I don't mean to thread jack but it could be a number of things, strain being 1 of them. Also, with snow storm ultra and purple maxx (basically the same product) you have to cut your nutrient mix by 25% minimum when using. If you cut out the snow storm I'm sure you could go hotter on the nutes but I have gone BOTH ways (with and with out purple maxx/snow storm ultra) and I would never go with out it now. Could be environmental factors also....
Boomer, I got a finished sample of the BubbaxOG from my boy and its flame!! Sugar covered, pre-98 purple, bubba dominant looking but it has the OG twang/smell/taste. He said there is really no stretch when you flip to 12/12 and finishes in 8 weeks flat - we could have different strains though.
I am very happy I have this strain and I'm leaning towards it being a white bubba with how frosted it is.
no worries, advice is always nice and good to hear for others as well as myself.
i checked out that purple maxx product that is supposed to encourage/turn any flower purple. but u lose the aroma and natural taste of the strain. -says my buddy who works for the hydro shop. i am still considering testin it on a plant or two with specific strains to see the results but idk. id rather see sumone elses results first.
ive heard good things about the smoke of the og bubba kush, "straightkockyouonyourfuckingass" was the way he worded it i belive. haha. only downside is they arent big yielders? itll be interesting to see how this yields.
i need a heavy indica for my own painreflief and actually choked today when i paid $50/8th of pre 98 bubba just to sample it from the collective and other vendor. i havent smoked it yet (waitin til bedtime giggity) but ill let u know.
thanks for confirming the harvest lentgh. i saw 65-75 days and am running sum diff methods this round.
I have two 4'x8' tables in the grow room with their own rez each. Table 1= T1 and Table 2= T2
T1 has 18x OG BUBBA that was vegged for 4 weeks and not supercropped consitantly. It didnt scrog at all and the stretch wasnt as much as i thought (like u mentioned above)
I am running
Advanced Nutes Sensi Bloom A & B for T1.
T2 is the next batch of OGBK cuttings that will be veggef for 4 weeks total as well but they were consitantly supercropped and very even canopy with multiple tops and short internode spacing. exactly wat i was lookin for with the topping method. now the issue is the strain doesnt seem to scrog well so with T2 i plan to just flip the switch and use the netting for support and let the bitches stretch to the light and maybe LST sum but no weaving really. I will also run
Advanced nutes Consesoir BLoom A&B in comparison to the other table that will run Sensi bloom. i want to see the diff in products within the same company. itll be intersting for overall weight diff
