man......i'm sorry but ya just gotta listen! They look horrible bro, is it really worth risking your freedom over a lost cause? I don't know how many times you've mentioned 'shutting down due to snitching' already........but clearly you don't follow the BASIC rules of growing a real garden. Keep posting away and disregarding people's honest attempt to help and enlighten you, but I don't think that is the path you ultimately want to go down.

a 42W CFL is not enough light to even finish ONE plant properly, and that is just a harsh truth you need to face. Believe it or not, the electricity bill from that 'green' bulb will be worth more than you're final product. And a blacklight is the same thing as having NO light at all.........you're plants can't SEE (meaning use) hardly any of the spectrum that thing puts out, IF it can use any.

Pleeeease stop calling 68w cfls "300w cfls". We've had this discussion at length in the lighting threads.

The "300w" is a marketing ploy. The package will say something like "300w equivalent." It refers to the fact that the 68w cfl will produce approximately the same lumens as a 300w incandescent. True, yes . . . but . . . it is also true that a 1,000w HPS is about "5,000w equivalent." Now, how stupid would it get around here if people started calling 1,000w HPS lamps 5,000w lamps?

. . . maybe about as stupid as trying to grow with black lights.

Everythings fine they grow towards the blacklights and turn Lime green when they are on. I'm wondering if the blacklight really will make them more colorful.

nope....they don't grow towards blacklights.....they stretch up towards the SKY looking for the light that you are NOT providing them............the blacklight won't make them 'anything' but dead.

Hey guys if we don't like this thread, we really don't have to keep posting in it and keep flaming this kid for him just fucking around with some Black Lights and a couple of plants. Even thought I agree with you all, but everyone should have the right to share thier experience or lack of it, with out having to deal with everyone flaming them cause of their growing methods. That's why I left icfag... and I know the farm is nothing like that site. So lets just take it easy on the kid, I'm sure we all learned from our mistakes at one point in time during our learning process and became better growers cause of it.
