I did notice the bamboo tomato stake method. I got it from somebody else. It does work good too. They can't bend the bamboo up like they can string, thin wire or netting.
I was surprised some people got touchy about that post. I figured you guys would say bring it on old man or something like that.
It's cool. That is why I came on your thread. I always like your posts and threads because you always got good stuff going on.
Thanks bro,

4 per light would be good to see..what do you think?
would like to see led win with 4 under it..
I ended up doing 3 per light.
Next run I will do either 4 per light in soil. Or 1 per light in mini mpb's.
4 under each light would b good esspically if there very alike size and age wise.
but man i guess im jus hatin but like u said its early in the race and i still want hps to win cuz thats wat i run and i hate on led but nice job and keep up the good work.
For me it has been a very interesting learning process.
For example they have all been feed and flushed on the same schedule. And yet the girls under the LED have just a little yellowing in the leafs. The HID has more yellowing. And the Bad boy has the most yellowing.. And has started dropping leafs.
I'm diggin' the bamboo action Bossman! I got that technique from resinryder back in the day with his huge scrog thread... I think 2 per light is good, 3 is better... 4 is what I'm running under each of my 126W panels and it seems too crowded... :thinking the branches on the perimeter suffer a bit from a lack of intense light that occurs in the center of the panels...
Hey bro,
The 205 watt I am running has 5 clusters of light's. And spreads it pretty well. But I am leaning towards 1 girl per light next run. In mini MPB's
What ya think?
say, $500 + s&h for a 300W LED? we think similarly on the spectrum vs lumen thing.
i haven't heard anything about sulphur plasma since high times ran an article back in 1996 :)
an hid in a good reflector has a very even light pattern. having a panel of led makes the center really bright, and the perimeter relatively weak. imho led should be on a light mover.
i also have to suggest that you don't try to 'even' things out between the different lights, rather, use them to their potential, and adapt grow techniques.
What up Crysmatic
What brand LED can you get a 300 watt for 500$.
Last time I checked the unit's from Led girl are more then that. That being said. I do not know of another Led I would even waste my time on. I have seen too many different grows with them. And also spent a bunch of time at my hydro stores checking out different units.
And IMO the units from LED girl are on a completely diffrent playing feild. None of those units could dare challenge an HID.
As far as plasma there was a member of RIU that was pushing some new models of them a year or 2 ago.
I dont think they showed much potential. Just my .02
I The next run I will not even things out. But for this run I already am.
The bad boy is really bright. I dropped it too 12 inches for a couple days. And I think that is what caused the yellowing and leaf drop.
wow very political tread. haahah
cant wait tell the end.
Thanks and welcome bro.
How's everything coming along Bossman? :)
The girls under the Led are looking great. The buds are a bit smaller then under the HID. But the LED plants a much happier and healthier. And they have all had the same feed, feed, water.
Also the girl under the Led has the strongest smell. And probably 30% more trichomes already.
I have pics from the last 2 weaks. But they keep getting file error. I took some more today.
