Def interested in that black dream. I have the genetics to make it, now that I read this man, it’s a great idea, I’m super not cool, ina outlaw state, so a lot of the newer shit, I have zero clue about, but is that a legit strain nowadays?

So seedfinder gives us this for black dream, but is Jamaican dream not blue Dream as the parent.
I am also way out of the know on the recent seed scene, I really prefer to only pay 2-3 dollars per seed which means I’m buying old 18-24% strains that were monsters 20 years ago. I could go in for hulk berry and face zits but I’m a real cheap dude, I may get better results but idk.
So ramble over, no it’s seems black dream is not a common thing out there.

Yeah dude.
It has been a journey of discovery. I’ve switched up a lot over the last 4 years. I hope this is instructive and helpful to others, don’t make my mistakes.

Getting closer to magic time.
Just started the alternating growth with the blue Dream, my black Dom isn’t too far behind. I’m gunna let them get maybe 6-8 more inches then it’s in the tent for 12/12 and I start spraying silver. Black dream is closer than we think @Captspaulding.

In other news the tent is doing great, clones need a transplant soon, but all is well. I finally turned the new Cultivar light up to 80%, maybe someday I’ll go to 11.
Be well and keep growing

Black Dom just started alternating.
I figure, let them grow another 2-3 weeks, then flip to flower and breed them!
Black dream here we come.

made it through another week,
Woke up a little too early on a this Saturday and dedicated some time to working in the Lab. All the clones from my buddy were looking hungry so we translated those right up.

Pro tip: always use a root enhancer each time you transplant, it helps with the trauma and gives the plant a leg up on its next growth cycle.

All back in the veg tent. Spacing is a little weird using the round water catchers to control the run off. Also since these are bonus plants, I also ran the dumb experiment of having two plants in one pot. We’ll see if there is any substantial issue or bonus.

Bonus of trimming the black Domina and blue Dream was a few branches. Not all of them have reached alternating growth patterns and hence are not totally mature (so my hope for survival rate is not high), but we will see what happens.

Pro Tip: when cloning is all about being sterile. Sterile knife, sterile 6 pack or container, and especially if you can sterile tent (vacuum and wash walls/ floor).

Fre plants are always nice. We’ll see what happens with these. I am real jazzed about the genetics, but also am in progress of breeding them through. (That thread should be started in couple weeks)
Keep calm and grow on folks,

🏕

The rest of the blue Dream popped those bright white roots. This is superior clone method. Always keep your cubes / medium moist during the whole process.

I have three Dream and three black Dom, al little and cute and shit. Be getting some killer bud out of them near x-mas or new years.

Keep calm and grow on.

It’s been a minute.
But vacations will do that to you. Had a family member looking after the plants so I expected some to be dead and others to be very very sad. But it could be a lot worst. Dad did not really understand how to water the clones, but is all good. We can only expect so much from boomers.
Did some transplants today and I think most of the San Fernando valley will survive from the clones. Such a good smoke.
More updates coming.

Will get my outdoor plants up for you all in a little bit.

Aah, good to see an update. Hope you had a great and relaxing vacation.

I was lucky, only had the two outdoor plants on the go whilst I was away and they survived ok.

Really interested in your black dream breeding project and hopefully learning as I watch/read along.

Yeah man it was a great time, got to sail ️all most every day, Mae back tan to some unhappy plants, but we’ll get them back up and humming.

Thanks man I hope the breeding project goes well and not tits up. Just posted that thread, check it out.

Also I stopped by and saw your outdoors plants, reallly not that bad, we have to expect issues when the care givers leave.

So I don’t often have anything worthy of the photo of the month. But

“Stone Bee : band name”

May be as close as I come.

Indoor update.
Clones have recovered really nicely since I was away. that Rack on the right and in the second picture are the San Fernando valley hash plant from the old hipppy man. I haven’t grown it in while and very happy to see it coming along so well.
Middle and lush plants are the blue Dream and black Dom clones really showing promise, I may have to breed those as the parents are looking a little trashy.
Also I have the challenge Northern lights sprouted, but I’ll update that thread tomorrow.
Be well grow on
🏕
