ask (hey, I'm borderline adhd, lol) was 'Does the Roots Organic stuff, that Quagmire mentioned using, need to be diluted as well?? I ask because he swears by it (said he only had to feed it nutes ONCE during VEG and TWICE during BLOOM) and I was thinking of giving it a whirl and I read up on it and it mentions that it has EWC, BAT GUANO, MYCORRHIZAE and some other good stuff but DOESNT say anything about NPK! So I wanted to know if it needed to be 'watered down' or whatever or I f it's safe to use right out of (or right THERE IN the bag, as it were, lol)??
Thanx for any insight

On the roots organic, yes, the bags it comes in is designed to be used as a pot although I don't.. I use square pots from the hydro store and round nursery pots.. Just find them easier to move around for me.. Be careful with the FFOF soil.. personally I'd not use it for Auto's unless I wasn't going to feed much at all. It is a very hot soil and if using it I"d mix it 50/50 with Coco.. I found the FF Light Warrior a much better product, but nothing compares to this Roots Organic stuff and I"ve used most of them out there.. I get the 1.5cu ft bags for $18 at HTG. Bought 2 bags a 2 grows ago and am now using it on it's 3rd grow by just shaking the roots out when harvesting.. Usually I add some new to it so this grow I'm feeding sooner and a little more to make up for foods being a bit used up.. although I don't flush much growing all organic.
Transplanted into 3gal pot today and wait about 3-4 days for her to stretch her legs then I"ll show some updated shots.. personally I think transplanted from 1gal to 3gal right after they show sex makes them go bananas kinda... hehe.
The one thing I wish I'd of done different.. allow them to germinate longer tails in the paper towels like the 2 that survived did.. the ones I planted with just a tiny bit of tail showing did not make it... much luck to all of you..

On another note......OFF WE GO!!! I soaked 3 BRB's overnight and then some and 1 Big Daddy bean. All 3 of the BRB's had cracked with ONE showing a tail poking out already!! ( I HOPE she continues to be this promiscuous, lol!)
The Big D. hadn't cracked yet but....fingers crossed.
I put the 3 BRBs in a wet paper towel, into a ziplock and onto a damp layer of paper towels that I placed on a plate which I then put in the cupboard above my stove and on a seedling heat mat. Fortunately I don't have a second timer right now because this method, sans the bags ( I put the beans in paper towels and on a teacup saucer with another one on top, kept an eye on the temp and VOILA! all my seeds popped AND grew so...) WORKED!! Here's some pics...

Thanx for the advice and pointers Quag
Especially on the tails during germination as I believe that's where I may have f**ked up on a couple grow in the past. I had soaked the seeds overnight and put them into towels, etc. and when I saw that the seeds had cracked, 4 of five had noticeable tails but only ONE was longer than like 1/4" and subsequently THAT was the ONLY ONE that managed to break the surface and survive and thrive.

Yeah, it's definitely worth it to have some patience. hard shells or old stock seeds need that excess moisture of the direct contact of paper towels to help soften the shell and throw it off.. Make sure you soak the seeds until they sink to bottom of the cup and stay down, meaning, they have absorbed all the water they can.. most do in 12-24hrs.. I've even placed seeds in my teeth and bit down to crack the seam open.. lol. whatever it takes huh? I bet your gonna have some good luck.
What size pots are they going into? and when you first put them in soil be sure to not allow the soil to dry out directly around the seedling ok.. I water daily until they pop up then I start watering a bit away from the plant and allow the roots to reach for the moisture rather then watering directly onto the plant..

Guess what I have got the leaf curl too!
I haven't got this leaf curl before on this strain so I can only put it down to having old seeds. I have seen this before on old seeds where the leaves come out twisted and curled until the plant establishes itself in the pot.
No Blueberry in there either

So I think that one was on me guys nothing that you are doing wrong.
I wish I had given you guys a lot more seeds to improve your chances of germinating at least a few each, I just didn't know they were that bad.
I cant wait for new year when I can get some freshly harvested seeds out for testing! You guys might want to check out the feminisation thread in a couple of weeks that's when you will start to see what you will be getting next.

Here are my plants at 2 weeks old, they were given a mix of bubbled water and 2ml root juice per litre and 1.5ml grow per litre

The curly one

The Indica one

Ok now look at this leaf it has two petals tucked under the middle petal. That would be a seven finger leaf while on the other side it's only a five finger leaf.
Here's more pics of sex.. That last ones not to good, but as I said I will wait cause I have been wrong before.

That sucks Str8 my friend... well, I'll have some F1 seeds ready in about 60 more days..lol. I'm allowing him to stay in a bit longer then usual as I want more then 20 seeds and with only 1female she'll need more then just a little pre-flower pollination. And, I finally put her into 3gal pots this morning and within a few days she's gonna go flat out crazy... check her out.

and above is the MALE showing off his balls.. his structure isn't the greatest but it has what I need to make seeds for stock right? pollen. hehe. The leaf curl in the female is going away fast, and this is the 3rd run reusing this Roots Organic Soil.
Really love this stuff.. and so do the plants..
Seraphim: Glad to know it's nothing we were doing man.. but I'm sure a few ladies will show their pretty faces to represent the strain...
